  • In recent, the interests of multi-user systems have been increased. Multi-user systems allow a number of users to access the system simultaneously. Security is one of the key issues to be addressed in a multi-user environment. We propose a solution based on the NTFS file system that provides the personal data security and considers the convenience of users. The system increases the convenience of users by simplifying the complexity of the security setting on NTFS. We also propose a variety of policies that prevent from the conflicts incurring when different users set up the personal folders simultaneously and do not set up the important folders such as the window system folders as personal folders. In addition, our system supports the function of setting up the prohibition folder lists so that no one can not set the folder to their personal folders.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of electronic trade's web site usability on the user satisfaction and customer royalty. In order to accomplish the purpose of this study, a research model was established and obtained the results as follows, First, navigation, information structure characteristic, communication has statistically significant effect on user satisfaction. It means users think more important the convenience, approachableness than web site design, visually menu to the information. Also, it represent communication with user is important factor to use web site. Second, user satisfaction has significant influence on customer royalty. This result signifies the user satisfaction of e-trade site is enhanced by support for convenience, reliability, smoothly communication and eventually affect thr revisiting intention of web site

Impact of user evaluations of website attributes on recommendation intention for revitalizing B2B textile platform (B2B 섬유 플랫폼 활성화를 위한 웹사이트 평가속성이 추천의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examines options to revitalize a B2B textile trading platform, exploring user satisfaction and perceptions of the importance of several website features. Between June 8 and June 21, 2023, fashion studies majors and domestic fashion brand product planners were asked to use the website of an open B2B textile platform for 30 minutes and then evaluate its features by responding to a survey. The final sample for analysis wad comprised of 150 questionnaires. To analyze the key textile website features, a paired t-test, Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA), and multiple regression analysis were utilized. The analysis classified the key textile website features related to user importance and satisfaction into the following categories: convenience, appearance, product information, and uniqueness. An analysis investigation of the differences in importance and satisfaction for each website evaluation attribute found significant differences in 12 attributes. The IPA analysis revealed that attributes such as product reliability, quality, a convenient search function, and convenient page movement are highly important to users and garner high user satisfaction; these findings demonstrate the importance of maintaining these elements. Images on the main screen, the latest trend information, and product prominence attributes also garner high importance ratings, but result in low user satisfaction, which signifies extensive revision is required. Finally, user evaluation of the convenience, appearance, and product information of the website was found to affect user recommendation intention.

  • It is generally agreed that realizing the full potential of the internet shopping mall(ISM) requires careful identification of customer needs and expectations. However, a quantitative framework to explain and predict users' behavior toward ISM has not been well established because the research on the user acceptance of ISM is still in its infancy. This study proposes a model which uses factor analysis to identify factors of ISM characteristics and individual characteristics affecting user acceptance of ISM. Predictive models based on the multiple regression analyses select the factors and their interactions with individual characteristics that significantly influence user acceptance. Results show that five factors including economy, convenience, credibility, reliability, information risks, and performance risks affects user acceptance. In addition, individual differences in terms of innovativeness, playfulness, and recreational shopping traits have both direct and interaction effects on user acceptance. The implication of this study is that, although user attitudes towards ISM characteristics in general are important to their acceptance behavior, the level of importance depends upon different user groups.

  • This paper deals with the design and the development of user interface for a high speed linear programming solving system. The general users' educational and practical requirements are analyzed and the functionalities that should be implemented for the requirements are designed. The user interface of the system consists of various carefully designed built-in commands that perform the functionalities. The names of the build-in commands are chosen to enhance the users' convenience. We also address the various factors that should be considered in the design of the linear programming solvers when integrated with the user interface. As one of user-friendly environments, data input system that can understand user-written arithmetic form is added to our user interface system. Finally, we compare our system with other user interface systems.

Analysis of Kano's Quality Attributes for Smart Car: An Exploratory Study (스마트카의 Kano 품질속성 분석에 관한 탐색적 연구)

  • Smart car is a vehicle which maximizes convenience, safety, and user experience. The traditional vehicle style will be replaced by a smart car. The objective of this paper is to find essential quality attributes that consumers want. We provide a method to select a best smart car reflecting their preference based on the quality attributes. We derive Kano's quality attributes by an exploratory survey and show an example to implement their decision using the Analytic Hierarchy Process method. As a result, the quality attributes were classified into two groups of attractive quality and indifference quality. The respondents evaluated that the safety of smart cars was more important than the convenience and user experience. However, the smart car was required more functions related to the convenience criteria. These results will provide important implications for smart car design.

  • This study is intended to analyze the effect of fashion consumer's information search on satisfaction with advertisement and the intent to reuse depending on type of advertisement. The survey of the men and women in their 20s and 30s living in Seoul and metropolitan area was conducted for data collection, beginning in 17th through 24th, October 2011. Total 355 copies of questionnaire were used for final data analysis and reliability analysis, factorial analysis and multiple regression analysis were carried out using SPSS 16.0. The results were as follows. First, for banner, e-mail and search advertisement, constant information search had influence on convenience for use and satisfaction with information, and for e-mail advertisement, information search appeared to have had effect on satisfaction with information. Second, constant information search by type of advertisement had effect on intent to reuse. Third, convenience for use, information and satisfaction with the interest by Internet user had influence on the intent to reuse, while for the user of search advertisement, convenience for use and satisfaction with information had effect on the intent to reuse.

  • This study is aimed at interpreting into changes and characters of function applied into quantative analysis in ubiquitous house. Digital technology being introduced into architectural fields, It applied expansively from design and construction to user's convenience. The application of digital technology is presented to various change like effectiveness and exactness in design and function of space, which is overlayed digital space to physical space beyond the extent of receiving human needs in physical space. In ubiquitous house, digital technologies are supplied to function coordinated with life, appreciating into positional informations of human and materials, spatial informations. Ubiquitous house is comparably effective into funtional expansion, user's convenience, safty, which, for the future, is going to using on housing of high performance encouraging the application of advanced technology. Therefore this study is classified into human behaviors, functions, performances and characters of digital system in ubiquitous house, which being established into the relation of elements, is interpreted numerically into functional changes and charats being applied to ARM.

Analysis of Management Status on Internet Home Pages of Korean Contracted Foodservice Companies (국내 주요 급식전문업체의 홈페이지 운영평가)

  • This study was conducted to compare and analyze the management status of internet homepage of catering companies in Korea for improving internet marketing. An evaluation tool with 6 categories consisting of contents, information update, user's convenience, design, provision of related information, and accessibility was developed and used for the analysis of 6 major catering companies. A five-point likert scale (1=very badly organized, 5=very well organized) was used for evaluating above six categories. The overall mean score for six categories was 2.91 out of 5, showing below the average. The categories received less than 3 points were information update (2.16), user's convenience (2.33), and provision of related information (2.83). The scores for design was the highest (3.66), followed by accessibility (3.33), and contents (3.16). These results suggest that the internet homepaee of the catering companies should be improved especially in the provision of enough information and its update in order to promote their internet marketing.

  • One of the recent trends of cockpit development is to integrate the part of whole cockpit and compartment. The goal of this study is to develop and Analyze User's Convenience for a cockpit prototype based on the design guide of cockpit integration module. The process of this study has been followed analyzing development trend of next generation Automotive cockpit, extracting the design factor needed to making integration module and laying down the design guide of cockpit integration module. After that process, next-generation Automotive cockpit has been embodied as graphical image designing. Henceforth, applying this module to real will be considered after evaluation of utilization. THis study is indicated that one example for evaluation of utilization.
