This research attempts to analyze communication effect of book-trailer as the promotion tool for book from various genre. For this research, existing book-trailers were classified into five types and prospective readers were selected as respondents for this research. Letter explanation type, Interview, cinematic production, stills and straplines, and animation were major type of book-trailer. Findings are 1) communication effect are different according to the type of book-trailers; 2) cinematic production and animation are the most effective type of book-trailers; 3) for memory and confirmation(sharing), a)stills and straplines, interview type, b) cinematic production and animation are founded as similar groups creating communication effect. Result of this research proposed the direction of production and practical use of book-trailer by scientific basis for publication marketer and book-trailer producer. ANOVA was used for analysis of hypothesis; measuring communication effect according to the type of book-trailer and sexuality.

This study confirmed the effect of manager's communication type perceived by organizational members on innovative behavior and the mediating effect of organizational culture. In other words, the manager's communication type was statistically positive for organizational members' innovation behavior (Hypothesis 1) and organizational culture (Hypothesis 2). Organizational culture improved innovative behavior of organizational members (Hypothesis 3). In addition, organizational culture played a mediating role between the manager's communication type and organizational members' innovative behavior (Hypothesis 4). In other words, the importance of improving the innovative behavior of organizational members, which is a key factor for advancing organizational sustainability management, was confirmed. It was confirmed that the manager's communication type and organizational culture act as a key factor for the advancement of innovative behavior. Therefore, executives and managers confirmed the importance of systematic managers' communication-type competency development and organizational culture revitalization plans and the necessity of implementing them in order to improve innovative behavior.

This study was carried out to verify how much instructor's communication skill affects the student pilot's study motivation and satisfaction. The instructor's communication styles are classified into 3 groups by pre-analysis. Three types are cooperative type, control type and professional type. Intellectual cause, performance proficiency cause, social cause and stimulation avoidance cause are extracted and analyzed for the cause of study motivation. Cooperative and control type affected all of 4 factors of student's study motivation by influence analysis. Intellectual cause affected control and cooperative type positively, especially more to cooperative type. Performance proficiency cause also had positive influence to control and cooperative type. Stimulation avoidance cause didn't appear to affect all sub-classified 4 factors of instructor's communication type. Influence analysis of student's study satisfaction from instructor's communication style showed that independent variable affected all sub factors positively. Degree of positive influence affected the control type the most, cooperative type was the 2nd, and professional type was the 3rd.
As franchise industry has grown, the role of a supervisor who is a contact point between franchisor and franchisees has become more vital to success of the business. This research, focusing on his/her specific role, explores communication type, leadership type, and followership type of the supervisor in relations with the organization, franchisor, and franchisees, respectively. Furthermore, we compared performance of franchises by the three types above through the franchise contract management leverage (FCML) which reflects business performance both qualitatively and quantitatively. According to the analysis on supervisors of a franchise business, 'Ganiyeok', the majority of supervisors' communication type were either supportive style or directive style. For the leadership type, team-type and impoverished-type leaders were the majority, while effective or passive followership appeared highest in followership type. In addition, supportive supervisors in communication style, team-type supervisors in leadership style, and effective supervisors in followership had highest FCML, while reflective and directive styles, impoverished style, and passive style had lowest FCML. Primary goal of a franchise business is stable profit generation. This study not only examined what characteristics supervisors need and which style is insufficient, but also proposed tailored solutions for each style. Thus, we confirmed that debates on franchise can be approached in perspective of both communication and business, and we further suggest diverse approaches on future franchise business.
These days, the environment of hospital marketing is changing rapidly. The level of expectation and demand of patients have become greater and more diversified, and patients have more alternatives in selecting hospitals. The standard of hospital selection and the type of using hospital have been changed, and competition among hospitals has been accelerated due to the opening of the medical market through globalization. Accordingly, differentiation strategies are critical in hospital marketing. The quality of medical service oriented toward patient satisfaction becomes a strong strategic weapon to secure a hospital's competitive advantage. Therefore, marketing and communication strategies should be focused on patient-oriented, rather than hospital-oriented. Considering the changes in the hospital environment and the increase in the patients' expectation level, this study categorizes doctors' communication styles into four different ones: trust-type, professional-type, cooperation-type, and control-type. The effects of these communication styles on patient satisfaction were empirically examined. The moderating roles of the patient's characteristics and clinical characteristics between the doctors' communication styles and patient satisfaction were also investigated to find out managerial implications for hospital management. To achieve such goals, data were collected from patients of 12 general hospitals in Busan. The data were analyzed to test research hypotheses that examine 1) the relationships between doctors' communication styles and patient satisfaction, 2) the moderating roles of the patient characteristics and clinical characteristics in the research model, and 3) the impact of patient satisfaction on positive word-of-mouth and repurchase. The following summarizes the major results of this research. First, the data showed that patient satisfaction varied across doctors' communication styles. Trust-type style had the strongest impact on patient satisfaction while control-type style had the weakest influence on patient satisfaction. Professional-type style and cooperation-type style also had positive effects on patient satisfaction but the impact of the two are not statistically different. Second, significant differences in terms of patient satisfaction were found depending upon demographic variables such as gender, marital status, age, occupation, and education. Patient satisfaction, however, was consistent across varying income groups. Third, patients' medical insurance types were also related to patient satisfaction. It implies that a doctor may need to use different communication styles depending on a patient's medical insurance type. Fourth, out-patient and in-patient showed a different level of satisfaction with varying communication styles. Fifth, highly professional knowledge and strong control can influence patient satisfaction depending on the characteristics of the patient treatment field. Sixth, patient satisfaction were proved to have significantly positive effects on word-of-mouth and repurchase. The implications drawn from this study must be tempered by its limitations. First of all, the subjects used in this study were patients in Busan and small- and medium-size hospitals were excluded from the research. Therefore, future research should examine the research model by using a variety of hospitals and clinics throughout Korea. Another research agenda has to do with finding more determinant and moderating variables which will increase an explanatory power of the model. In short, this study may be the first empirical research that investigates the effects of doctors' communication styles on patient satisfaction. Interestingly enough, the results showed that each communication style had a unique impact on patient satisfaction. The findings from this research can be very useful in developing hospital marketing strategies.
Objectives: Interpersonal stress is a major cause and aggravating factor of Hwabyung. The purpose of this study was to compare communication type and stress coping style between the Hwabyung patients group and non-Hwabyung patients group. Methods: The total number of study participants was 101. Based on the Hwabyung symptom scale, the study participants were divided into Hwabyung patients group (30 patients) and non-Hwabyung patients group (43 patients; control group), and the others were excluded from the study . All included patients were administered the Virginia Satir’s communication type questionnaire and stress coping scale based on Folkman & Lazarus’s theory. The independent t-test was used to determine the statistical significance between the features of communication types and stress coping styles in each group. In addition, Spearman correlation analysis was used to identify the relationship between communication types and stress coping styles. Results and Conclusions: 1. Communication types differed significantly between the Hwabyung patients group and non-Hwabyung patients group. 2. Hwabyung patients scored significantly higher in each dysfunctional communication type than functional communication type. Scores of placating stance and super-reasonable stance, which were subtypes of dysfunctional communication type, were high in the Hwabyung patients group. The non-Hwabyung patients group scored the highest in Congruent stance, classified as functional communication type. 3. Stress coping style was not significantly different between the two groups.
The purpose of this study was to analyze self-expression and facilitative communication in university students according the their enneagram personality type. The subjects included 241 university students selected from universities in Seoul and Cheonan. The research tools of this study were the enneagram personality type scale, the assertiveness rating scale(self-expression) and facilitative communication rating scale. The statistics used from this data were one-way ANOVA(Post-hoc Duncan). The results were as follows; first, the self-expression was meaningfully different in content, paralinguistic and nonverbal assertive behavior characteristics by enneagram personality type university students. Second, immediacy, the sub factor of the facilitative communication rating scale varied depending upon the enneagram personality type(enneatype) of university students, Several suggestions were made concerning a study on self-expression and facilitative communication according to the enneagram personality type of university students.
The purpose of this study was to help teachers for their teaching practice by analyzing the excellent lesson videos. To analyze the lesson videos between teacher and students, the researchers classified excellent lesson classes into four types as 'Discourse type', 'Representation type', 'Operation type' and 'Complex type' by mathematical communication pattern and kept close watch each lesson videos. Mathematical communication of the best discourse type classroom was analyzed in terms of questioning, explaining, and the sources of mathematical ideas. As a result, the number of Discourse type classes was 6. Operation type classes were 16 owing to characteristic of elementary class. Representation type class was 1 and Complex type class was 1. The Classes excluding Operation type was more planned by teachers. Teachers need to know about mathematical communication accurately because they designed just 5 lesson plan considering mathematical communication of students and only one of the lessons has the intellectual purpose of communication. Furthermore teachers should reflect questioning for student-to-student in their lesson plan.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to provide patient-centered nursing by comparing the patient needs, patient satisfaction, and communication type of nurses for patients admitted to integrated nursing care service ward and general ward. Methods: Data were collected by self-report questionnaires between September 7 and October 9, 2021. Patients were patients recruited from a hospital in D city, 100 each from comprehensive nursing care service ward and general ward. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, 𝜒2-test, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation. Results: There was no significant difference in patient needs between the patients of integrated nursing care service ward and the general ward (t=-1.12, p=.263). However, patient satisfaction was higher among the patients in integrated nursing care service ward than in the general ward (t=-3.55, p<.001). Pertaining to the communication type of nurses, the informational communication type (t=-4.02, p<.001) and the friendly communication type (t=-3.92, p<.001) were stronger in the integrated nursing care service ward than the general ward. It was, hence, confirmed that the educational requirements were positively correlated with patient satisfaction in the reliability domain and technical-professional domain, and that the nurse informational communication type and friendly communication type had a significantly positive correlation with patient satisfaction. Conclusion: The expansion of the integrated nursing care service ward may be considered in the future, with an informational and friendly communication method as an effective response that can be adapted in practice as a reflection the type of communication among nurses.
This study is to investigate the relationship between the communication type recognized by members of organization and the learning transfer climate in the organization, and when it comes to the type of communications within organization set as independent variable, four variables such as communication with supervisor, media quality communication, and organizational outlook communication were proposed and regarding learning transfer climate which is a dependent variable, four sub-parameters such as supervisor support, colleague support, transfer opportunity and organizational compensation recognition were selected. 116 copies of the statistical data excluding statistically insignificant surveys were used for 150 participants who participated in the 2015 core competency curriculum for SMEs and 3 months have passed, in order to achieve this study's objective. Meanwhile, the research hypothesis was verified with the collected data through frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability verification, technical statistical analysis, and simple and multiple regression analysis by using the statistical package program of SPSS 20.0. Results of this study have shown that firstly, communication with supervisor, media quality communication, and organizational outlook communication all showed a positive (+) significant influence on the superior support in the influence relationship between communication type in organization and supervisor support which is learning transfer climate. Secondly, communication type in organization doesn't appear to affect colleague support of learning transfer climate. Thirdly, communication with supervisor, media quality communication, and organizational outlook except for communication with colleagues have shown a positive (+) influence on transfer opportunity in the influence relationship between communication type in organization and transfer opportunity of learning transfer climate. Lastly, communication with supervisor and communication on organizational outlook showed positive(+) influence in the influence relationship between communication type in organization and organizational compensation recognition of learning transfer climate.
