자동차 조향장치용 TAS module을 위한 Multi-track Encoder기반 신호처리보드의 구현 (Preliminary study of Angle sensor module for Vehicle Steering System Based on Multi-track Encoder)

  • As 4.0 industry has been developed, research on a self-driving car technology and related parts of an automobile has been highly investigated recently. Particularly, a TAS(Torque Angle Sensor) module on steering wheel system has been considered as a key technology because of its precise angle, torque detection and high speed signal processing. The environmental assessment is generally required on the TAS module to examine high resolution of angle/torque detection. In the case of existing TAS module, angle detection errors has been occurred by back-lash on main and sub gear in addition to complicated structure caused by gears. In this paper, a structure of the TAS module, which minimizes the numbers of components and angle detection errors on the module compared with the existing TAS module, for vehicle steering system based on a Multi-track Encoder has been proposed. Also, angle detection signal processing board, and key technology of the TAS module were fabricated and evaluated. As a result of the experiments, we confirmed an excellent performance of the fabricated signal processing board for angle detection and an applicability of the fabricated angle detection board on the TAS module of vehicles by the environmental assessment an automobile standard.

  • DTTS(Dynamic Track Tensioning System) system requires robust control performance for the various maneuvering tasks. However, it is very difficult to tune the controller gains in experiments. In this paper, the hydraulic unit is modeled and constructed into the DTTS control module in Matlab/Simulink The control module is interfaced to the vehicle dynamics module so that the control performance of the DTTS system can be evaluated in simulations. The dynamics data and control input data are exchanged between two modules at each control time-step. The gains in the fuzzy-logic controller are varied and the control performance is evaluated in simulations. The proposed simulation tool can be very useful for the gain tuning of track tension controller in bucked vehicles

Development of Analysis Module for Marine Traffic Information Using PC Camera

  • Usually marine traffic survey has been conducted by some methods like an ocular observation using portable RADAR, a questionnaire, etc. But these should have expended a lot of manpower and expenses. In this paper, we have developed new observation module which could capture the RADAR image using PC camera simply, and allowed as to track targets on the PC monitor directly. And it has been programmed to make a database of RADAR image, target's track and information, and analyze the marine traffic tendency in various ways like vessel number crossed over gate line, vessel's velocity distribution in gate line, traffic density distribution, etc. We have confirmed that this module could observe and analyze the marine traffic efficiently and economically through several on-the-spot experiments.

Influence of track irregularities in high-speed Maglev transportation systems

  • Track irregularities of high-speed Maglev lines have significant influence on ride comfort. Their adjustment is of key importance in the daily maintenance of these lines. In this study, an adjustment method is proposed and track irregularities analysis is performed. This study considers two modules: an inspection module and a vehicle-guideway coupling vibration analysis module. In the inspection module, an inertial reference method is employed for field-measurements of the Shanghai high-speed Maglev demonstration line. Then, a partial filtering, integration method, resampling method, and designed elliptic filter are employed to analyze the detection data, which reveals the required track irregularities. In the analysis module, a vehicle-guideway interaction model and an electromagnetic interaction model were developed. The influence of the measured line irregularities is considered for the calculations of the electromagnetic force. Numerical integration method was employed for the calculations. Based on the actual field detection results and analysis using the numerical model, a threshold analysis method is developed. Several irregularities modalities with different girder end's deviations were considered in the simulations. The inspection results indicated that long-wavelength irregularities with larger girder end's deviations were the dominant irregularities. In addition, the threshold analysis of the girder end's deviation shows that irregularities that have a deviation amplitude larger than 6 mm and certain modalities (e.g., M- and N-shape) are unfavorable. These types of irregularities should be adjusted during the daily maintenance.

적외선 기반 실내 사용자 위치 추적 시스템 (Infrared-based User Location Tracking System for Indoor Environments)

  • 본 논문에서는 실내에서 이동하는 사용자를 적외선에 기반을 둔 근접방법으로 추적하는 시스템인 ubiTrack을 제안한다. 현재까지 개발된 대부분의 실내 위치 추적 시스템들은 성능 및 정확도 향상을 위해 중앙 집중적인 방식으로 사용자를 추적하고 있다. 그러나 이와 같은 방식은 수많은 센서들이 환경에 편재되는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 프라이버시 문제를 야기할 수 있으며 다수의 사용자로 위치 추적을 확장하는 경우 연산의 부하가 크다는 문제점이 있다. 제안된 ubiTrack은 사용자의 모바일 기기에서 위치정보를 획득하는 passive mobile 구조로 설계되어 프라이버시 문제를 완화하며, 이동하는 사용자에 적합한 영역기반의 근접방법을 사용하여 위치 추적을 위한 연산의 효율을 높인다. 이를 위해 ubiTrack은 센싱 영역을 시분할 방식 (Time-Division Multiplexing)으로 중첩시켜 사용자에게 적합한 영역을 생성하며, 시분할 방식에 따른 성능 저하를 막기 위해 짧은 발신 주기를 가지는 적외선 통신 방식을 사용한다. 아울러 ubiTrack은 위치 추적의 정확도와 정밀도를 높이기 위해 하드웨어로 구현된 수신기와 소프트웨어로 구현된 활용 모듈에서 외부로부터의 충격이나 신호 강도 약화에 의해 발생하는 노이즈를 필터링하는 방법들을 각각 사용한다. ubiTrack은 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 서로 다른 어플리케이션들의 통신을 지원하는 네트워크 모듈과 연계되어 있어, 단순히 위치 정보에 의존적인 어플리케이션뿐만 아니라 사용자 컨텍스트 정보를 활용하는 어플리케이션 등의 다양한 서비스들에서 쉽게 응용될 수 있다.

  • In this study, a procedure is presented for the dynamic analysis of a multibody tracked vehicle system. the planner tracked vehicle model used in this investigation is assumed to consist of two kinematically decoupled subsystems, i.e., the chassis subsys- tem and track sub-system. The chassis subsystem includes the chassis frame, sprocket, idler and rollers, while the track subsystem is represented as a closed kinematic chain consisting of rigid links interconnected by revolute joints. The recursive kinematic and dynamic formulation module of the vehicle will be developed.

모바일 환경 Homography를 이용한 특징점 기반 다중 객체 추적 (Multi-Object Tracking Based on Keypoints Using Homography in Mobile Environments)

  • This paper proposes an object tracking system based on keypoints using homography in mobile environments. The proposed system is based on markerless tracking, and there are four modules which are recognition, tracking, detecting and learning module. Recognition module detects and identifies an object to be matched on current frame correspond to the database using LSH through SURF, and then this module generates a standard object information. Tracking module tracks an object using homography information that generate by being matched on the learned object keypoints to the current object keypoints. Then update the window included the object for defining object's pose. Detecting module finds out the object based on having the best possible knowledge available among the learned objects information, when the system fails to track. The experimental results show that the proposed system is able to recognize and track objects with updating object's pose for the use of mobile platform.

모바일 환경 신뢰도 평가 학습에 의한 다중 객체 추적 (Multi-Object Tracking based on Reliability Assessment of Learning in Mobile Environment)

  • This paper proposes an object tracking system according to reliability assessment of learning in mobile environments. The proposed system is based on markerless tracking, and there are four modules which are recognition, tracking, detecting and learning module.   • In this paper, we have studied a design method to make Linux system enriched with a duplication facility. We have designed a duplication module which would be inserted into Linux. The design have to keep track of three foundations, such as fault detection, reconfiguration, a handling duplication data. To conclude, Linux duplication module is free put on a Linux kernel. so in the future, It can cope with a change in Linux duplication system flexiblely.
