GPS/DR기반의 차상열차위치검지방안 연구 (The study on scheme for train position detection based on GPS/DR)

  • 정밀한 열차제어를 위해서는 열차위치의 정확한 검지가 반드시 필요하다. 현재 일반적으로 널리 사용되고 있는 열차검지방법은 궤도회로를 이용하는 방법이다. 궤도회로는 구성이 단순하며, 신뢰성이 확보되는 장점이 있다. 하지만 열차는 궤도회로 위에서만 검지가 가능하므로 모든 지상구간에 궤도회로를 설치해야하며 설치 및 유지보수에 많은 비용이 소모된다. 또한 궤도회로는 폐전로 구성의 특성 때문에 불연속적인 위치검지만이 가능하다. 최근 통신기술의 발달과 차상제어장치의 첨단화에 따라 열차의 위치검지는 열차에서 직접 검지하는 방법들이 연구되고 있다. 차상중심의 위치검지방식은 열차의 위치, 속도, 시각정보를 연속적으로 측정하여 열차의 제어정보로 사용하는 방식이다. 이러한 차상중심의 위치검지방식은 무선기반 열차제어 및 자기부상열차제어와 같이 궤도회로의 사용을 최소화 하는 최근 열차제어시스템의 개발동향이다. 본 논문에서는 GPS항법 및 DR항법의 특징을 분석하고 GPS항법과 DR항법의 단점을 보완하는 구조를 가지는 GPS/DR기반의 차상열차위치검지방식을 제안하였다. 항법오차의 추정자로서 3차윈 위치 오차, 자세각 오차, 타코메타 환산계수 오차를 상태변수로 하는 5차 칼만필터를 사용하여 최적의 위치오차 및 DR항법용 센서의 오차 추정이 가능하도록 필터를 설계하였으며 모의시험을 통해 GPS/DR기반의 차상열차위치검지장치의 위치추정성능을 확인하였다.

  • DC-DC buck converter is a critical building block in the power management integrated circuit (PMIC) architecture for the portable devices such as cellular phone, personal digital assistance (PDA) because of its power efficiency over a wide range of conversion ratio. To ensure a safe operation, avoid unexpected damages and enhance the reliability of the converter, fully-integrated protection circuits such as over voltage protection (OVP), under voltage lock out (UVLO), startup, and thermal shutdown (TSD) blocks are designed. In this paper, these three fully-integrated protection circuit blocks are proposed for use in the DC-DC buck converter. The buck converter with proposed protection blocks is operated with a switching frequency of 1 MHz in continuous conduction mode (CCM). In order to verify the proposed scheme, the buck converter has been designed using a 180 nm CMOS technology. The UVLO circuit is designed to track the input voltage and turns on/off the buck converter when the input voltage is higher/lower than 2.6 V, respectively. The OVP circuit blocks the buck converter's operation when the input voltage is over 3.3 V, thereby preventing the destruction of the devices inside the controller IC. The TSD circuit shuts down the converter's operation when the temperature is over $85^{\circ}C$. In order to verify the proposed scheme, these protection circuits were firstly verified through the simulation in SPICE. The proposed protection circuits were then fabricated and the measured results showed a good matching with the simulation results.

궤도회로의 단자망 모델링 및 목침목 저항 특성 해석 (Network Modeling on Track Circuit and Analysis of Resistance Characteristic on Wood Sleeper)

  • 레일 밑에 놓이는 침목은 레일을 지지해 주는 역할을 한다. 침목의 저항은 레일의 전류 및 전압과 밀접한 관계가 있다. 침목의 저항이 낮으면 레일 사이에 침목을 통해 폐회로가 형성되어 레일의 전류 및 전압이 감소한다. 이로 인해 궤도 계전기 동작에 문제가 발생하여 열차가 항상 궤도를 점유하게 된 상태로 유지된다. 현재 도시철도 및 광역철도에서 사용하고 있는 목침목은 산화작용을 방지하기 위해 방부제를 사용한다. 방부제 성분 중에 크레오소트가 있는데 이 물질은 탄소를 기저로 하는 화학물질로 변화된다. 도체적인 성질을 가지고 있는 탄소는 목침목의 저항에 영향을 미친다. 크레오소트의 화학작용에 의해 발생한 탄소로 인해 목침목이 도체로써 작용하면 침목 간격마다 레일 사이에 폐회로가 형성되어 열차의 단락 전류 및 궤도회로 종단의 전압이 감소하여 궤도 계전기가 오동작이 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 목침목의 저항을 포함하는 궤도회로 4단자망 모델을 제시하였다. 또한 직선구간에서 목침목의 기준 저항 값을 제시하였다.

  • TETRA communication system is very versatile system which can transmit voice + data and packet data optimized. Direct mode operation permits to connect between mobiles when mobile stain is out of coverage of networks. It can be more secure communication channel for railway signaling systems. Railway signaling systems use many of wayside signal equipment, which require many maintenance efforts and budget. Many railway authorities want to reduce and replace the wayside equipment. Radio based signaling systems are one of candidate for replacing the conventional signaling systems. The radio based signaling systems can replace track circuit and wayside signal. The radio systems permit to connect between control centers and trains. The radio systems have to ensure high quality of the connectivity more or equal to the existed track circuits. We studied the application of TETRA systems for railway radio systems for bridging between train control centers and trains. We provide an operation scenario for radio based train control system to ensure the safety require to the existed trains control system and satisfied the existed operational availability. We showed the data transmission speed, maximum bit error rate, and data coding for the radio-based signal system using TETRA systems.

  • In this paper, we propose an expert system for electronic interlocking which enhances the safty, efficiency and expanability of the existing system by designing real-time interlocking control based on the interlocking table automatically generated using artificial intelligence approach. The expert system consists of two parts; an interlocking table generation part and a real-time interlocking control part. The former generates automatically the interlocking relationship of all possible routes by searching dynamically the station topology which is obtained from station database. On the other hand, the latter controls the status of station facilities in real-time by applying the generated interlocking relationship to the signal facilities such as signal devices, points, track circuits for a given route. The expert system is implemented in C language which is suitable to implement the interlocking table generation part using the dynamic memory allocation technique. Finally, the effectiveness of the expert system is proved by simulating for the typical station model.

  • Communications Based Train Control(CBTC) is a continuous, automatic train control system utilizing high-resolution, train location determination independent of track circuits; continuous, high capacity, bi-directional train-to-wayside data communications; and trainborne and wayside processors capable of implementing vital functions. In this paper, we present a basic design of CBTC system based on ERTMS/ETCS specifications. The basic design is composed of system requirements analysis, system functional analysis, system architectural design, sub-system requirements analysis, sub-system functional analysis. Each deliverable has been produced according to a development process based on UML/SysML.

  • The railway signaling system consists of microcomputerized vital devices on board and ground, which are connected to one another by track circuits, and interlocking equipment for route control, The software plays a major role in these microcomputer-based vital systems. Therefore it is important to design the software and validate the required levels of safety and reliability To verify the conditions and functions of signaling logic, the laboratory prototype test bench, which consists of personal computers, VME system and Ethernet LAN, will be developed. In this paper general design of signaling system test bench for high-speed rail is described and some developed subprogram is presented.
