The widespread use of the Internet has led to the problem of intellectual property and copyright infringement. Digital rights management (DRM) technologies have been developed to protect digital content items. Digital content can be classified into static content (for example, text or media files) and dynamic content (for example, VOD or multicast streams). This paper deals with the protection of a multicast stream on set-top boxes connected to an IP network. In this paper, we examine the following design and architectural issues to be considered when applying DRM functions to multicast streaming service environments: transparent streaming service and large-scale user environments. To address the transparency issue, we introduce a 'selective encryption scheme'. To address the second issue, a 'key packet insertion scheme' and 'hierarchical key management scheme' are introduced. Based on the above design and architecture, we developed a prototype of a multicasting DRM system. The analysis of our implementation shows that it supports transparent and scalable DRM multicasting service in a large-scale user environment.

With rapid progresses in information technologies, managing enterprise network resources as a whole becomes more important. Telecommunication Management Network (TMN) has been used to integrate network elements. TMN is complex to develop and manage because it has a centralized management service. Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA) can overcome this complexity by the use of transparent distributed object processing mechanism. Therefore, the main objective of this paper is to integrate TMN service with CORBA. A network management repository is built for this integration. In addition, a prototype that can partially support network management service is implemented to illustrate the usefulness of this repository.

The Smart Music Learning Device(SMLD) presented in this paper constructs the display part by attaching the touch panel to both sides of the transparent panel. The main processing unit uses raspberry pie, and the operating system uses Android. On the transparent panel, music education contents are displayed, and on the touch panels 1 and 2, the inputs of learners and instructors are accepted. The signal input from the touch panels 1 and 2 controls the progress of the music education contents through a process in the main processing unit. This control process design and implement a two - sided panel - based interactive training algorithm. This device aims at musical education based on mutual understanding. Therefore, it conducts face-to-face education using music education contents presented through transparent panel. This allows the instructor to know in real time the response to the learner, thus improving the understanding of the learning and the quality of the education. Also, the learner's concentration can be improved.

The overall purposes of this study are to identify actions taken to counter predatory publishing practices as well as to propose an ICT-based model to detect such practices. The need to raise quantitative performance metrics to support career goals has created immense pressure on researchers to publish in the literature as frequently as possible. This "publish or perish" syndrome appears to be fueling a rise in scholarly journals and conferences that provide quicker and easier routes to publication. However, such avenues sometimes involve questionable academic practices with important ethical ramifications. One notable example is the proliferation of predatory publishing, including predatory journals and fake conferences. The widening impact of such activities is beginning to prompt academic societies, publishers, and institutions to take measures. This paper discusses the issues on predatory publishing practices, and some of the actions taken by various stakeholders to address these practices. In order to build a transparent and sustainable scholarly publishing ecosystem, this study highlights multi-dimensional and specific solutions, including reforms to research ethics codes, research management rules, and legal protection from exploitative practices. This paper proposes an ICT-based cooperative model for monitoring of predatory publishers as a potential solution to create a sustainable and transparent infrastructure for a scholarly publication system guarding against misconduct in publishing practices.

Nowadays, diverse mass media discovers and introduces outstanding management cases of apartment complexes to induce vital competitions of constructors and active participation of residents to apartment management. This study statistically analyzed the management issues of outstanding apartment complexes that have been introduced by mass media with lexical criteria to examine the characteristics of their exemplary management. The key issues of outstanding apartment management are summarized as: efficient management of convenient facilities for residents, community activities based on residents' participation, and maintenance of pleasant living environments through transparent management. Also, the result of the relation arrangement of co-occurrence word from a Social Network Analysis included three key concepts of multi-family housing management - Maintenance Management, Operating Management, and Community Life Management - with emphasis on 'residents' and 'apartment complexes.' However, Operating Management was relatively deemphasized.

As e-Commerce and national public procurement have been enabled, needs of supplier management and evaluation system for national public procurement has been growing. Enterprises have constructed and operated supplier relationship management system, in order to automate and increase their supply chain processes by managing the strategic assessment of relationships with external partners. Recently, PPS(Public Procurement Service) in Korea is introducing the concept of SRM to ensure the fairness of public procurement and to strengthen the competitiveness of the national public procurement and public procurement. For this purpose, it is necessary to establish supplier evaluation management and decision support process to allow a transparent supplier selection. In this paper, we present an evaluation method for transparent and objective public procurement. We also present a method for purchase decision support.

Depaysement, suggested by the well-known surrealist Rene Magritte, has been used for and applied to many media. Application of depaysement through various media such as TV, commercial, and advertisement, attempted to provide interest by deviation from fixed ideas and visual shock, placing common objects in new and strange environment. The study applied screen projection mapping using a transparent screen and objet for different purposes to projection mapping media, applying depaysement to the artwork 'Illusion' in order to suggest visual pleasure, possibility as a new media, and projection mapping using transparent screen and objet. The work cases were suggested by applying expressive methods and effects according to three classifications - modulation of space, combination of conflicting images, and transformation and change of objects - in depaysement, and analyzed by types based on classification of the layout, typography, image, color, and time. Through 'Illusion,' new objet and characteristics of the media are applied and expanded by using projection mapping and depaysement.

The WO₃/Ag/WO₃ transparent thin films are fabricated by the RF magnetron sputtering. This has a transmittance of front and rear about 90% in the visible light range and surface resistance of 6.41Ω/□. In this paper, we analyzed the surface characteristics caused by the working pressure and O₂ plasma surface treatment to apply a transparent electrode that was prepared to the laminated structure with other materials. The working pressure was changed in the WO₃ film to 10mTorr, 7mTorr, and 5mTorr, it showed a lower than roughness of conventional ITO. In addition, by 55.5774 J/m² at 5mTorr, it shows the hydrophobic property with lower process pressure. O₂ plasma surface treatment was changed at the condisions of the RF power to 150W, 100W, and 50W and the process time to 240s, 180s, 120s, and 60s. The surface roughness are the maximum roughness(Rmax) 6.437nm and the average roughness(Rq) 0.827nm at RF power 150W, and the maximum roughness (Rmax) 6.880nm and the average roughness (Rq) 0.839nm at process time 240sec. It showed a lower value than the surface treatment. also about working pressure and process time is increased, it showed the hydrophobic.

The purpose of this study is to propose improved apartment management rules so that the inhabitants of apartment houses can manage their apartment in efficient and transparent manners. This study points out several problems of current management system and propose improved apartment management rules by analyzing misconducts of management office, related laws and regulations, standard apartment management rules, these and judicial decisions. Therefore, the inhabitants may refer to this study in establishment or amendment of their apartment management rules.
