In the structural investigation of cultivation facilities, the proportion of farmers to grown with double or triple structure were investigated 96%. It has been shown to grow with a stable cultivation facilities structure against environmental changes. The results of the analysis of the changes in the cultivation environment of Yeoju area in July-august, temperature and humidity of the external instrument shelter was $20.2{\sim}29.9^{\circ}C$ and 66.2~99.9% respectively. In the greenhouse 2 model capable of temperature environment regulation in the cultivation facility, temperature and humidity were investigated $19.3{\sim}25.7^{\circ}C$ and 81.6~99.9% respectively. Result of the survey of fruiting body characteristics and yields in the greenhous 2, pileus diameter and stipe length were investigated 66.2 and 54.1 mm, yield of mushroom and individual weight were 312 g and 26.6 g. High-temperature environment regulation shows the improvement of the quality and productivity of the mushroom. Power consumption of the air conditioning has been investigated using 56kwh/day, electricity costs were calculated 2195 won/day.
Glial cells such as astrocytes and microglial cells are the main source of proinflammatory cytokines and nitric oxide(NO) in the central nervous system, which exert neuroimmune and inflammatory functions and other various neurobiologic effects. Though Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer has been known to strengthen the body's defence mechanisms and also to maintain the homeostasis in the central nervous system, the effects of Panax ginseng on the production of immune and inflammatory mediators have not been studied well in the brain. Therefore, this study was designed to study the effects of ginseng saponins on the production of proinflammatory cytokines and NO in the primary cultures of mixed glial cells. White ginseng saponin, 200-500 $\mu$g/ml, showed significant cytotoxicity after 72 hrs and increased TNF-$\alpha$, IL-$\beta$, and NO production. Lower doses of 50-100 $\mu\textrm{g}$/ml showed little cytotoxicity until 72 hrs and also increased the production of TNF-$\alpha$, IL-1$\beta$, and NO. Triple immune staining showed that white ginseng saponin, 200$\mu\textrm{g}$/ml for 72 ks, induced stellation of astrocytes and iNOS expression exclusively in microglial cells. Taken together, the white ginseng saponin increased the production of proinflammatory cytokines such as TNF-$\alpha$ and IL-1$\beta$, and induced iNOS expression and NO production in mixed glial cell cultures, which may be ascribed to the enhancement of central immune responses and the regulation of inflammatory reactions by Panax ginseng.

This paper presents an algorithm for retrieving precise radar cross sections(RCS) of various trihedral corner reflectors (TCR) which are external calibrators of synthetic aperture radar(SAR) systems. The theoretical RCSs of the TCRs are computed based on the physical optics(PO), geometrical optics(GO), and physical theory of diffraction(PTD) techniques; that is, the RCS computation includes the single reflections(PO), double reflections(GO-PO), triple reflections(GO-GO-PO), and edge diffractions(PTD) from the TCR. At first, we acquire an SAR image of the area that five TCRs installed in, and then extract the RCS of the TCRs. The RCSs of the TCRs are extracted accurately from the SAR image by adding up the power spill, which is generated due to the radar IRF(Impulse Response Function), using a square window. We compare the extracted RCSs with the theoretical RCSs and analyze the difference between the theoretical and experimental RCSs of the TCR for various window sizes and various backscattering coefficient levels of the adjacent area. Finally, we propose the minimum size of the integration area and the maximum level of the backscattering coefficients for the adjacent area.

Various commercial vinegars of high-strength acidity (10% or more of total acidity) were investigated to compare their physicochemical and antioxidant properties. The total acidity of double-strength vinegars was relatively lower than triple-strength vinegars. Irrespective of the acidity, sugar and reducing sugar content ranged from $7.00{\sim}10.80^{\circ}Bx$ and 1.32~3,885.90 mg%, respectively. Free sugars were mainly composed of fructose and glucose, and were relatively high in double-strength vinegars. The content of acetic acid (a principal organic acid in vinegars) increased with acidity, but oxalic acid was not identified in commercial high-strength acidity vinegars. Double-strength vinegars using malt extracts were the highest in free amino acid content, showing 24 kinds of amino acids. The content of total phenolics and flavonoids was highest in apple vinegars of double-strength acidity, which affected the scavenging ability of DPPH and ABTS radicals. Overall, the quality of high-strength acidity vinegars was affected by its content and production methods, and double-strength acidity vinegar using apples showed the best antioxidant activities.
This study was carried out to know the effect of seed position on the size, contents of ginsenosides, free sugars, and fatty acids in ginseng seeds. Seed positions were classified by the three portions as center, middle and border in a seed cluster. Seed weight at center was light remarkably in comparison with those of seeds of at border and middle. The weight of embryo plus endosperm was in same tendency as seed weight. Percentage of single-seeded berry was smaller than that of the double-seeded, and the triple-seeded was rare. The percentage of the single-seeded increased from the border to the center. Size of the single -seeded seed was smaller than that of the double- seeded. Rate of dehiscence did not differ among different seed positions. The major ginsenosides in seed were Re, Rb$_1$, and Rb$_2$. The contents of Rb$_2$ and total saponin were highest in border, least in center, but reversed in Re and Rd. Major free sugars in seed were sucrose and glucose. The sucrose content was gradually decreased according to the seed position from border to center. Major fatty acids in the seed were oleic and linoleic acid. Contents of palmitic and linolenic acid were different according to the seed position.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of three functional performance tests and one-legged hop test and to establish the reference data of the three functional performance tests of the active young Korean men. Materials and methods: We performed five tests on 40 normal subjects such as one-legged hop test (single hop, triple hop) and the three functional performance tests (carioca test, co-contraction test, shuttle run test). The mean age was 28.4 years. The mean score of Tegner activity scale was 6.2 and Lysholm score 98.2 Mean value and standard deviation were obtained. The correlation of age, height and weight with the results, the relationship between FPT and one-legged hop test and the mean difference between dominant and non-dominant limbs were statistically calculated. Results: All data obtained were normally distributed and there were no significant relationship between age, height and weight. The paired t-test of one legged hop test showed no statistical significance between dominant and non-dominant limbs. The results of one legged hop test had strong relationship with functional performance test. Conclusion; The three functional performance tests can be a useful functional test in ACL-insufficient athletes. Our results can be used as normal reference data of the normal active Korean men.
Field disease incidences of squash virus diseases in Jeonnam province were estimated to be 76.1% and of delayed planting on August-September (retarding culture) and on February-March (semi-forcing culture) on glass house were 55.0% and 0%, respectively, in 2000. Disease incidences of individual squash plant within a field were 100% and 3.6%, respectively, in wild culture and retarding culture. Total of 61 samples suspected to be infected with viruses were collected in 2000 and tested by RT-PCR using specific oligonulceotide primer sets designed for the detection of Cucumber green mottle mosaic virus (CGMMV), Kyuri green mottle mosaic virus (KGMMV), Zucchini yellow mosaic virus (ZYMV), Papaya ring spot virus (PRSV), Watermelon mosaic virus (WMV), and Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV). Each specific primer set for WMV, ZYMV, and PRSV amplified expected size of DNA fragments from 16, 10, and 2 samples in wild culture, respectively. Double or triple infection were observed in 7 samples tested. In contrast, each specific primer set for WMV, ZYMV, and PRSV confirmed virus infection from 7, 6, and 6 samples, respectively, in samples collected from semi-forcing culture. Double infection of WMV and PRSV was observed in only one sample. However, no DNA fragment was amplified from RT-PCR using CGMMV, KGMMV, and CMV specific oligonucleotide primer sets indicating no CGMMV, KGMMV, or CMV infection in squash fields in Jeonnam province in 2000.

Electronic industry had required the finer size and the higher performance of the device. Therefore, 3-D die stacking technology such as TSV (through silicon via) and micro-bump had been used. Moreover, by the development of the 3-D die stacking technology, 3-D structure such as chip to chip (c2c) and chip to wafer (c2w) had become practicable. These technologies led to the appearance of HBM (high bandwidth memory). HBM was type of the memory, which is composed of several stacked layers of the memory chips. Each memory chips were connected by TSV and micro-bump. Thus, HBM had lower RC delay and higher performance of data processing than the conventional memory. Moreover, due to the development of the IT industry such as, AI (artificial intelligence), IOT (internet of things), and VR (virtual reality), the lower pitch size and the higher density were required to micro-electronics. Particularly, to obtain the fine pitch, some of the method such as copper pillar, nickel diffusion barrier, and tin-silver or tin-silver-copper based bump had been utillized. TCB (thermal compression bonding) and reflow process (thermal aging) were conventional method to bond between tin-silver or tin-silver-copper caps in the temperature range of 200 to 300 degrees. However, because of tin overflow which caused by higher operating temperature than melting point of Tin ($232^{\circ}C$), there would be the danger of bump bridge failure in fine-pitch bonding. Furthermore, regulating the phase of IMC (intermetallic compound) which was located between nickel diffusion barrier and bump, had a lot of problems. For example, an excess of kirkendall void which provides site of brittle fracture occurs at IMC layer after reflow process. The essential solution to reduce the difficulty of bump bonding process is copper to copper direct bonding below $300^{\circ}C$. In this study, in order to improve the problem of bump bonding process, copper to copper direct bonding was performed below $300^{\circ}C$. The driving force of bonding was the self-annealing properties of electrodeposited Cu with high defect density. The self-annealing property originated in high defect density and non-equilibrium grain boundaries at the triple junction. The electrodeposited Cu at high current density and low bath temperature was fabricated by electroplating on copper deposited silicon wafer. The copper-copper bonding experiments was conducted using thermal pressing machine. The condition of investigation such as thermal parameter and pressure parameter were varied to acquire proper bonded specimens. The bonded interface was characterized by SEM (scanning electron microscope) and OM (optical microscope). The density of grain boundary and defects were examined by TEM (transmission electron microscopy).
