무선 네트워크에서 시퀀스-투-시퀀스 기반 모바일 궤적 예측 모델 (Sequence-to-Sequence based Mobile Trajectory Prediction Model in Wireless Network)

  • In 5G network environment, proactive mobility management is essential as 5G mobile networks provide new services with ultra-low latency through dense deployment of small cells. The importance of a system that actively controls device handover is emerging and it is essential to predict mobile trajectory during handover. Sequence-to-sequence model is a kind of deep learning model where it converts sequences from one domain to sequences in another domain, and mainly used in natural language processing. In this paper, we developed a system for predicting mobile trajectory in a wireless network environment using sequence-to-sequence model. Handover speed can be increased by utilize our sequence-to-sequence model in actual mobile network environment.

ADS-B 신호를 이용한 ILS 최종접근 구간의 항공기 항적 이격 분포 도출 (The Deviation Distribution of Target on the ILS Final Approach Segment Using ADS-B Message)

  • ADS-B는 레이더에 비하여 높은 정확도와 빠른 갱신 주기를 제공하여, 레이더를 대체하거나 보완할 수 있는 기술이다. 최근 증가하는 항공교통량과 이에 따른 정확한 감시의 요구에 의하여 ADS-B가 실제 항공기 운영에 적용되고 있다. 본 논문은 항공기가 운항 중 상시 송신하는 ADS-B 신호를 활용한 공한 인근 지역에서 정밀 감시가 가능한지 확인하기 위한 자료 수집과 일부 데이터에 대한 분석을 수행하였다. 이를 위하여 정밀계기 착륙 접근하는 항공기의 ADS-B 항적을 수집하고, 최종접근 구간에서 항적의 분포 특성에 관한 분석을 수행하였다. 분석결과 ADS-B 항적은 활주로 중심선 연장선에 대하여 평균 이격 거리 -0.04 m, 표준편차 6.71 m이고, 또한 비교적 정확한 감시정보의 제공이 가능함을 확인하였다.

  • Researches for NN(nearest neighbor) query which is often used in LBS system, have been worked. However, Conventional NN query processing techniques are usually meaningless in moving object management system for LBS since their results may be invalidated as soon as the query and data objects move. To solve these problems, in this paper we propose a new nearest neighbor query processing technique, called CTNN, which is possible to meet continuous trajectory nearest neighbor query processing. The proposed technique consists of Approximate CTNN technique which has quick response time, and Exact CTNN technique which makes it possible to search accurately nearest neighbor objects. Experimental results using GSTD datasets showed that the Exact CTNN technique has high accuracy, but has a little low performance for response time. They also showed that the Approximate CTNN technique has low accuracy comparing with the Exact CTNN, but has high response time.

이동객체의 궤적처리를 위한 트리기반 색인기법의 성능분석 (Performance Analysis of Tree-based Indexing Scheme for Trajectories Processing of Moving Objects)

  • 본 연구에서는 GIS 응용에서 이동객체의 궤적을 인덱싱하기 위해 기존에 제안되었던 TB(Trajectory-Bundle)-트리의 성능을 개선시킬 수 있는 연결테이블(LinkTable:L-Table) 기반의 확장된 TB-트리(L-Table TB-Tree:LTB-Tree)를 제안하고 아울러 제안하는 색인기법의 성능평가를 위해 다음과 같은 사항을 고려한다. 첫째, 기존의 R*-트리, TB-트리, 그리고 제안하는 LTB-트리를 성능평가 대상으로 선정한다. 둘째, 실험 데이타 집합으로는 랜덤 데이타 집합 및 실제 데이타 집합을 이용한다. 셋째, 시스템의 가용 메모리의 제약을 고려해 메모리 버퍼 크기에 따른 성능평가를 수행한다. 넷째, 다양한 데이타 분포도를 가지고 있는 실험 데이타를 이용하여 성능평가를 수행한다. 마지막으로 삽입성능 및 검색성능(궤적질의 및 영역질의)을 평가한다. 성능평가를 분석한 결과, 제안하는 색인기법이 기존의 색인기법들에 비해 삽입과 궤적질의의 검색 측면에서 더 우수함을 보인다.

Human-in-the-Loop Simulation Analysis of Integrated RPAS Operations in Trajectory Based Operations Environment

  • In this paper, Human-in-the-Loop (HiTL) simulations of Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) operations in two different Air Traffic Management (ATM) concepts, conventional radar vectoring and Trajectory Based Operations (TBO), were performed to assess the impacts of RPAS integration in the future ATM environment. TBO concept maximizes the throughput by planning and sharing 4-D trajectories between pilots and controllers, and it is considered one of the key concepts to enable RPASs to operate with manned aircraft in congested airspaces. RPASs are characterized by having communication delay or temporary loss of communication. TBO capability was added to the integrated air traffic simulation system for this study, which was developed in the Inha University. HiTL simulations were performed by a trainee air traffic controller with three scenarios, and the data were analyzed using safety, efficiency, and controller workload metrics. The results suggest that TBO were effective in reducing delays and controller workload while maintaining the level of safety.

The Trajectory of University Science Parks (USPs) in China: Institutional Evolution and Assessment

  • This study aims to identify the chronological trajectory of university science parks (USPs) in China and to discuss the roles of government-driven science and technology (S&T) policies in the development of USPs and the future directions of these entities. Our study shows that USPs in China have undergone two development waves: The first from the late 1980s to the late 1990s, when research universities expected to directly participate in economic activities, and the second from 2000 when the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) and the Ministry of Education (MOE) jointly enacted the Proposed Regulation of State-level USPs Management to guide and regulate the development of USPs. The development trajectory highlights that USPs are effective platforms that link scientific research, knowledge spillovers and industrial system. However, Chinese USPs still need to confront some conundrums which may influence the processes and outcomes of UILs. Finally, we also summarize the major issues inherent in the development of USPs to guide policymakers to enact more effective policies.

차량 궤적 데이터를 활용한 연속웨이블릿변환 기반 충격파 검지 방법 개발 (Development of a Shockwave Detection Method based on Continuous Wavelet Transform using Vehicle Trajectory Data)

  • 본 연구에서는 전/후방 차량 검지가 가능한 차량센서를 탑재한 프로브 차량으로 수집한 주행 궤적을 이용하여 연속웨이블릿변환 기반 충격파 검지 및 소멸 시점 예측 방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 방법의 효과성 분석을 위하여 충격파 소멸점 간 거리오차와 충격파 소멸점 시간-위치 오차를 평가 지표로 제시하였고, 교통혼잡 수준, 속도 감소 현상 지속시간, 프로브 차량의 비율 등을 실험요인으로 하는 미시적 시뮬레이션 기반의 실험을 통하여 제안된 방법의 개념을 검증하였다. 그 결과, 두 가지 평가 지표 모두 교통혼잡 수준 및 속도 감소 지속시간에 크게 민감하지 않음을 보임으로서, 본 연구에서 제안하는 방법이 임의의 위치와 시간 동안 발생하는 속도 감소 현상으로 인한 충격파를 검지하고 그 소멸시점을 예측하는데 효과가 있음을 보였다. 그리고 그 정확도는 전체 차량 중 프로브 차량의 비율에 많은 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다.

재진입 비행체의 TAEM 구간 최적궤적 설계와 인공신경망을 이용한 제어 (Trajectory Optimization and the Control of a Re-entry Vehicle during TAEM Phase using Artificial Neural Network)

  • 본 논문은 재진입 비행체의 TAEM 구간 유도와 제어에 관하여 기술 하였다. TAEM 구간은 공기의 밀도와 비행체의 속도의 범위가 큰 특징을 가지고 있으며, 이들 조건하에 TAEM 구간의 유도를 위한 궤적과 비행체의 상태값을 최적화하였다. 최적화된 상태값은 7가지의 상태이며, 상태값은 Down-range, Cross-range, 비행체의 고도, 속도, 경로각, 방위각, 그리고 비행 거리이다. 최적화 연산을 수행하기 위하여 DIDO 프로그램을 사용하였다. 재진입 비행체의 제어를 위하여 인공 신경망을 이용한 되먹임 선형화 제어법을 사용하였다. 비행체의 동역학 모델은 역전파 모델을 통하여 근사화 되고, 근사화된 동역학 모델과 지연된 제어 입력, 플랜트 출력으로부터 새로운 제어 입력을 생성하게 된다. 이를 이용하여 본 논문에서는 앞서 최적화된 7가지의 상태값을 추종하는 결과를 보였다.

B-spline polynomials models for analyzing growth patterns of Guzerat young bulls in field performance tests

  • Objective: The aim of this study was to identify suitable polynomial regression for modeling the average growth trajectory and to estimate the relative development of the rib eye area, scrotal circumference, and morphometric measurements of Guzerat young bulls. Methods: A total of 45 recently weaned males, aged 325.8±28.0 days and weighing 219.9±38.05 kg, were evaluated. The animals were kept on Brachiaria brizantha pastures, received multiple supplementations, and were managed under uniform conditions for 294 days, with evaluations conducted every 56 days. The average growth trajectory was adjusted using ordinary polynomials, Legendre polynomials, and quadratic B-splines. The coefficient of determination, mean absolute deviation, mean square error, the value of the restricted likelihood function, Akaike information criteria, and consistent Akaike information criteria were applied to assess the quality of the fits. For the study of allometric growth, the power model was applied. Results: Ordinary polynomial and Legendre polynomial models of the fifth order provided the best fits. B-splines yielded the best fits in comparing models with the same number of parameters. Based on the restricted likelihood function, Akaike's information criterion, and consistent Akaike's information criterion, the B-splines model with six intervals described the growth trajectory of evaluated animals more smoothly and consistently. In the study of allometric growth, the evaluated traits exhibited negative heterogeneity (b<1) relative to the animals' weight (p<0.01), indicating the precocity of Guzerat cattle for weight gain on pasture. Conclusion: Complementary studies of growth trajectory and allometry can help identify when an animal's weight changes and thus assist in decision-making regarding management practices, nutritional requirements, and genetic selection strategies to optimize growth and animal performance.
