The Chosun Exhibition was held in 1929 and the Architectural Association of Chosun(AAC) displayed model houses fur the fair. These model houses represented the new housing trend of the Chosun society, so this research was necessary to find out the facts. The main materials used for this research were issues from 'Chosun and Architecture'. The objects of this research was to find out the activity of the AAC and to classify the displayed model houses according to the structure, plan and interior. These three model houses depicted the improved housing designs at that time. Improved housing designs also depicted the convenience of everyday life, hygiene, improvement of facilities and the application of modem lift to that era. Therefore, these three houses would be revaluated as new models of houses for the Chosun society under education activity by the AAC.

Today's consumers have the behavior of purchasing that is self-value-centered and distinctly goal-conscious. Because of this trend the new shops that sell well have the characteristics that effectely transfers strong store-image. The starting point of selling is showing. To appeal to the sense of more consumers and to facilitate the act of consumption you should express more surely store and image of merchandise in the limited space of sales room. Especially in the compound living goods store which sell various items of products the role of presenting the whole merchandises attractive and organized is of utmost importance and the interior planning of show rooms and displaying the room according to the actual sales. According to this the goal of this study is to create not only the convenience of purchasing but also distinguished store image through organizing show rooms according to themes as a part of VMD strategy.

According to global trend of the expanding need of high-quality automobiles, the usage of small precise worm consisting of gearing part for motors to actuate convenience modules has increased rapidly. Precision of those worms has very sensitive characteristic to motor performance and noise. Forming process has been generally used to manufacture worms because of its mass productivity. However, it has problems such as deformation due to residual stress and wear of dies. Planetary milling and side milling are among alternatives using cutting tools. To overcome those problems the two machining methods have some contrast features in the sense of tool numbers and cutting mechanism. In this paper, machinability of both methods was compared in terms of cutting force, precision and cycle time.

Food tourism is recognized as a unique form of tourism product that combines traditions and regional characteristics and has become an international trend. However, research on food tourism in Korea is limited. Thus, this study investigated the selection attributes of food tourism in Italy, France and Japan. A qualitative study was conducted among 34 foreign food tourism experts on food tourism in their respective countries to find possible directions for Korean food tourism. As a result of this study, 'Food attraction', 'Traditionality', 'Locality', 'Convenience', 'Cultural Characteristics', and 'Appropriateness of price' were the attributes identified from the expert's comments. Marketing strategies such as improving quality of service and food itself, quality of service, developing diverse food tourism product, and building marketing channel will improve the status of food tourism in Korea.

This study was carried out to investigate the effect of changes in child care technology on mother-child contact by using all sorts of literature such as diaries, documents or statistical data. Child care technologies began to change during the 1960's. Diverse goods and services such as baby dry milk, paper diapers and child care centers have made child care easier and saved a great deal of time. This has also allowed women to participate in labor markets easily despite rearing children. But maternal contact with children have declined due to new goods and services and this trend is especially prevalent in early childhood. It could be supported that the convenience of rearing rather than the needs of children like as attachment to maternity primarily was considered in technological change. From this results it was suggested that we should develop the alternative child care technologies which better reflect children's needs.

This paper aimed for numerical simulation of complicated gas turbine combustor with swirler. For the convenience of numerical analysis, fuel nozzle and air linear hole areas of secondary and dilution zone, which are issued to jet stream, were simplified to equivalent areas of annular type. In other to solve these problems, imaginary source terms which are corresponded to supplied fuel amount were added to those of governing equation. Chemical equilibrium model of infinite reaction rate and $k-{\epsilon}-g$ model with the consideration of density fluctuation were applied. As the result, swirl intensity contributed to mixing of supplied fuel and air, and to speed up the flame velocity than no swirl condition. Temperature profiles were higher than experimental results at the upstream and lower at the downstream, but total energy balance was accomplished. As these properties showed the similar trend qualitatively, simplified simulation method was worth to apply to complicated combustor for predicting combustion characteristics.

Because steel frame has own characteristics as easy to work and structural safety, it is being increased application by the trend of construction industry has been more higher and larger in today. However, steel frame works have potential problem, so fundamental solution is needed for preventing serious accidents. Recently, self-supported steel joint for enhancing safety is developed in Korea, but this system has some limitations as convenience of work, retainment of consistent productivity. For complementing this limitations, we developed the new system named Automated wire control machine. This study is performed productivity of steel frame work by new system. The basis data for analysing productivity is collected from field test.

As the industrial civilization develops, humankind can expect to receive the convenience and richness. But the various by-product which it leaves as the pollution threatens the natural environment. Especially, noise and vibration of these pollutions are causative of the mental instability and hard of hearing. In addition, they cause the performance degradation of the precision instrument and the early rising fatigue fracture of parts of precision instrument from the industry side. So recently interest in the damping technology and damping alloy is increasing. Therefore, in order to grasp the advanced technology of the damping alloy, we analyzed global techniques and patents information in this paper.

The purpose of this paper is to define WiFi LDT(Location Determination Technology) and Service available for mobile wireless network. This paper introduces positioning technology such as Basic Technology Element and QoS(Quality of Service) etc. of WPS(WiFi Positioning System) for mobile wireless network. The LDT and wireless positioning technology in order to determine the position of terminal when mobile based positioning service is provided, and by providing service with postioning technology, it will not only provide convenience to the users or subscribers but also contribute to the activation of LBS(Location Based Services) industries.
