This study examines the view of global trends in the Arctic Shipping. It is also provides a framework for understanding how participated in Arctic. The trends that had made it a centre of global attention. Surge of interest in its economy and politics has increased. That surge was driven by three things. Political and business agreements in the Arctic and with Arctic states, a trend that is likely to continue as the Arctic warms.

Mongolia is aiming at connect and expand global trade to third countries using Russia, China and East Asian ports. Also, trying to evolve infrastructure and super-frastructure in international maritime transportation. This paper presents maritime development trends in Mongolia and focuses on discussing the current situation of international maritime plan and points out some issues currently facing by the policy to develop promoting the country's maritime businesses. Finally, this paper presents some future directions for developing the maritime transportation in Mongolia.

Assessment technologies regarding the perceptual quality of images and videos have been receiving significant attention, as they serve as essential tools for monitoring and improving the quality of various media services. In this paper, we review the technology trends of recent studies on the perceptual quality assessment of images and videos, and discuss the future direction of this research field.

The purpose of this study is to report the research trends of Korean medicine treatment for alopecia areata. We investigated the studies on Korean medicine treatments for alopecia areata via searching 4 web databases of Korea. 13 papers were selected, and we classified them according to publication year, published journals, the types of study, research subject, the methods of treatment, confirmation of recurrence, methods of evaluation, and institutional review board(IRB). We analyzed a total of 13 clinical studies of Korean medicine on alopecia areata based on various criteria and reviewed the research trends. Based on this, we suggested points to be improved and supplemented when conducting clinical research on alopecia areata in the future. Clinical studies on alopecia areata started to be published in 2001, and acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, herbal medicines, etc. were used as treatment methods for alopecia areata. Most of the clinical studies on alopecia areata were case studies, so it is thought that various types of clinical studies are needed. In addition, it is necessary to confirm the recurrence of alopecia areata and to improve the awareness of research ethics.

The purpose of this study is to construct the fundamental data for setting a valid viewpoint as the base of landscape planning and management practices. To do this, we analyzed the preceding dissertations and landscape plan reports which presented the selection criteria of viewpoint. 37 research samples containing the criteria of viewpoint were investigated. The selection criteria and trends of viewpoint were analyzed as follows : Firstly, by analyzing the preceding researches we were able to grasp the criteria that had been used to set viewpoint. Secondly, we investigated the differences in criteria of selecting the viewpoint according to the research type, research time and view object. Finally, we analyzed the trends of viewpoint selection criteria and classified the characteristics and selection criteria of viewpoint based on an overview of the research content. It can be concluded that the criteria of viewpoint are intimately linked to the view object, the purpose and role of viewpoint which is related to the landscape planning and management practices. According to this study, we can find that the selection criteria and trends of viewpoint have been used in the research related to the view plane following the 1990's. Hereafter, additional research and the comparisons with researches abroad is necessary to set the objective selection criteria of viewpoint.

This study aims to review the research trends of landscape construction and materials, and to discover the research characteristics in Korea. The research scope was limited to the 905 articles lin the Journal of Korean Institute of Landscape Architecture between 1973 and 2003. The results of the research were as follows. The number of articles concerning landscape materials and construction were few(5.8％), compared to other research fields. The articles were categorized by sequences of the structures, the construction and management, the development of engineering and the development of materials. The articles concerning construction and construction management were categorized into 3 types of quality management; construction and materials, the cost estimation and the work classification and processes. The soils was studied together with plants suited to such soil characteristics as layer, structure, and composition.

The purpose of this study was to suggest the academic roles and direction of the successful aging in journal papers. For this purpose the trends of research on the successful aging were analyzed by means of reviewing articles published from 2002 to 2012 in journal papers of korea. Data were collected by using keyword library database. 86 papers was to analyze to find out overall the research streaming of theme, method and subject. As results, there were increased considerably the number of research in successful aging every year. Secondly, the study of successful aging had been performed more in social welfare. The research trends had focused on the successful aging, but the research had some limitations in simply introducing the definition and general plan.

The admission officer system that is discussed by research topic was introduced just six years ago. So, domestic journals for research trends analysis of admission officer system are not enough. From the time of the end of 1st government financial support project (2007~2012) for admission officer system, it is important things that to summarize the results of study and to look at the implications. The contents of this study will help that other researchers search the study directions. The implication of the research are as follows. First, we can see that range of research is widening and research is advancing. Second, the journals that related to high school will be come out more frequently. Finally, after accumulation of data, in-depth study analysis will be also come out.

For the purpose of this analysis of trends in research on creativity of preschool children, 98 volumes with articles on the creativity of preschool children were selected from 6 reliable Korean academic journals. Analysis was for year, content, research methods, research design, and subjects. Results showed that (1) the changes by year were that the number of qualitative researches increased from 4 articles in 1998 to 24 articles in 2006. (2) The greatest amount of research content concerned educational methods for the generation of creativity. (3) Most research methods were empirical studies. (4) The most used measurement scale was the Korean Comprehensive Creativity Test for Young Children (Jeon, 2000). (5) Most data analyses were by t-test.

Wireless communication for train control is an active research field. The World Railway Federation in Europe developed GSM-R, which integrates the GSM-based voice call standard and train control signals. To provide advanced railway services, the LTE-R wireless communication system was developed in Korea for passenger services and wireless image information required by the railroad industry. Recently, direct communication technology for autonomous train driving has been studied to decrease the driving interval, and research is being conducted on a hyperloop train control system that runs at a maximum speed of 1,220km/h in a subvacuum environment of 0.001 atmosphere. In this paper, we summarize the trends in wireless communication technologies used for GSM-R/LTE-R railway systems. For future wireless communication in railway systems, we discuss autonomous train driving and the hyperloop railway control system, define wireless communication technology, and discuss trends in domestic and foreign technologies.
