This study was conducted to discover the meaning and the essential structure of the experiences of nursing students' introductory clinical practice. The participants were eight nursing students who had carried out the introductory clinical practice at a hospital. The data was collected from July 15 2019 to July 31, 2019 through focus group discussions and in-depth individual interviews using non-structured questionnaires. The data was analyzed by Colaizzi's phenomenological analysis methodology. The introductory clinical practice experienced by nursing students was categorized as followed: 'Feel worried and concern about expectations at the same time', 'Hospital experience as reality', 'Becoming accustomed to complexed emotion's, 'The first step of becoming a nurse', and 'Preparation for the future'. The five categories were expanded in the same context according to time. The essential structure of the clinical introductory practice experiences of the nursing students revealed by the study is that they begin to practice feeling worried and concerned about expectations, and concern about experience and adaption to various situations, emotions and preparation for the future. Based on the results obtained from this study, it is necessary to develop a realistic and effective education program before starting clinical practice.
The purpose of the thesis is to answer the question on how the visual image content, being the original content, should be adapted to and represented as a spatial content. The thesis focuses on adaptation as the key in the conversion process of visual image content to a themed space. There are many published studies dealing with storytelling, adaptation from books to movies and TV shows, or from movies to games and vice versa. On the contrary, when it comes to adaptation from visual image content to spatial content, noticeably few studies were done on the method, and fewer studies view adaptation as the prior step of storytelling. This study first defines adaptation, and then applies the methods of Gianetty and Dudley which is further incorporated into the conversion of visual image content into a themed space. It then turns the attention to the characteristics of themed spaces. A case study highlights that a themed space is a spatial representation of the story, image and action in the visual image content, and analyze the type of adaptation made. The study results draws two conclusions; adaptation must be carried out prior to the storytelling of the spatial content; and opposed to a third-person view of the visual image content, the main factor in a themed space is first-hand experience. Thus, the thesis suggests that conversion from visual image content to themed spaces are not merely imitative but is a full range of recreation of a new content. It is expected that more detailed analyses on the particulars will lead to feasible outcome on implementing various methods of adaptation and bring about effective conversions between the visual image contents and themed spaces.
This study is a process to study the life drawing teaching method considering professional characteristics in animation and has a study objective to design the model and teaching method which applies the strategies considering the creative mechanism of the brain. Recently, study results about integrated teaching method are being announced which apply brain based learning principles as the alternative arguments about teaching methods in each area based on creativeness. In other words, integrated education based on creative mechanism in the brain is applied not only to fine arts and drawing education, but also to the entire areas of the arts. Life drawing is an area which demands comprehensive teaching method that vivid expressions could be skillfully obtained by understanding the communication methods with the objects through cognitive senses, creativeness and movements beyond the structural knowledge about human body. Therefore in this study, the strategies and methods for the skillfulness of life drawing and consequently arranged education model structure drawing are to be designed based on the creativeness, study materials and content factors which were analyzed in previous stages of this study. In order to combine the content factors based on creativeness and study materials of the brain which are the results of previous studies, the conclusion has been reached that 5 step cognitive strategy stages to wake brain senses, flexibilize the brain, purify the brain, integrate the brain and become the master of the brain. Strategic methods to execute this were designed with brain gym, right brain energization drawing and HSP(high-level cognizance) training. Teaching and learning model structure diagram which is designed based on this is to be continued to teaching and learning guidelines during the relevant semesters after the research.
Hobun(Oyster shell W.) is a traditional material used as extender and white pigment from ancient times. The production method of it, however, has been discontinued. We have studied the traditional production method of Hobun through calcination of oyster shell, which is one of the traditional ways for preparing Hobun. Our work has the important meaning in that we can reproduce the manufacturing method of the discontinued traditional material and also it provides a solid background knowledge to stabilize the production and supply of Hobun for the cultural asset repairing materials. The result can be summarized as followings: The production processes of Hobun by calcination method are divided into 4 steps - calcination ${\rightarrow}$ slaking(pulverization) ${\rightarrow}$ separating fine powder by submergence in water ${\rightarrow}$ drying. In calcination step, the temperature is required to exceed $700^{\circ}$ to get pure white color of Hobun, since organic materials in the shell cause the final powder to be less white below $600^{\circ}$. And the calcination methods produce significant amount of calcium hydroxide, which is incongruent for pigment materials without additional treatments. The experimental study also demonstrated that the additional treatment process introduced in traditional paintings can be a probable process since the calcium of potassium hydroxide is observed to be promoted by this treatment. It is also concluded that, the calcination method of Hobun is appropriate for a small amount and high quality production.
As a study on the ATP-inhibited ribonuclease of Bacillus subtilis the screening work for obtaining the ATP-inhibited ribonuclease negative mutant were carried out. And mutant strain was selected by the treatment of N-methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine (NTG). For the selected strain the enzyme purification and some physiological properties were examined and the results obtained were as follows. 1. Among tested 1817 strains with the treatment of NTG, 101 strain was selected as a mutant strain. 2. ATP-inhibited ribonuclease was tentatively purified by several independent column chromatography. The results with Sephadex G-75 column were 30 times purification, 99% recovery, and 20 times purification, 98% recovery, respectively. 3. ATP-inhibited ribonuclease was purified by 60 times through acid treatment, ammonium fractionation, and two successive chromatography. 4. The purified ribonuclease were shown to be effectively concentrated in robonnclease content and to have reduced numbers of protein band on Disc electrophoresis. 5. This enzyme degraded single-stranded RNA to 2',3'-cyclic AMP, 2',3'-cyclic CMP, 2',3,-cyclic GMP, 2',3'-cyclic UMP and some unknown intermediates. The enzyme could not split double-stranded RNA.

There is developing interest in precision agriculture in Korea, despite the fact that typical Korean fields are less than 1 ha in size. Describing within-field variability in typical Korean production settings is a fundamental first step toward determining the size of management zones and the inter-relationships between limiting factors, for establishment of site-specific management strategies. Measurements of rice (Oriza Sativa L) yield, chlorophyll content, and soil properties were obtained in a small (100-m by 30-m) Korean rice paddy field. Yield data were manually collected on 10-m by 5-m grids (180 samples with 3 samples in each of 60 grid cells) and chlorophyll content was measured using a Minolta SPAD 502 in 2-m by 2-m grids. Soil samples were collected at 275 points to compare results from sampling at different scales. Ten soil properties important for rice production in Korea were determined through laboratory analyses. Variogram analysis and point kriging with and without median polishing were conducted to determine the variability of the measured parameters. Influence of variogram model selection and other parameters on the interpretation of the data was investigated. For many of the data, maximum values were greater than double the minimum values, indicating considerable spatial variability in the small paddy field, and large-scale spatial trends were present. When variograms were fit to the original data, the limits of spatial dependency for rice yield and SP AD reading were 11.5 m and 6.5 m, respectively, and after detrending the limits were reduced to 7.4 m and 3.9 m. The range of spatial dependency for soil properties was variable, with several having ranges as short as 2 m and others having ranges greater than 30 m. Kriged maps of the variables clearly showed the presence of both large-scale (trend) variability and small-scale variability in this small field where it would be reasonable to expect uniformity. These findings indicate the potential for applying the principles and technology of precision agriculture for Korean paddy fields. Additional research is needed to confirm the results with data from other fields and crops.d similar tendency with the result for the frequency less than 20 Hz, but the width of change was reduced highly.
Because of the different shooting position between multi-view cameras and the imperfect camera calibration, Illumination mismatches of multi-view video can happen. This variation can bring about the performance decrease of multi-view video coding(MVC) algorithm. A histogram matching algorithm can be applied to recompensate these inconsistencies in a prefiltering step. Once all camera frames of a multi-view sequence are adjusted to a predefined reference through the histogram matching, the coding efficiency of MVC is improved. However the histogram distribution can be different not only between neighboring views but also between sequential views on account of movements of camera angle and some objects, especially human. Therefore the histogram matching algorithm which references all frames in chose view is not appropriate for compensating the illumination differences of these sequence. Thus we propose new algorithms both the image classification algorithm which is applied two criteria to improve the correlation between inter-view frames and the histogram matching which references and matches with a group of pictures(GOP) as a unit to advance the correlation between successive frames. Experimental results show that the compression ratio for the proposed algorithm is improved comparing with the conventional algorithms.
This research is to explore the direction of circus education in Korea by the case study of Circus Professional Training Program, which was held by Seoul Foundation Arts and Culture for the first time in Korea. The study was conducted via interviews of three participants who completed Circus Professional Training Program to comprehend their experiences of participating the programs in Korea and France. Result of this study revealed that the participants were able to set their goals to jump up, and expand their movements through the program that was held in Korea. Experiencing the great cirus world in France, they showed eagerness to go back and get more training. Despite of these positive effects, they have faced a difficulty how to continue their leaning and goals for the circus in the absence of circus facilities and places to practice. The system that they can take the next step is not ready yet, either. There should be some solutions to these problems. In order to develop the circus education, they hoped that Seoul Foundation Arts and Culture continues circus education with consistency. In addition to that, many national and circus educational organizations should be activated to establish the circus professional educational system.

The purpose of this paper is to develop evaluation methods in order to apply effective problem-based learning (PBL). To observe the effectiveness of a PBL system on learners and to comprehend the learning process of a PBL application, analysis of reflective journals and an evaluation questionnaire completed by participants (n=68) were used. The participants of the study were recruited from Hankyong National University students who undertook first-year Creative Engineering Design. A total of four problems for the PBL-based lectures were designed and applied to 12 weeks of PBL lectures. The participants completed reflective journals upon completion of each PBL problem-based activity; upon completion of the last PBL problem, participants completed and submitted a PBL system class-evaluation questionnaire. Also the participants completed an evaluation questionnaire at each step of the instructional procedures for each PBL problem-based activity. The findings of the research show that the participants increased their comprehension of PBL systems, their understanding of lecture content and of cooperative learning, and improved their self-reflection, authentic experience, creative problem-solving skills, communication skills, documentation skills, presentation skills, observational skills, and evaluation skills. The participants described how learning through PBL increased their confidence, satisfaction, and sense of achievement, compared to the previous semester.

The process of international technical cooperation is quite complex. If the complexity is reduced and mirrored as a simple model, it could be of great assistance to government agencies and staff to support international technical cooperation. The purpose of this paper was to develop the underlying process model in international technical cooperation in the evaluation phase. The paper provides in the second chapter the theoretical background for developing a process model. In the third chapter, the features and the practical model of the evaluation phase are presented. Chapter four presents a case with substantial empirical analysis of the development model. EU FP7th as a case study was examined in the hindsight of international technical cooperation in the evaluation process. The concluding, chapter five, presents the limitations and future research directions. The results show that a new phase can be analyzed on the level of the evaluation step. The limitation of this study was that the empirical study consists of a single case study only. In the future, it will be necessary to study the sub stages of other steps in international technological cooperation.
