In this investigation, the following study was carried out for an experimental proposal of the knit item lists which were not actualized due to lack of studies. First of all, we have put the knit item titles that have been used through the document investigation, into the lists in order to clarify the original item list. Furthermore, we have pointed out the problems and the areas to be developed in the original item lists, and proposed twenty new knit item lists. By defining the design traits of each item, we have established item list which could be classified more systematically. As a result, the knit item titles of twenty newly proposed item titles are knit pull over, knit pull over top, knit top, knit t shirt, knit shirt, knit polo shirt, knit blouse, knit vest, knit hood, knit jumper, knit jacket, knit coat, knit cardigan, knit ensemble, knit cape, knit shawl, knit bikini, knit one-piece, knit pants, and knit skirt. Secondly, in order to investigate the possibility of practical use of twenty knit item lists proposed by this study, we have applied anova with repeated measurement for foreign fashion collection knit item trends of the past 10 years based on the proposed item lists. As a result, four items classified as top, shirt, cardigan, and pants had similar changes in the trend for last 10 years in S/S season while eleven items classified as pull over, pull over top, blouse, vest, jacket, coat, cardigan, ensemble, cape, shawl, and one-piece had similar trend changes for F/W season. The first significance of this study is on the experimental proposal of knit item list which could be used in the actual clothing industry and academic field. Furthermore, by defining the design traits of each knit item, it sublated the confusions brought by vocabularies in design of knit products and distribution in the industry perspective, and it made it possible to categorize the knit items correctly in knit design analysis and knit design education in academic field. The second significance shows that this study brought about positive results in the possibility of industrial academic practical use of proposed list by indicating that most of the knit designs appeared in the foreign collections in the past ten years could be correctly classified through investigational analysis.

The ethnic image in modern fashion can be interpreted as a trend of post-modernism, which appeared after modernism's established style. It has relativity, pluralism and variety, and it tries to revive style of the past. This makes style that borrows and combines image and style of different era and culture as distinctive feature, and in turn is expressed by a new image that is combined with the country's clothes. Also, thanks to the customers who are tired of artificiality and convenience, gift of modern science and technology, simple and natural sensitive marketing and being 'raw' are getting popular as new trend. Today's ethnic image is not merely borrowing visual, superficial image of culture and clothes of other ethnic group, but pursuing natural as purely created by human senses rather than being polished. In terms of ethnic image's formative beauty and aesthetic value, foreign and domestic collections are compared. But for domestic image, only Korean ones are researched, and for foreign designer's fashion image, there are ethnic styles of Japan, China and Korea. Although the documents of domestic designers that I investigated is not sufficient, canonic simple being of oriental image that is seen by the westerners is summarized.

L/C allows the exporter to have a bank's payment undertaking against shipping documents required by L/C. This means that the exporter can take export proceeds from a L/C issuing bank regardless of importer's payments and therefore the L/C better mitigate importer's credit risk compared to remittance and collections. Recently the use of L/C has been on down trend in line with increasing use of T/T, causing a big change of payment system. This tells that the payment method change in Korea is positive as the change also happens same in developed countries. This however gives more buyer's credit risk to exporters and therefore a systematic solution to this negative effect is required. In Korea, export credit insurance has been widely used to cover the buyer's credit risk. But the export credit insurance is limited because of lack of government's financial support and strict evaluation of buyer and exporter. Now Korea is ranked 10the largest trading country and therefore the exporters shall find another source for credit risk protection elsewhere. And as such this paper suggest International Factoring as a tool for the credit risk protection. The International Factoring gives advantages to the exporter in terms of credit protection and advances by purchasing account receivables on a without recourse basis.

The purpose of this research is for confirming that fashion study has to do with industry through the developing of fashion goods which is related to a trend as a cultural code. Recently fashion design trend is focused on 'retro', 'Retro' is the one of the important trends in this century not only fashion but also cultural industry, Therefore, in this research, the processing about development of decorative vest design as fashion goods was showed by using retro image. For this process, research steps were as follows : 1. Confirming the meaning of 'retro fashion'. 2. Studying about the flow of retro fashion from 1960s to 1990s. 3, Finding the characteristics of retro fashion design and the image through abroad and domestic collections from 2000 to 2003. 4. Designing and making vest using new concept from the leading images. Through this processed, it was find that retro fashion design had three images : vintage image, ethnic image and romantic image. Then three vests were made by a concept 'a piece of handicraft' using handcraft technique such as beading, patch-work, fringing, scratching, stitching, mixing which were used in retro fashion design characteristics.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of playful aspects through the research into characteristics and playful expressional tendency that are expressed in the contemporary fashion illustration. This study covered from 1995, the beginning point of play trend spreading, to 2006 and the fashion magazines, illustrator's collections, and about 1800 pieces of work which have been revealed on the internet web site were collected. At the next stage, 443 pieces of work were selected by researcher for a questionnaire. As a result of the questionnaire, ultimately frequency was more than n=5, so it examined playful expression characteristics, the methods and the effects of the modern fashion illustration based on 335 pieces of work(75.6% of total sample) which were selected by the majority of expert group. It showed the biggest part of playful expression tendency in the modern fashion illustration was 'simplification', and second one was 'exaggeration'. 'Immature expression' and 'fantastic expression' which are included in kidult expression were next. Hopefully, this study would be helpful for creative expression of the fashion illustration which is fit for spreading play trend in modern society.

The purpose of this study was to understand fashion trend and characteristics by finding out the influences of crossover on modern fashion coordination through the identification of crossover coordination trend and characteristics. With a review of the literature, this study analyzed crossover coordination according to the types of expression methodology, periodical changes and designer's tastes that appeared through the collections of the six representative designers from 1996 to 2004. The results of this study were as follows. As a result of analysis of our sources, we realized that crossover coordination was shown most frequently in 1997 and Christian Dior was the designer who used crossover coordination most frequently. Among lots of crossover coordination cases, most of the cases are the coordination with different materials. In our results, trends of crossover coordination in materials appeared again about every five years cycle. Christian Dior combined different elements through silhouette and material, Dolce & Gabbana combined images and Jean Paul Gaultier combined different elements in the aspect of purpose and wearing configuration.

Water related disasters frequently occur in these days due to global warming and climatic change. This give us that the trend of mal-distribution of available water resources would be increased and the environment of water resources management getting much worse. Therefore the establishment of the effective strategy should be required for water resources management urgently. In this paper the hydrological characteristics and corresponding social phenomena of the drought events in Geum river basin are inspected in depth. The word, social phenomena, means not the quantitative damage but the qualitative social influences and its main characters are analyzed by the collections of the mass media articles. This study will be helpful in prognosticating the future drought occurrence and the establishment of counterplan to them.

The size of software collection at any organization is increasing rapidly with the use of computer becomes popular for various applications. This trend points out the importance of proper 'catalog'or 'directory' for software collections, however, only 'title list' is found in practice. The problem of no proper directory with software collection would be more serious than the problem with book collection since browsing is not possible with softwares. Many of the expensive softwares will be a waste of money to purchase and to hold if no catalog about them is provided. In this paper the difficulties in applying AACR2 to software cataloging and the most important characteristic of computer software are discussed as well as presenting the necessity of localized information due to the requirement of a machine to be used, the difficulty using subject-based-call-number scheme, an expected way of searching software to design a location indicator, software qualifications to be cataloged, and so on. In addition, an analysis of randomly selected softwares after a cataloging practice is followed.

The purpose of this comparative study what is the way to express difference fashion design between Japanese fashion designers and Western fashion designers in the 1990s. The design data were 422 pictures of contemporary fashion designs which represented the Japanism style design from fashion collections and analyzed by literature study and classification categories. The results were as follows : 1) Early general Japanism expression was directly borrowed from traditional fashion design elements and has changed indirectly with fashion trend. 2) Japanese fashion designers have used color, fabric, and pattern than shape to express Japanese traditional images. 3) Western fashion designers have directly borrowed aesthetic elements of Kimono design, that is, layering. bending, neck-line, sleeve, and traditional Japanese men's wear to express Japanism.

The purpose of this paper is to study the initiatives on digital collection and development in engineering college libraries in the Rayalaseema Region of Andhra Pradesh. Eighty-one engineering college libraries in Rayalaseema Region have been surveyed to assess the initiatives taken on digital collection and development. This paper highlights opinions of librarians on most preferred digital materials and various digital resources acquainted with their library. The digital library initiatives cover a variety of activities starting from the digital collection building, digitization, digital collection, maintenance, and digital preservation. It is found that 34.57% of libraries are in the process of building digital collections, which is an encouraging trend among Engineering Educational Institutions in Rayalaseema Region.
