Global environment is getting deteriorated at an alarming rate. Eco-school could be one of the effective solutions to protect our environment and a good sample of architecture to economize in total energies, resources and greenhouse gases. In case of our country, the study of eco-school planning is not sufficient compared with other countries, so this paper would be a good study on the indoor environment of the classroom by surveying their opinions and ideas from the group of users in elementary school. The result of this study shows that the proper installation of building equipment and nature ventilation system is necessary to provide delightful environment for the students and to save the energy. To ensure that we have adequate saving and protection, it is necessary to change the existing appraisal standard.

Information is an essential factor leading the rapid progress which is one of the distinguished characteristics in modem society. As more information is required and as more is supplied by individuals, governmental units, businesses, and educational institutions, the greater will be the requirement for efficient methods of communication. One possibility for improving the information dissemination process is to use computers. The capabilities of such machine are beginning to be used in the process of Information storage, retrieval and dissemination. An important problems, that must be carefully examined is whether one technique for information retrieval is better for worse than another. This paper examines problem of how to evaluate an information retrieval system. One specific approach is a cost accounting model for use in studying how to minimize the cost of operating a mechanized retrieval system. Through the use of cost analysis, the model provides a method for comparative evaluation between systems. The general cost accounting model of the literature retrieval system being designed by this study are given below. 1. The total cost accounting model of the literature retrieval system. The total cost of the literature retrieval system = (the cost per unit of user time X the amount of user time) + ( the cost per unit of system time X the amount of system time) 2. System cost accounting model system cost = (the pre-search system cost per unit of time X time) + (the search system cost per unit of time X time) + (the post search system cost per unit of time X time) 1) Pre-search system cost per unit of time = cost of channel per unit time + cost of central processing unit per unit time + cost of storage per unit time 2) Search system cost per unit of time = comparison cost + document representation cost. 3) Post-search system cost per unit of time. = cost of channel per unit time + cost of central processing unit per unit time + cost of storage per unit time 3. User cost accounting model Total user cost = [pre-search user cost per unit of time X (time + additional time) ] + [search user cost per unit of time X (time + additional time) ] + [post-search user cost per unit of time X (time + additional time) ].
Recently, a quite large number of investigation is published on the subject of Flexible Manufacturing System which can cope with the volatile market demand and the variety of product. Minimum requirement of designing FMS is depicted and by investigating the communication system between the machine tool and the cell control computer, ana between the central computer and the cell control computer, when it is formed as a sub-system of an FEM, the software can be evolved to the control software of the total Flexible Manufacturing System. It is developed the communication system between the central computer and the cell control computer which is the basic structure of the control architecture of FMS under the concept of DNC (Direct Numerical Control). It is used CYBER 180-830 as the central computer, and GMC-1100 computer as the cell control computer, and the main basic program is developed and tested, thus forming a DNC system which can be used in educational environment.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the association between educational environment (physical environment of cooking institutes and curriculum) and satisfaction with learning of students at local cooking institutes. Self-administered questionnaires were distributed to 300 student enrolled at cooking institutes located in Pohang and Gyeongju, and a total of 265 were usable. Collected data were statistically analyzed using SPSS 12.0 by frequency, factor, reliability, t-test and Duncan's multiple range test. The results can be summarized as follows. Most of the subjects were enrolled at cooking institutes to learn Korean and Western cuisine. There were significant differences in learning according to institution, facility, method and instructor. There were also significant differences in learning according to gender, age, education, and attended classes. Based on the results, the physical environment of cooking institutes contributed to learning in the students, but the operation system also needs to be improved. However, study was limited in sample size and area, the results can-not be generalized.
This study aimed to develop and pilot-test educational program prototypes of training health coaches to help cancer patients overcome crises and create positive growth. For this purpose, the educational contents and methods of the blended learning program prototypes were derived through learner needs and literature analysis. The prototypes, which consist of introducing of health management and health information and understanding and practice of basic coaching and health coaching, were developed to integrate with four sessions of face-to-face, off-line classes, training practices through 12 tele-classes, and use of online learning system. The prototypes were conducted and pilot-tested by a total of 35 students selected through the document screening and the interview. After participating in the blended learning program, learners expressed greater overall satisfaction with each session program (average score = 4.36, with 5 being most satisfied), satisfaction with learning contents (average score=4.42) satisfaction with course preparation (average score = 4.26) and satisfaction with lecture materials (average score = 4.19). The results of this study show that a systematic and integrative approach for designing a blended learning program can be useful for various educational needs in health and medical fields. In the future, empirical studies are expected to see how these curricula are actually implemented and assess whether the intended learning outcomes are achieved.
As with the January 2005 amendment of the Act on Private Participation in Infrastructure, schools are now included in the scope of privately-funded infrastructure projects. According to the announcement made by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology in 2007, a total of 1.1 billion-won stimulus package has been proposed and is being implemented to operate private investments in social infrastructure helping to secure sufficient educational facilities for a period of five years from 2005 to 2010. Private participation offers first-priority infrastructure in a timely manner, raises efficiency with creative project conception and design, and stimulates economy by tapping into unemployed fund. This study limited its scope to new school construction projects in Gyeonggi Province which have been implemented via BTL system since January 2005. And using field-inspection and interview techniques, the study proposed improvement schemes applicable to the field. The results will be fully incorporated into new school construction projects to be carried out in the future, to help build creative learning space-student-oriented quality structures-where in Korea's leaders of the 21st century knowledge-based society will be educated.
Objective : This study aimed to investigate Korean medical students' satisfaction with Korean medicine education and their trust in Korean medicine. It also explored the factors affecting satisfaction with Korean medicine education and trust in Korean medicine. Methods : Based on a total of 381 survey responses, the satisfaction with Korean medicine education, reflection of educational needs, trust in Korean medicine, reasons for maladjustment to education, and suggestions for improving education were analyzed. Results : Satisfaction with Korean medicine education and trust in Korean medicine were generally above average. However, reflection of educational needs was below average. It was found that the curriculum should be rearranged according to the needs of premedical students and medical students. The factors affecting satisfaction with Korean medicine education were gender, academic year, dropout experience, trust in Korean medicine, and reflection of educational needs. Factors affecting trust in Korean medicine were gender, academic year, and satisfaction with Korean medicine education. Conclusion : This study found that satisfaction with Korean medicine education and trust in Korean medicine have a reciprocal relationship. To improve students' satisfaction and adjustment to Korean medicine education, it is necessary to implement strategies to increase students' trust in Korean medicine. In addition, it is important for students and instructors to collaborate on curriculum design by establishing a feedback system that reflects students' needs.
The purpose of the study was to review the recent literature on applying augmented reality based educational contents for students with autism spectrum disorders and to identify research trends and implications. The search procedures through the Web-database system were implemented to find the proper research and a total of 12 studies were included in this review. The results indicated that most of subjects were elementary school-age children, also single subject design was mostly implemented. Mobile devices were used mostly for augmented reality, and most of data collection methods was behavioral observation. Results founded several contents types: objects manipulation, manipulation for self-modeling, on-site problem solving program, and location-based learning guide. Additionally, the results indicated that the educational effectiveness was the improvements of social behaviors, play and imitation behaviors, and emotion recognition. Furthermore, considerations to develop and apply augmented reality based educational contents for students with autism spectrum disorders were suggested.
The purpose of this study was to use the Kano model to compare and analyze the educational service quality attributes of domestic and foreign culinary arts schools. For this purpose, a questionnaire-based survey was completed by 312 students who were studying in domestic and foreign culinary schools. The results of the study indicated that 23 of the total 25 attributes were significantly different between domestic and foreign culinary arts school.; the "minium 4 hour-kitchen class" and "mandatory internship program" were classified into "indifferent quality" for domestic schools and a "must-be quality" for foreign schools; "well-organized internship guidebook", "kitchen class limited to 20 students", "introducing the latest food or restaurant trends", "library with the latest publications related to major", "objective instructor's evaluation", "detailed instructor's evaluation", "instructor's field experience", and "decent communication skills on the part of the instructor" attributes were classified into "attractive quality" for domestic schools and "must-be quality" for foreign schools; and "kitchen classes operated by block system", and "foreign instructors for each ethnic cuisine" attributes were classified into "indifferent" and "attractive quality" for both domestic and foreign schools, respectively. Also, according to the Better and Worse quotient designed by Timko, there were more attributes for domestic school than for foreign school that scored over 0.5 in the Better category and fewer attributes for domestic than the foreign scored over 0.5 in the Worse category. The results also indicate that, students in foreign schools receive an educational service of better quality than students in a domestic school. As a result, this research suggests significant implications to develop culinary educational services.

BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: To encourage schools to transform school meal programs to be more educational, it is necessary to evaluate the related environment using a whole school approach. We developed a school food culture evaluation tool to quantitatively evaluate school food culture in Gyeonggi Province, Korea. SUBJECTS/METHODS: Based on a literature review, a school food culture evaluation system consisting of areas, subareas, indicators, and questions (scored on a 5-point scale) was constructed. The validity of the tool was reviewed using focus group interviews, the Delphi technique, and a preliminary survey. Subsequently, evaluation tool was applied to elementary, middle, and high schools in Gyeonggi Province. Data from 115 schools were used for the final analysis. This included 64 elementary schools, 29 middle schools, and 22 high schools. At least one respondent from each group-school administrators, teachers, and nutrition teachers (or dietitians)-participated. The results were compared at the school level. RESULTS: The evaluation tool consisted of 66 questions in 5 areas (institutional environment, physical environment, educational environment, educational governance, and school meal quality). The total average score for school food culture was 3.83 points (elementary school 3.89 points, middle school 3.76 points, and high school 3.76 points) and did not differ significantly among school levels. Among the 5 evaluation areas, scores were highest for institutional environment (4.43 points) and lowest for physical environment (3.07 points). Scores for educational environment, educational governance, and school meal quality were 3.86, 3.85, and 3.97 points, respectively. CONCLUSION: It is necessary to improve the physical environment to create a desirable school food culture in Gyeonggi Province. To effectively promote healthy eating, ongoing investment and interventions by local authorities at improving school food culture are needed, with an emphasis on particular factors, such as the eating environment and staff training.
