It is very important that we try to keep our traditional historical assets in the original form for a long time. Seoggur-Am has a very long and old history of about 1200 years. Yet, for the past several years there are many factors ruinning this historical treasure. Recently, specialist are new scientifically examining Seoggur-Am and evaluating its current condition, If you only judge these historical assets from the exterior structural environmental approach your scientific conclusion will not be complete. No one has studied Seoggur-Am from the viewpoint of indoor environmental climate. Therefore, I have surveyed and prepared a report of investigation as well as countermeasure so to understand the impact of indoor environmental climate on Seoggur-Am. The purpose of this paper is to first survey the existing research data based on exterior structural environment. Secondly, closely evaluate the new data of Seoggur-Am from the viewpoint of indoor environmental climate.

This article investigates and evaluates the relics settled from the center of the chest of triad Buddhist statue which is located in the temple of Wangryong in KyungJu as a whole. Especially, it focuses on the evaluation of the value of classical book in the course of research. As a result, it is revealed that classical books, such as Dohaekumeangkyung, Myobubyeonhwakyungsammae chambub, Jangsukyung, Seonjongyounggajib are as important printing much as to be national treasure.

We analysis the structure of Song $I-y\u{o}ng's$ Armillary Clock, a Korean National Treasure (No. 230) that is displayed at Korea University Museum. This Armillary Clock is only one remained in east Asia, but does not working because some parts had been broken away. We measured this remains and reconstructed a working model of the astronomical armillary sphere system of the his armillary clock, which system is consisted of Solar and lunar moving devices.

The epigraphy is a text on metal or a text on stone. The value of epigraphy can be used to identify historical facts of the past. It is a good record to understand the past life and culture. But it is difficult to decode the character of the epigraphy which has been exposed to the outdoor for a long time. In this study, the proposed techniques are consisted of 3 parts: (1)The surface division into information area, non- information area, and undifferentiated area. And then, (2) The selection of points in the non-information area and finding a reference plane with the minimum error. (3) Flattening the points perpendicular to the reference plane and decoding characters on information area. This research contributes to narrow the scope of a particular letter and to read the controversial letters on the Pohang Jungsoengri Silla Stone Monument(Korea's national treasure number 318).

Current city that we live in exist many modern architecture have historical meaning and high value. This modern architecture is disappearing because study - definite thesis of concept, division of the time - of preservation wasn't advanced fully and we have the feeling of being victimzed for Japanese imperialism, in addition to lack of recognition for cultural treasure value. These days, a growing number of people tend to focus on preservation and uses of cultural properties including mordern architectures. Therefore, this study aims to figure out constructive uses of mordern architectures by purposing analysis and preservation methods with a selected architectures which deserve to be conserved.

The growth of subaerial microalgae on historic buildings or various cultural properties causes discoloration and physico-chemical deterioration of the surfaces. We collected a subaerial chlorophyte, Chlorella sp., from the stone Standing Buddha statue at Jungwon Miruksazi, which is a national treasure of Korea, and found dormant, thickwalled spores with regular pentagonal ornamentation along with the vegetative Chlorella cells. The morphology of Chlorella resting spores was compared to that of the other green algal resting cells. The ornamented spores and smooth-walled vegetative cells revived in 2 weeks in a liquid freshwater medium and started reproduction by autospores. To our knowledge, the ability of Chlorella to form ornamented dormant spores in drought condition was not previously recorded. The ornamentation of spores would supplement taxonomic characteristics of this genus.

The fire of Sungnyemun, National Treasure of No.1, gave to the Korean people and fire investigators big pains. The aim of this study are the identification of combustion traces and fire patterns of wooden building fire, burned with an accelerator, after spraying flammable materials on the wooden floor through the field study observation. Also, in the case of the similar fire, these results will be as good references to fire investigators for accurate investigations.

A sensor modeling via artificial neural network is presented in this paper. The optical sensor has been designed to treasure absolute 3-dimensional positions and orientations of objects in 6-DOF. The method utilizes a triangular pyramidal mirror having an equilateral cross-sectional shape referred as 3-facet mirror. The mirror has three lateral reflective surfaces inclined 45 degrees to its bottom surface. The 3-facet mirror is mounted on the object whose 6-DOF motion is to be measured. As development of information technology, companies stress the need of knowledge management. Companies construct ERP system including knowledge management. But, it is not easy to formalize knowledge in organization. They experience that constructing information system help knowledge management. Now, we focus on engineering knowledge. Because engineering data contains experts' experience and know-how in its own, engineering knowledge is a treasure house of knowledge. Korean shipyards are leader of world shipbuilding industry. They have accumulated a store of knowledges and data. But, they don't have data minning tool to utilize accumulated data. This paper treats development of data minning tools for the utilization of shipbuilding knowledge based on genetic programming (GP).
