대중교통 서비스 품질 평가의 국내외 연구 동향 및 시사점 (A Review on the evaluation of transit quality of service)

  • Internal and external conditions are currently changing-e.g, climate change increased awareness of energy crisis, and accelerated paradigm about green growth. Accordingly, revitalization of public transportation which enables green transportation system is receiving more attention than the past. Meanwhile, as the incom level increased, people required better quality of service, and consequently, various proposals about improving the services are being promoted. Generally, the quality of the spaces within transit in developed countries is represent the quality of life, thus concerns about the transit service of quality are emerging. This study, through the domestic and abroad studies about transit service quality, redefines transit service quality including rail and reviews the related categories. In that order this study deducts each type of evaluation categories and factors, with comparing and reviewing with various cases in Korea and overseas. Based on the whole process, the paper elicits implications and proposes to the research about the evaluation of transit quality of service.

사용자 위치기반 환승정보서비스 개념모델 (A Conceptual Model for Location Based Public Transit Transfer Information Service)

  • 대중교통시설 및 수단간의 비효율적 교통연계에 따른 환승불편으로 인한 대중교통 이용률 저하와 국가 교통시설의 운영효율성 개선을 위하여 IT와 정보통신 등 첨단기술을 활용하여 대중교통 서비스 고급화 방안에 대한 검토가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 사용자 위치기반 환승정보서비스를 제안하며 국가 ITS 아키텍쳐 개발방법론을 준용하여 사용자 위치기반 환승정보서비스를 위한 개념 및 요구사항 도출, 세부 사용자 서비스 정의, 서브시스템 도출, 논리아키텍척를 제시하였다. 환승교통센터와 주차유도 및 보행자경로안내서비스 서브시스템 논리아키텍쳐는 모바일 매체를 활용한 다양한 서비스 컨텐츠 개발과 ISP, TSP 등 Contents Provider의 비즈니스 모델 창출에 기여할 것으로 판단된다. 아울러, 대중교통의 연계 환승은 도시규모나 대중교통 수단유형에 따라 각각의 특성이 차별화 되므로 본 연구에서 제시한 기본 개념을 바탕으로 대중교통 및 환승정보 서비스를 위한 다양한 유형의 서비스 모델 제시가 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

  • This paper presents an intersection of technologies of ITS (intelligent transport systems) and CBTC(communication based train control) in urban transit system. ITS is based on Information and communication technologies. And also these techniques are fundamental for railway system. ITS has some technologies useful in railways such as traveler information service, public transportation information service, and advanced vehicle control Systems. Therefore, both systems need to technological cooperation. In this paper, we proposed useful an cooperation method for both systems.

뉴스초점 - 지하철 9호선의 급행화 및 5호선과의 직결대안 (Subway Line 9 Express Transit Service & Direct Link Proposal with Line 5)

  • A new subway, line 9 linking Western and Eastern Seoul began its services for citizens between Gimpo airport and Gangnam area within 30 minutes by express transit service. Seoul Metro Line 9 Corporation plans to operate both local transit service which will stop at every station, and express transit service that will stop at several key stations including junctions. The passengers on line 9 will be able to transfer to lines 2, 3, 5, 8, Bundang and Incheon International Airport. The Line 9 is expected to disperse the demand for line 2, having the most number of subway users, and will provide passengers with less crowded travel. The new line will also help residents in southern Seoul outskirts and Gyeonggi provincial cities including Bundang vicinity, and Gangdong area commuters get better access to Gimpo and incheon Airports. The Corporation expects to transfer 560,000 passengers daily by the subway line 9. Seoul Development Institute conducted network reshuffle study for Seoul Metro system to sort out congestion problem due to its irrational line alignments and inconvenient transfer. Among several candidate plans of network reshuffling, the direct connection of line 9 with line 5 was chosen as a pilot study. The study found that direct connection of the 2 lines is essential for enhancing transit utility and reducing automobile commuters.

  • The one of the necessary technologies to live in the ubiquitous society that we can exchange some informations whenever it is and wherever we are, is the technology of context-awareness. The technology of context-awareness can be used various fields-medical science, national defense, national security and etc. and the technology can affect our society by and large. The technology of context-awareness is also applicable to many fields in the urban transit. In this paper, we describe the present condition of the technology of context-awareness and the examples of practical application of it and suggest some plans that are applicable to build an intelligent surveillance system for urban transit. We can connect the operating officer who is in the nearest to the place where the some events happened within the urban transit service area through the intelligent surveillance system for urban transit and we can eel a foothold in perceiving automatically various events within urban transit service area. So, the technology of context-awareness is the basic technology to realize an intelligent surveillance for urban transit, for the security of passengers and the protection of facilities in urban transit.

ISP 네트워크간 상호접속 모델 (An Interconnection Model of ISP Networks)

  • For Internet service providers (ISPs), there are three common types of interconnection agreements : private peering, public peering and transit. One of the most important problems for a single ISP is to determine which other ISPs to interconnect with, and under which agreements. The problem can be then to find a set of private peering providers, transit providers and Internet exchanges (IXs) when the following input data are assumed to be given : a set of BGP addresses with traffic demands, and a set of potential service providers (Private peering/transit providers and IXs) with routing information, cost functions and capacities. The objective is to minimize the total interconnection cost. We show that the problem is NP-hard, give a mixed-integer programming model, and propose a heuristic algorithm. Computational experience with a set of test instances shows the remarkable performance of the proposed algorithm of rapidly generating near-optimal solutions.

  • In the forthcoming public ATM/B-ISDN, the efficient resource management with pre-planned transit networking which public domain NNI signaling is essential to maintain high network utilization and to assure QoS to the multimedia service users. For this purpose the transit networks must be managed according to the bearer service capability which is defined by ATM Forum and ITU-T. In this paper, we introduce an implementation of ATM transit networking with ATM VP-XC(Virtual Path cross-connect) and US(Network Management System). The functions of ATM VP-XC and NMS have been simulated with OPNET 6.1 modules. We implemented the F4 OAM functions of ATM VP connection according to the ITU-T 1.610 recommendation. Also, the ATM VP transit networking is managed by the NMS according to the connection management architecture of the TWN(Telecommunications Management Network) /TINA ( Telecommunications Information Networking Architecture).

  • 정보통신기술 발전으로 u-Gov의 진화방향은 커다란 영향을 미치게 된다. 이는 정부의 새로운 행정 가치를 추구하는 정부혁신의 핵심 수단으로 활용되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 e-Gov와 u-Gov의 차이점 분석을 통해서, u-Gov에 활용될 수 있는 u-public transit 응용서비스 프로토타입 시스템 구성을 제안하였다. 제안된 프로토타입이 구현될 때에 나타날 수 있는 과제로 e-Gov의 불안전한 요소를 제거하거나, u-public transit에 대한 대응체계를 위해 UT를 응용한 프로토타입의 정책적 함의도 고찰하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze death injuries and operation troubles of urban transit. No difference was shown in death rates between Line 1 of Pusan urban transit and Line 5, 7, And 8 of Seoul metropolitan transit. And relief time by another train did not depend upon the number of crews. We concluded that thorough inspection and preventive maintenance of trains and facilities are necessary for safe and timely service of urban transit.

이용자 맞춤형 대중교통서비스의 이용자 만족도 분석 : 부산시 사례를 중심으로 (User's Satisfaction Analysis on the User-Oriented Public Transit Service in Busan)

  • 이용자 맞춤형 대중교통서비스는 이용자의 개별 특성을 고려한 이용자별 선호 대중교통정보를 언제 어디서나 정보제공 매체를 통해 빠르고 편리하게 제공하기 위한 서비스로, 차내장치, BIT, 모바일 3가지 매체와 서비스에 대한 개발 연구가 진행되었다. 서비스에 대한 평가를 목적으로 테스트 베드 지역인 부산시를 대상으로 만족도 평가를 실시하며, 각 매체별/종합만족도의 영향을 미친 중요요인을 분석하고, 이러한 결과를 기초로 서비스 개선방안을 도출하고자 한다. 본 서비스에 대한 전반적인 만족도는 평균값 3.54로 긍정적인 반응을 보였으며, 각 매체별로는 차내장치 3.29, BIT 3.62, 모바일 4.05의 만족도를 보였다. 이용자 맞춤형 대중교통서비스의 종합만족도는 범주형 회귀분석 결과 표준화계수 .632인 "차내장치"가 만족도를 결정짓는 중요요인 매체로 작용한 것으로 분석되었다. 제공 서비스 측면에서 현재 제공되는 정보만으로도 충분히 구득이 가능하므로 콘텐츠의 추가보다는 이용환경의 개선 요구가 더 많은 것으로 분석되었으며, 이러한 결과를 토대로 이용자 측면에서의 개선방안을 제시하였다는데 본 연구의 의의가 있다.
