This study presented the role of the counselor's transitional object through literature research, focusing on Winnicott's theory. In the process of development, infants experience anxiety when they move from absolute dependence to relative dependence with their mother. In this way, the counselor's role as an transitional object buffers separation anxiety and depressive anxiety about the loss experience, and mediates from the omnipotent fantasy to the real world. transitional objects are new objects and have a function of contributing to adaptation in reality. And it leads to the stage of separation and individualization through transitional object and transitional phenomena. It can be said that he acquires a sense of the real other that exists in order to create and destroy omnipotent, and to adapt to reality. A good enough mother makes the child's omnipotence meaningful. In this case, the true self helps the infant's weak self to grow and lead him to live his own life. When the mother fails to satisfy the infant's needs, her fantasies and spontaneous impulses are lacking. In other words, when the mother fails to reflect the infant's needs, the infant looks at her mother's mood, giving up her true self and creating a false self. The pathology of the absolute dependence phase is caused by the failure of a good enough mother's empathy and nurturing environment. At this time, the child experiences the collapse of the omnipotence illusion and experiences annihilation anxiety. Therefore, effective counseling can be carried out when providing a comfortable and stable environment by reducing separation anxiety and depressive anxiety of clients through the role of the counselor's transitional object in the counseling field.
The changes of vitamin A contents of transitional (7th day postpartum) and mature (60th day postpartum) milk were comparatively studied from 20 Korean lactating women to provide the basic information for recommended dietary allowances. The mean retinol contents($\mu\textrm{g}$/100$m\ell$) of transitional milk in primiparae and multiiparae were 79.71 (${\pm}$50.61) and 73.43(${\pm}$31.02) and those of mature milk in primiparae and multiparae were 44.73(${\pm}$19.03) and 38.25(${\pm}$17.63) respectively. The mean ${\beta}$-carotene contents ($\mu\textrm{g}$/100$m\ell$) of transitional milk in primiparae and multiparae were 10.44(${\pm}$7.43) and 14.15(${\pm}$11.81) and those of mature milk in primiparae and multiparae were 4.97(${\pm}$2.22) and 5.36(${\pm}$4.23) respectively. The total content of vitamin A($\mu\textrm{g}$/100$m\ell$) in transitional milk was 81.44(${\pm}$ 51.47) in primiparae and 75.79(${\pm}$31.99) in multiparae, and those of mature milk in primiparae and multiparae were 45.56(${\pm}$19.12) and 39.14(${\pm}$17.73) respectively. The vitamin A content decreased with increase of lactation period. The mean content of vitamin A between primiparae and multiparae during lactation was not significantly different (p>0.05) However, there was a significant difference in the total vitamin A contents according to lactation period. The average content($\mu\textrm{g}$/100$m\ell$) of retinol in lactating mothers delivered boys and girls were 74.45 (${\pm}$43.84) and 78.96(${\pm}$35.98) in transitional milk, 40.27(${\pm}$16.61) and 42.51(${\pm}$21.22) in mature milk, respectively. However, no significant difference was found between retinol contents contentscontentsin lactating mothers delivered boys and girls. The average contents($\mu\textrm{g}$/100$m\ell$) of ${\beta}$-carotene in lactating mothers delivered boys and girls were 11.34(${\pm}$4.27) in mature milk. The contents($\mu\textrm{g}$/100$m\ell$) of total vitamin A was significantly different (p<0.05) between transitional and mature milk the difference of total vitamin A content between lactating mothers delivered boys and girls. and primiparae and multiparae was not significant(p>0.05) As a result the contents of vitamin A, retinol and ${\beta}$-carotene in transitional and mature milk decreased according to the increase of lactation period.
The present experimental and numerical investigations are performed on the characteristics of transitional flow in a concentric annulus with a diameter ratio of 0.52, whose outer cylinder is stationary and inner one rotating. The pressure losses and skin-friction coefficients have been measured for the fully devel-oped flow of water and that of 0.2% CMC-water solution at a inner cylinder rotational speed of 0∼600 rpm, respectively. The transitional flow has been examined by the measurement of pressure losses to reveal the relation of the Reynolds and Rossby numbers with the skin-friction coefficients. The occurrence of transition has been checked by the gradient changes of pressure losses and skin-friction coefficients with respect to the Reynolds numbers. The increasing rate of skin-friction coefficient due to the rotation is uniform for laminar flow regime, whereas it is suddenly reduced for transitional flow regime and, then, it is gradually decreased for turbulent flow regime.
We report a case of 53-year-old man with plasmacytold transitional cell carcinoma of the urinary bladder, which may be confused with plasmacytoma. The patient initially presented with gross hematuria and dysuria for two months. Cystoscopy and radiologic studios revealed multiple intraluminal protruding masses on the urinary bladder invading perivesical fat tissue. After urinary cytologic examination and cystoscopic biopsy, radical cystectomy and pelvic lymph node dissections were done. Urine cytology showed single cells and poorly cohesive cells with round eccentric nuclei, bi-or multi-nucleation, indistinct nucleoli, coarse chromatin, and abundant basophilic cytoplasm within relatively clear background. The cytologic findings of tumor cells were similar to the plasma cells seen in plasmacytoma. The tumor of the bladder was composed on discohesive, individual cancer cells with diffuse pattern that simulated lymphoma or plasmacytoma. Immunohistochemical and electron microscopic studies clearly established the epithelial nature of the neoplasm. Recognition of this plasmacytoid type of transitional cell carcinoma of the urinary bladder can avoid the misdiagnosis.
In the present study, 2-D gas-kinetic flow solver on unstructured meshes was developed for flows from continuum to transitional regimes. The gas-kinetic BGK scheme is based on numerical solutions of the BGK simplification of the Boltzmann transport equation. In the initial reconstruction, the unstructured version of the linear interpolation is applied to compute left and right states along a cell interface. In the gas evolution step, the numerical fluxes are computed from the evaluation of the time-dependent gas distribution function around a cell interface. Two-dimensional compressible flow calculations were performed to verify the accuracy and robustness of the current gas-kinetic approach. Gas-kinetic BGK scheme was successfully applied to two-dimensional steady and unsteady flow simulations with strong contact discontinuities. Exemplary hypersonic viscous simulations have been conducted to analyze the performances of the gas-kinetic scheme. The computed results show fair agreement with other standard particle-based approaches for both continuum part and transitional part.
The experimental study concerns the characteristics of a transitional flow in a concentric annulus with a diameter ration of 0.52, whose outer cylinder is stationary and inner one rotating. The pressure drops and skin-friction coefficients have been measured for the fully developed flow of water and that of glycerine-water solution (44%) at a inner cylinder rotational speed of $0{\sim}600$ rpm, respectively. The transitional flow have been examined by the measurement of pressure drops and the visualization of flow field, to reveal the relation of the Reynolds and Rossby numbers with the skin-friction coefficients and to understand the flow instability mechanism. The present results show that the skin-friction coefficients have the significant relation with the Rossby numbers, only for laminar regime. The occurrence of transition has been checked by the gradient changes of pressure drops and skin-friction coefficients with respect to the Reynolds numbers. The increasing rate of skin-friction coefficient due to the rotation is uniform for laminar flow regime, whereas it is suddenly reduced for transitional flow regime and, then, is gradually declined for turbulent flow regime. Consequently, the critical (axial-flow) Reynolds number decreases as the rotational speed increases. Thus, the rotation of inner cylinder promotes the early occurrence of transition due to the excitation of taylor vortices.
Multi-valued decision making for transitional stochastic events was newly derived based on conditional probability of database. The two values (on-off) decision making method without transition had been proposed by one of the author in a previous work for a purpose of realizing human on-off decision making. The current method is an extension of the previous on-off decision making. By combining the conditional probability and the transitional probability, the closed form of the algorithm for the multi-valued transitional decision making was derived. The proposed multi-valued decision making was successfully applied to the determination of the five levels of the vigilance of a subject during the EEG recording; awake stage, drowsy stage and sleeping stages (stage 1, stage 2/3, REM (rapid eye movement)). The method for determining the vigilance level can be directly usable for the two purposes; selection of awake EEG segments for automatic EEG interpretation, and determination of sleep stages through sleep EEG. The proposed multi-valued decision making with a mathematical background of the probability can be applicable widely, in industries and in medical fields for purposes of the multi-valued decision making.

This article examines the role of financial development in economic growth in a number of transitional economies where the financial systems were newly established or reformed only in the early 1990s to facilitate their transition from centrally planned economies to market-based ones. Based on a dataset collected from 29 transitional economies and 5 Asian developing economies covering the period 1990-2020, an empirical endogenous growth model is specified and estimated using the generalized method of moments (GMM). Three measures of financial development are used to investigate the relative role of the banking system and stock exchange market in the process of transition and growth. The results show that the three measures of financial development are crucial determinants of economic growth in transitional economies but the link seems to be in an inverted U-shape. This suggests the existence of thresholds for different channels of the financial sector to expand to positively influence growth. When becoming too large relative to the size of the economy, the financial system would have become a factor not conducive to growth. The growth convergence hypothesis is also confirmed and the impacts of other growth determinants are overall consistent with the extant literature.
Purpose: This study was conducted to develop and evaluate the collaborate transitional care program for improving continuity of care in patients transferred to general wards from ICUs. Methods: 18 years and older who were hospitalized in adult intensive care units at A university affiliated medical center was recruited for the study. The experimental group for patients transferred from an ICU consisted of 33 patients and family caregivers; 34 patients and family caregivers for the control group. This study was utilized a quasi-experimental research design. The collaborative transitional care program was administered in transfer process. Data were collected two times by interviews, medical records, and telephone using questionnaires. Results: There were statistically significant differences between the two groups on relocation stress (p<.001), perceived health status (p<.001), satisfaction of caring (p=.011), physical domain (p=.022) and mental domain (p<.001) of the QOL. There were significant differences between the families of the two groups on burden (p<.001) and satisfaction of caring (p<.001). Conclusion: The collaborative transitional care programs administered in transfer process to general wards from an ICU have positive effects on patients and families' intrinsic and extrinsic factors. This program will be able to be utilized in clinical fields to improve continuity of care for patients and families between ICUs and general wards.

The failures of tailing dams have caused irreparable damage to human lives, assets and environment and this has ultimately resulted in great economic, social and environmental challenges worldwide. Due to this, investigation into mechanical behaviour of tailings has received some attention. However, the knowledge and understanding of mechanics of behaviour in iron tailings is still limited. This study investigates the mechanics of iron tailings from Nigeria considering grading, effects of fabric resulting from different sample preparations and the possibility of non-convergent behaviour. This was achieved by conducting series of one-dimensional compression tests in conjunction with index, microstructural, chemical and mineralogical tests. The materials are predominantly poorly graded, non-clayey and non-plastic. The tailings are characterised by angular particles with no obvious particle aggregations and dominated by silicon, iron, aluminium, haematite and quartz. The compression paths do not converge and unique normal compression lines are not found and this is an important feature of the transitional mode of behaviour. The behaviour of these iron tailings therefore depends on initial specific volume. The preparation methods also have effect on the compression paths of the samples. The gradings of the samples have an influence on the degree of transitional behaviour but the preparation methods do affect the degree of convergence. The transitional mode of behaviour in these iron tailings investigated is very strong.
