헬리콥터 비행교육 과정에서 비행훈련과 모의비행훈련의 상관관계 분석 (Analysis between Flight Training and Flight Simulator Trainingin Helicopter Flight Training Course)

  • As the demand for simulated flight training and interest in new technology training increase, this study analyzed the performance of flight simulator training and actual flight training subjects to confirm efficient flight simulator training curriculum. Summarizing the results of the study, found that flight simulator training had a significant positive effect on the actual flight training performance and in particular had a relatively large effect on the air maneuver, traffic pattern, cross country flight subjects. As a result of analyzing theoretical major classes that affect flight simulator training to verify the correlation, found that principle of air navigation, air traffic service, and helicopter flight theory were affected in order. The significance of this study was to identify the curriculum and ground lesson that should be focused on effectively performing flight simulator training in the helicopter private pilot course.

  • For the proper decision making and responsibility enhancement for an unexpected accident in large-scale facilities, it is important to train operators or first responders to minimize potential human errors and consequences resulted from them. Simulation technologies, including human-computer interaction and virtual reality, enables personnel to participate in simulated hazardous situations with a safe, interactive, repetitive way to perform these training activities. For the development of accident response training simulator, it is necessary to define components comprising the simulator and to integrate them for the given training purpose. In this paper, we analyze requirements of the training simulator, derive key components, and design the training simulator. Based on the design, we developed a prototype training simulator and verified the simulator through experiments.

  • 해상교통관제사 훈련에 관한 IALA 권고안 및 국제 기준에 근거하여, 현재 국내에서는 세 개의 훈련과정이 개설되어 운영 중에 있으며 이러한 훈련과정의 교육 효과 증진을 위해 시뮬레이터가 도입되어 사용 중에 있다. 그러나 현재 사용되고 있는 시뮬레이터에는 관제 대상 선박의 움직임에 대한 수학모델이 부정확하고 특정한 장소에만 설치가 되어 있어서 훈련에 제약이 많은 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는, 정확한 선박운동 수학모델을 이용함으로써 교육 효과를 높이고, 또한 인터넷 기반으로도 훈련이 가능하도록 함으로써 장소에 제약을 받지 않는 새로운 시뮬레이터를 설계 개발하였으며, 시범 운영을 통해 시스템의 기능을 검증하고 그 활용도를 평가하였다.

  • Aerial working platform is recently used broadly in heavy industry and construction field and also the utilization of it is growing. However, the raise of critical incident caused by unskilled operator is increasing gradually. To reduce and prevent such incident, the training for operating is essential. It's not easy to cover the requirements for the training with real platform because of the high price of it, safety and weather condition. This paper proposes a simulator for the training based on virtual reality to give the training safely regardless to the weather condition and the simulator is deliverable in lower price than real one. The simulator proposed in this paper is available to be set according to the level of trainee managing the assessment level and be also applied for the design of general heavy equipment training simulator based.

  • Vehicle simulators provide an effective and safe environment for training operators. Many vehicle simulators have been developed but only a few have reached the stage of widely available tools; these tools are usually expensive and run on workstations only We have developed a low-cost, PC-based excavator simulator for training operators. Currently the simulator is dedicated to operating the boom, Em, bucket, and driver's cabin for digging by the action of the operator on two joysticks. This paper presents the implementation of the excavator simulator and some implementation results.

헬리콥터 비행 시뮬레이터와 실 비행훈련과의 효과 분석: 계기비행 훈련을 중심으로 (Effectiveness Analysis of Helicopter Flight Simulator and Actual Flight Training: Focused on Instrument Flight Training)

  • To compare and analyze the differences between flight simulation and actual flight among 130 army helicopter pilot training subjects, the correlation analysis was performed first through t-testing and multiple regression analysis of individual characteristics and flight simulation and actual instrument flight training, which were analyzed significantly in the age (a3) and service classification (a5) of the six verification factors. This has been shown to be significant, with no difference between the flight simulator and the actual flight. Second, in order to study the correlation between aircraft types, the flight evaluation (v1) was analyzed as a dependent variable for the performance of the flight simulator (KUH: s2, UH60: s3, AH-1S: s5, UH-1H: s6), and the results of the multiple regression analysis of the flight simulator evaluation (s1) were analyzed, in contrast, as a dependent variable, and in conclusion, the training of the flight simulator provided statistical data on the possibility of replacing the actual flight training, which is thought to contribute to the orientation, budget reduction and aviation safety of the pilot training.

  • Recently, Korea Air Force has been facing a lot of problems in its pilot training system such as training time shortage due to the expensive gas price, noise pollution and difficulties in finding airspace for training. To tackle these problems, a new training system (called L-V training system) using both aircraft and its simulator has been suggested. In the system, a data link is established between aircraft and simulator to exchange their flight information. Using the flight information of simulator, aircraft can perform various air missions with or against imaginary aircraft (i.e., simulator). For this system, it is crucially important that fair fighting condition has to be guaranteed between aircraft and simulator. In this paper, we suggested an approach to impose a maneuvering restriction to simulator in order to provide fair fighting condition between aircraft and simulator.

  • An experience based training system concerning various fire situations which may result many casualties has been required to make rapid decision and improve the responsiveness. Recently, the necessity of virtual reality (VR) based training system which can replace a dangerous full-scale fire training and be easily adopted to the training or evaluation process is increasing. This study constructed tile virtual environment according to pre-defined scenarios, utilized the FDS(Fire Dynamics Simulator), three dimensional computational fire analysis program, to derive numerically simulated data on the propagation of fire. Finally, by visualizing the realistic fire and smoke behavior through virtual reality technique and implementing real-time interaction, we developed a VR-based fire training simulator. Also, in order to ensure the sense for tile real of a virtual world and reaI-time performance at the same time, we proposed appropriate data processing and space search algorithms, demonstrate d the value of proposed method through experiments.

  • A severe accident training simulator that can simulate important severe accident phenomena and nuclear plant behaviors is developed. The simulator also provides several interactive control devices, which are helpful to assess results of a particular accident management behavior. A simple and direct dynamic linked library (DLL) data communication method is used for the development of the simulator. Using the DLL method, various control devices were implemented to provide an interactive control function during simulation. Finally, a training model is suggested for accident mitigation training and its performance is verified through application runs.
