전시 최단수송경로 선정 (Determination of the Shortest Transportation Path in Wartime)

  • In transportation network problems, it is often desirable to select multiple number of the shortect paths. On problems of finding these paths, algorithms have been developed to choose single shortest path, k-shortest paths and k-shortest paths via p-specified nodes in a network. These problems consider the time as the main factor. In wartime, we must consider availability as well as time to determine the shortest transportation path, since we must take into account enemy's threat. Therefore, this paper addresses the problem of finding the shortest transportation path considering both time and availability. To accomplish the objective of this study, values of k-shortest paths are computed using the algorithm for finding the k-shortest paths. Then availabilties of those paths are computed through simulation considering factors such as rates of suffering attack, damage and repair rates of the paths. An optimal path is selected using any one of the four decision rules that combine the value and availability of a path.

  • Generally, speed control system is used to control the elevator door. The whole speed profile must be installed in the speed controller of the door control system. However, it is not easy to modify the speed profile when door opening size and time are changed. In this paper, the making speed profile is discussed by the door opening size and time. The position control algorithms of PMSM for elevator door system are compared with general speed control, position control method with speed controller, and position control with speed command feedforward compensation by simulation using MATLAB/SIMULINK.

Object-Transportation Control of Cooperative AGV Systems Based on Virtual-Passivity Decentralized Control Algorithm

  • Automatic guided vehicle in the factory has an important role to advance the flexible manufacturing system. In this paper, we propose a novel object-transportation control algorithm of cooperative AGV systems to apply decentralized control to multiple AGV systems. Each AGV system is under nonholonomic constraints and conveys a common object-transportation in a horizontal plain. Moreover it is shown that cooperative robot systems ensure stability and the velocities of augmented systems convergence to a scaled multiple of each desired velocity field for cooperative AGV systems. Finally, the application of proposed virtual passivity-based decentralized control algorithm via system augmentation is applied to trace a circle. Finally, the simulation and experimental results for the object-transportation by two AGV systems illustrates the validity of the proposed virtual-passivity decentralized control algorithm.

  • The project for "Development of Advanced Spent Fuel Management Technology" has a plan of a demonstration for the Advanced Management Process in the hot cell of IMEF. The Advanced Management Process are being developed for efficient and safe management of spent fuels. For the demonstration, several devices which are used to safely transport and handle nuclear materials without scattering have been derived by analyzing the Advanced Management Process, object nuclear material and modules of process equipment and performing graphical simulation of transportation/handling by computers. For verification, powder transportation vessel and handling device have been designed and manufactured. And several tests such as transporting, grappling, rotating the vessel have been performed. Also, the design requirements of transportation/handling equipment have been analyzed based on test results and process studies. The developed design requirements in this research will be used as the design data for the Advanced Management Process.

  • Phase-shift fullbridge (PSFB) converter detects the current in the primary side for operation of the peak current mode controller (PCMC). The PCMC must used the slope compensation to solve the problem when the effective duty is over 0.5. The voltage response of PSFB converters has slower than that of buck converter because of slew interval even if the voltage controllers of two converters have same bandwidth. To overcome these problems, this work proposes a compensating method of current reference considering slew interval and fast response in the PSFB converter. The effectiveness of the proposed method is proven using the PSIM simulation and experiment.

  • The bus should supply an equal service to the whole community as feeder trip. However the existing bus route can not supply an effective feeder service in spite of the changes in the latent demand by the variety of regional structural change. This study aimed to establish the concept which frames the bus operation and management to cope with the latent demand to the bus. This study tackled this evidence by analyzing the transportation problems in terms of the urban growth emphasizing the following issues ; First, the strategy to improve the bus operation Second the land use control appropriate for the public transportation network Third economical range to justify the bus operation Second, the land use control appropriate for the public transportation network Third, economical range to justify the bus operation Fourth, the allowance for the private transportation mode On the latter part, the difference on the bus operation was compared to determine the range within which the bus operation could be justified. This study would provide some implications to improve the management for bus operation and fundamental information to develop the bus operation system.

  • A pulse-width modulation (PWM) method for common mode noise reduction in a PWM inverter connected to a single-phase grid is proposed in this study. The extensively used conventional switching method may experience common mode voltage problems, which generate current leakage and electromagnetic induction problems. In the proposed switching method, the neutral point of the output voltage is always fixed at both ends of the input voltage to reduce common mode noise. The validity of the proposed method is proven through simulation and experimental results.

  • The real time simulator for testing the high power inverter unit of a PM synchronous motor is proposed. The power converter of the real time simulator can replaces the dynamo test equipment that consists of a PMSM(PM synchronous motor) and load unit. It is verified by the simulation that the real time simulator has a similar electrical and mechanical characteristics of the PM synchronous motor.

  • In urban area, since multipath and signal attenuations frequently occur due to street trees, street lights and buildings, it is difficult to obtain accurate navigation solution using GPS. As these problems also impact negatively on the INS/GPS coupled system, implementing advanced transportation systems such as autonomous navigation system and Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) become quite hard. For this reason, to alleviate deterioration of navigation system performance in urban area, direction information extraction algorithm using vision system is proposed in this paper. 2D Finite Rate of Innovation (FRI) technique is applied to extract lane edges. The proposed technique is simulated using road images and feasibility of proposed technique is analyzed through the simulation results.

  • In this paper, phase current ripples and torque ripples of six-phase PM synchronous motor controlled by interleaved PWM are analyzed. The cause of the increase of phase current ripple in the interleaved PWM was mathematically analyzed based on the mutual inductance of stator windings and effective voltage vector. Simulation and experiment verified that the DQ current ripple and torque ripple can be reduced by interleaved PWM control. The FFT analysis of torque waveform confirmed that the magnitude of harmonic torque corresponding to double the PWM frequency was reduced.
