거래적·변혁적 리더십이 팀 임파워먼트 및 성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Transactional Leadership and Transformational Leadership on Team Empowerment and Performance)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze whether transactional leadership and transformational leadership have an effect on team empowerment and performance. To this end, a survey was conducted from August 1 to 30 in 2008, among team members of fashion companies. The data was collected with 586 subjects, the statistical analysis methods were frequency analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study were as follows; First, contingent reward of transactional leadership had an effect on team empowerment factors and team performance factors. Second, charisma, individualized consideration and intellectual stimulation of transformational leadership had an effect on team empowerment factors and team performance factors. Third, team potency, team autonomy and team meaning of team empowerment had an effect on team performance factors.

  • The purpose of this study is to describe upon the most effective leadership stlyes for Airlines based on the transformational and transactional leadership that Bernard M.Bass proposed. The outcome of leadership treated here will be employee's extra efforts, employee's satisfaction with the leader, the effectiveness of the leader, involvement by employees in the organization, and management outcomes perceived by employees. The result of correlation showed that transformational leadership factors had positive impacts on the outcomes of leadership, but the transactional leadership had a negative impact on outcomes of leadership. According to results of multiple regression analyses, transformational leadership had a grater positive impact on outcomes of leadership than did transactional leadership. Transformational leadership is expected to promote and enhance the effectiveness of the hotel leaders, as well as the airline employee's extra effort, their satisfaction with the leader, involvement in the organization, and their perception of management outcomes. It is imperative that the airline industry continues to develop transformational leader.

지각된 리더십 유형이 구성원의 조직몰입에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Perceived Leadership Styles on Organizational Commitment)

  • 본 연구는 조직의 리더가 발휘하는 리더십 유형이 구성원의 조직몰입에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 파악하여 실천적인 시사점의 제시를 목적으로 하였다. 본 연구에서는 지각된 리더십 유형이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향을 탐색하기 위하여 리더십의 유형을 구분하고 조직몰입의 개별 영역과의 관계를 분석하였다. 실증분석 결과 변혁적 거래적 리더십은 조직몰입에 정(+)의 영향을 미친다는 가정이 일부 채택되었다. 변혁적 거래적 리더십은 정서적 규범적 조직몰입에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나 지속적 몰입에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 본 연구에서는 지속적 몰입을 이끌어 내기 위해서 리더십의 발휘와는 별개 차원의 선행변수가 고려되어야 한다는 시사점을 제시하였다. 특히 지속적 몰입과 관련된 본 연구의 결과는 기업의 성과와 구성원의 조직몰입에 대한 현실을 반영하였다는 점에서 실질적인 의미를 갖는다.

  • 이 논문은 대학도서관 상사의 변혁적 거래적 리더십이 사서직원의 임파워먼트에 미치는 영향력을 조사,분석하여 임파워먼트 향상을 위한 리더십의 개발방향을 제시한 것이다. 연구 결과를 요약하면 변혁적 거래적 리더십은 사서직원의 임파워먼트에 정(+)의 방향으로 영향을 미치고 있고, 임파워먼트에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 변혁적 리더십의 요소는 '개별적 고려'로, 거래적 리더십의 요소는 '조건적 보상'으로 나타났으며, 상대적 영향력은 거래적 리더십보다 변혁적 리더십이 더 큰 것으로 나타났다.

커피프랜차이즈 최고경영자의 리더십이 혁신성과에 미치는 영향: 조직신뢰의 매개효과 (The Impact of Coffee Shop Franchise CEO Leadership on Innovation Performance: Mediating Role of Organizational Trust)

  • Purpose - This study aims to examine the impact of leadership on organizational trust and innovation performance, and to identify whether organizational trust plays a mediating role in the relationship between leadership and innovation performance. Also, this study attempts to find out how to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness based on leadership-based or trust-based strategies. And, this research proposed that organizational trust plays a core mediating role in the relationship between transactional and transformational leadership and innovation performance. Research design, data, and methodology - In order to test the hypotheses of this study, the survey was conducted towards franchise coffee shop employees between November 7 and 18, 2016. We contacted top executives of coffee shop franchise headquarters and explained the purpose of this study. Among 150 questionnaires distributed, 123 were collected. Of these collected questionnaires, 102 questionnaires were coded and analyzed for further analysis. In order to test the unidimensionality and reliability of the factors, factor analysis and reliability test were performed using SPSS/PC+ 22.0. And, the hypotheses were tested using hierarchical mediated regression analysis. Result - The results are as follows. First, transactional leadership, and intellectual stimulation, motivation of transformational leadership had significant impacts on organizational trust. Second, organizational trust, transactional leadership, and influence of transformational leadership had significant impacts on innovation performance. Third, the mediating test of organizational trust showed that transactional leadership plays a partial mediator, and intellectual of transformational leadership plays a full mediator in the relationship between leadership and innovation performance. Conclusions - The implications of this study are as follows. First, the top management should provide their organizational members incentives or rewards based on their performance. Second, top management should identify and express a clear vision and desirable organizational goals for the future, present an idealized vision, and communicate to organizational members that the vision is achievable, also have organizational members to think creatively and find optimal solutions to difficult problems. In sum, this study revealed the important role of leadership in embedding organizational trust in and improving innovation performance of coffee shop employees and the mediating role of organizational trust in the influence of leadership on innovation performance.

변혁적 리더십이 구성원의 임파워먼트와 창의성에 미치는 영향 관계 - 창의적 품질을 위한제품/서비스 조직의 새로운 리더십 패러다임 탐색 - (Effects of Transformational and Transactional Leadership on Followers' Empowerment and Creativity)

  • This research uses measures of transformational and transactional leadership to examine its impact on subordinate psychological empowerment and on his/her creativity in 3 resort complexes. For a total of 462 respondents, followers' sense of increased empowerment and creativity are significantly and positively related to the transformational leadership behaviors of their immediate superior, including charismatic attributes and behaviors, individual consideration, and intellectual stimulation. Two of the three transactional leadership measures, including contingent reward and management-by-exception(active), correlate positively with the followers' perceived empowerment and creativity, but the rest one, management-by-exception(passive), negatively with them. The impact of all of the three measures of transformational leadership and the two of transactional leadership(i.e., contingent reward and active management-by-exception) on subordinate creativity is partially mediated by the subordinate empowerment.

사회복지실천에서 리더의 변혁적 리더십이 사회복지사의 역량강화와 자기효능감에 미치는 조절효과에 관한 연구 (Centering Effect of the Transactional Leadership between the Social Worker Empowerment and Social Work Self-Efficacy in Social Work Practice)

  • 본 연구는 사회복지 실천에서 사회복지사의 역량강화와 자기효능감 간의 관계를 밝히고, 변혁적 리더십이 이들 관계를 조절하여주는지 살펴보기 위하여 시도되었다. 조사는 서울의 사회복지기관에서 근무하는 사회복지전담공무원과 사회복지사를 대상으로 진행되었으며 390명의 자료가 최종분석에 활용되었다. 조사도구로는 사회복지사 역량강화, 사회복지 자기효능감, 변혁적 리더십 척도 등이 사용되었으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS/PC+ 12.0을 사용하여 기술통계분석, 피어슨의 상관관계, 신뢰도 분석, 요인분석, 다중선형회귀분석, 일반선형모델 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 역량강화와 변혁적 리더십의 정도가 높을수록 사회복지사의 사회복지 자기효능감이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 역량강화 하위요소 가운데 전문적 활동과 사회복지사의 사회복지 자기효능감 간의 관계에서 사회복지사가 인지하는 리더의 변혁적 리더십의 조절효과가 나타났다. 결론적으로 사회복지사가 인지한 리더의 변혁적 리더십의 수준이 높은 집단의 사람들보다는 낮은 집단의 사람들에게서 상대적으로 사회복지사의 전문적 활동이 사회복지사의 자기효능감에 미치는 영향이 높게 나타났으며, 이러한 결과는 전문적 활동을 수행해야 하는 사회복지사와 사회복지기관에 시사해 주는 바가 크다.

팔로워십 특성 조절효과가 IT중소기업의 리더십유형과 임파워먼트에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Followership to Leadership Styles and Empowerment in IT SMEs)

  • The purpose of this study is to highlight the effects of the two leadership styles, namely: transformational leadership and transactional leadership, on the different types of followership through analyzing their impact in the productivity and competitiveness of human resources in IT SMEs. The paper focuses on determining whether transformational leadership or transactional leadership is more effective as shown by the levels of empowerment derived from these two types of leadership under study. From this study, alien, role model and passive types of followership, transformational leadership appears to be more influential for personal empowerment. As for group level of empowerment, the transformational type of leadership shows higher effectiveness in alien, role model, passive, and practical types of followership. On the other hand, transactional leadership yields positive impact on practical and conformist types of followership. In summary, personal empowerment plays a direct impact on group empowerment. Thus, with the exception of conformist type of followership, transformational leadership has more impact in human resources of IT SMEs.

패밀리레스토랑 중간관리자의 리더십스타일에 따른 종사원의 직무만족 (An Investigation of the employee Job Satisfaction according to Leadership Style in Family Restaurant)

  • The purposes of this study were to measure the correlation between leadership style and job satisfaction in family restaurants, and to compare the effectiveness of two different styles of leadership: transformational and transactional. The questionnaire used in this study was designed to measure all variables in the research model, and was made two kinds for employees and for managers. It was distributed to 550 employees and 12 managers in 16 stores of 4 family restaurants, from September 10 to October 7, 2004. A total of 303 usable employees' questionnaires were received, giving a 55.0% response rate, and all of managers responded. Statistical data analysis was completed using SPSS Win(11.0) for the following analyses: descriptive, reliability, factor, ANOVA, correlation and cluster. The results were as follows. First, the most influential leader was the senior staff in most of the hierarchies that were studied. Second, transformational leadership had a positive correlation with job satisfaction for family restaurant employees, while transactional leadership had a negative correlation. Third, using cluster analysis, four leadership groups were identified: transformational(44%), transactional(29%), a combination of both styles(4%), and unidentifiable style(23%). Fourth the transformational leadership group produced e highest rates job satisfaction for family restaurant employees. The transactional leadership group produced the lowest job satisfaction. According to the results, the most reasonable leadership style in family restaurants is transformational leadership.

유아교육기관 시설장의 변혁적리더쉽과 거래적리더쉽, 교사의 주관적 삶의 질 및 조직헌신 간의 관계 (The Relationships among Principal's Transformational and Transactional Leadership, Subjective Quality of Life of Teacher, and Organizational Commitment of Teacher in Kindergarten and Day Care Center)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among principal's transformational and transactional leadership, subjective quality of life of teacher, and organizational commitment of teacher in kindergarten and day care center based on the survey data from 203 teachers working in kindergarten and day care center in Kyoungbuk province. The collected data were analyzed by Simple Regression, Multiple Regression in SPSS Win program(15.0 version). The main results of this study were as follows. First, principal's transformational and transactional leadership each exerted positive effects on teacher's subjective quality of life and organizational commitment. Second, teacher's subjective quality of life had a positive influence on organizational commitment. Finally, each effect of principal's transformational and transactional leadership on teacher's organizational commitment was mediated by teacher's subjective quality of life.
