  • We obtain generalized versions of the Fan-Browder fixed point theorem for G-convex spaces. We define the class B of better admissible multimaps on G-convex spaces and show that any closed compact map in b fro ma locally G-convex uniform space into itself has a fixed point.

Category of H-fuzzy Semtiopogenous Spaces

  • In this paper, we introduce the notion of H-fuzzy esmitopogenous spaces. In section 1, we give the preliminary definitions and some basic results. In section 2, we show that category HFS of H-fuzzy semitiopogenous spaces and continuous maps between them is topological and cotopological. Using ordinary operations, we characterize coreflective subcatgories and then show that each of Top, Prox, Qunif, and Unig is isomorphic with some coreflective subcategory of HFS. Moreover, we show that sa-HFS is closed under the formation of initial sources in a-HFS, whewe a is a symmetrical elementary operation.

Structures of Fuzzy Relations

  • In this paper we consider the notion of fuzzy relation as a generalization of that of fuzzy set. For a complete Heyting algebra L. the category set(L) of all L-fuzzy sets is shown to be a bireflective subcategory of the category Rel(L) of all L-fuzzy relations and L-fuzzy relation preserving maps. We investigate categorical structures of subcategories of Rel(L) in view of quasitopos. Among those categories, we include the category L-fuzzy similarity relations with respect to both max-min and max-product compositions, respectively, as a cartesian closed topological category. Moreover, we describe exponential objects explicitly in terms of function space.

Feature-Based Image Retrieval using SOM-Based R*-Tree

  • Feature-based similarity retrieval has become an important research issue in multimedia database systems. The features of multimedia data are useful for discriminating between multimedia objects (e 'g', documents, images, video, music score, etc.). For example, images are represented by their color histograms, texture vectors, and shape descriptors, and are usually high-dimensional data. The performance of conventional multidimensional data structures(e'g', R- Tree family, K-D-B tree, grid file, TV-tree) tends to deteriorate as the number of dimensions of feature vectors increases. The R*-tree is the most successful variant of the R-tree. In this paper, we propose a SOM-based R*-tree as a new indexing method for high-dimensional feature vectors.The SOM-based R*-tree combines SOM and R*-tree to achieve search performance more scalable to high dimensionalities. Self-Organizing Maps (SOMs) provide mapping from high-dimensional feature vectors onto a two dimensional space. The mapping preserves the topology of the feature vectors. The map is called a topological of the feature map, and preserves the mutual relationship (similarity) in the feature spaces of input data, clustering mutually similar feature vectors in neighboring nodes. Each node of the topological feature map holds a codebook vector. A best-matching-image-list. (BMIL) holds similar images that are closest to each codebook vector. In a topological feature map, there are empty nodes in which no image is classified. When we build an R*-tree, we use codebook vectors of topological feature map which eliminates the empty nodes that cause unnecessary disk access and degrade retrieval performance. We experimentally compare the retrieval time cost of a SOM-based R*-tree with that of an SOM and an R*-tree using color feature vectors extracted from 40, 000 images. The result show that the SOM-based R*-tree outperforms both the SOM and R*-tree due to the reduction of the number of nodes required to build R*-tree and retrieval time cost.

인접하는 수치지도 간의 경계영역 불일치 보정 (Correcting Inconsistency on the Boundary of Neighboring Maps)

  • 인접하는 수치지도 경계상의 불일치 문제를 해결하기 위해서 중간선 방법이 광범위하게 사용되어 왔다. 하지만, 이 방법은 인접하는 경계선 주위의 객체에 대해서 위상정보의 일관성을 상실하거나 정확도의 저하를 초래할 수 있다 본 논문에서는 이러한 중간선 방법의 문제점을 해결하기 위해서 두 가지 에지 메칭 방법을 제시한다 첫 번째 방법은 경계선 주위에 위치하고 있는 객체에 대해서 신축적으로 변환하는 러버쉬팅에 기초한 방법이다. 두 번째 방법은 경계선으로부터의 거리 함수를 이용하여 객체들의 기하적인 정보를 변환한다. 이러한 방법들은 이전의 방법에 비해서 위상정보를 유지하고 정확도를 향상시키는 장점이 있다.

XP-SWMM을 이용한 도시화 유역에서의 유출 관리 방안 연구 (Management Scheme of Urbanization Runoff Using XP-SWMM)

  • 최근 급격한 인구증가와 산업화, 도시화로 포장지역의 증가에 따른 불투수지역의 증가로 유역의 유출 특성의 변화를 유발시키고 있다. 도시화 유역의 효율적인 관리를 위해서는 유역에 내할 정확할 지형인자 및 수문 관련 인자들을 추출해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 GIS와 XP-SWMM을 이용하여 안양천유역의 유출분석을 수행하였다. 안양천 유역을 GIS를 이용하여 13개의 소유역으로 분할하고 입력자료를 구축하였다. GIS를 이용하여 지형도로부터 각각의 소유역에 대하여 면적, 경사도, 폭과 하천 각 구간의 길이, 경사도를 얻었고, 토지이용도와 토양도로부터 불투수비, 토지이용상태, 침투능에 내한 정보를 얻었다. 여기서 얻은 결과를 토대로, 안양천 유역에 도시유출 모형인 XP-SWMM을 적용하여 도시화유역의 관리방안을 제시하였다.

근대(近代) 도시화(都市化)에 따른 전라도(全羅道) 전통(傳統) 소도읍(小都邑)의 공간구조변화과정(空間構造變化過程) 연구(硏究) (A study on the Transformation Process of Traditional Small City Structure in Jeollabuk-Do)

  • This study is to analyse the transformation process of spatial structure of traditional small city structure in Jeollabuk-Do in the process of modern urbanization between 19th century and the year 2000. The small cities, IM-PI, YONG-AN, YEO-SAN, OK-GOO, GO-SAN, MU-JANG, GUM-MA, GO-BU, which have been local administrative center in CHO-SUN dynasty, have role of local administrative center of subdivision of country-myon, except OK-GOO. The method of this study is to investigate the transformation process of spatial structural elements of with the actual field surveys, the analysis of Gunhyun map made in 1872, land registration maps in 1910s and 2000, and various topological maps. The elements of analysis are the topological site and geographical situation conditions, the urbanized areas, the street systems, the function of streets, the focal points of urban land use, the land use systems, and the location of major facilities such as administration facilities, markets, bus terminals. The analytical point of view and the results are as follows. There is strong relationship between the transformation of internal matrix route system and the growth pattern of urbanized areas, Especially on the contrary to the matrix route with East-West direction which has the role of checking the growth of urbanized area, the South-North direction route acts as the leading line of the growth. The focal points structure of urban land use shows transformation process from the point of central space of administrative district in front of Nae-A, to the access point to administrative district or to the access point to housing and neighborhood commercial area. From the point of functional area structure and major facilities location, line-type commercial area is developed along the line of central axis route and access route to administrative district. Especially direction of the growth of commercial area is strongly connected with the interrelationship between the study area and its neighboring cities. Pattern of commercial district development is varied with the direction of matrix route. That is, commercial district, which shows one side development pattern along the East-West direction route, is developed on both sides of street along the South-North direction route.

영상기반 자동항법을 위한 실시간 위치인식 및 지도작성 (Real-time Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) for Vision-based Autonomous Navigation)

  • 본 논문에서는 넓은 지역에서의 영상기반 자동 항법을 위한 실시간 위치인식 및 지도작성 방법을 제안한다. 한 대의 카메라에서 입력된 영상으로부터 제안된 방법은 6 자유도 카메라 자세와 3 차원 특징점 위치를 연속적으로 계산한다. 제안된 방법은 넓은 지역을 주행하며 촬영된 영상에 적용하여 그 위치와 환경지도를 성공적으로 작성하였이다. 본 논문에서는 이진기술자(binary descriptor)와 수치-위상(metric-topological)지도 표현법을 사용하여 GPU 나 영상의 축소 없이 실시간 성능과 광범위한 지역에서의 회귀점 검출(loop detection)을 하였다. 제안된 방법은 여러 환경에서 촬영된 영상과, 해당 영상의 GPS 기준값과 비교하여 평가하였다.

TOPOLOGIES AND INCIDENCE STRUCTURE ON Rn-GEOMETRIES

  • An R$^{n}$ -geometry (P$^{n}$ , L) is a generalization of the Euclidean geometry on R$^{n}$ (see Def. 1.1). We can consider some topologies (see Def. 2.2) on the line set L such that the join operation V : P$^{n}$ $\times$ P$^{n}$ \ $\Delta$ longrightarrow L is continuous. It is a notable fact that in the case n = 2 the introduced topologies on L are same and the join operation V : P$^2$ $\times$ P$^2$ \ $\Delta$ longrightarrow L is continuous and open [10, 11]. It is a fundamental topological property of plane geometry, but in the cases n $\geq$ 3, it is no longer true. There are counter examples [2]. Hence, it is a fundamental problem to find suitable topologies on the line set L in an R$^{n}$ -geometry (P$^{n}$ , L) such that these topologies are compatible with the incidence structure of (P$^{n}$ , L). Therefore, we need to study the topologies of the line set L in an R$^{n}$ -geometry (P$^{n}$ , L). In this paper, the relations of such topologies on the line set L are studied.
