근거기반실무를 활용한 기본간호학 수업 운영의 효과 (Effect of Fundamental Nursing Class using Evidence-Based Practice)

  • 근거기반실무 간호교육은 학습자의 수준에 따라 단계적으로 경험하며 숙련되도록 이끌어야한다. 본 연구는 근거기반실무의 일부를 통합한 간호학과 2학년의 기본간호학 수업을 운영하고 근거기반실무의 기초역량 향상에 대한 효과를 검증하였다. 연구 설계는 비동등성 대조군 전후 유사실험설계이었다. 대상자는 2개 대학교의 간호학과 2학년 재학생 108명이었다. 실험군은 2016년 2학기 15주 수업기간 중 총 8주, 24시간의 근거기반실무를 활용한 기본간호학 수업에 참여하였고 대조군은 일반적 기본간호학 수업에 참여하였다. 자료는 자가보고형의 문제해결 적극성, 근거기반실무 적용의도, 그리고 비판적 사고성향 측정도구로 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 23.0 program을 이용하여 동질성은 Chi-square 검정과 독립표본 t-검정으로, 가설 검정은 독립표본 t-검정으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과 실험군은 대조군에 비해 문제해결 적극성과 근거기반실무 적용의도에서 유의한 증가를 보였다. 그러나 비판적 사고는 두 군 간에 차이가 없었다. 근거기반실무를 활용한 기본간호학 수업은 저학년 학생의 근거기반실무 기초역량인 문제해결 적극성과 근거기반실무 적용의도의 증가에 효과적이었다. 근거기반실무에 대한 학년별 목표에 적합한 교과과정에 의한 간호학생들의 근거기반실무 역량과 비판적 사고의 향상에 대한 장기적 노력이 더 필요하다.

일 대학 간호학생들의 학습유형 별 문제중심학습의 효과 (Effect of Problem-based Learning by the Type of Learning in Nursing Students in a Single University)

  • 본 연구는 간호학생들의 학습유형 별 문제중심학습 효과를 확인하고자 실시된 단일군 전 후 설계 실험연구이다. 연구대상자는 A시에 소재하는 일 개 대학교 간호학과 4학년 학생 131명의 학생들을 대상으로 하였으며, 이중 125명의 자료를 이용하였다. 연구기간은 2016년 4월 18일 부터 6월 10일까지 8주 동안이었으며, 자료 분석은 서술통계, ANOVA, ${\chi}^2$-test, t-test로 하였다. 본 연구결과 간호학생들의 학습유형은 수렴자가 가장 많았으며, 적응자, 융합자, 분산자의 순으로 나타났다. 간호학생들의 문제중심학습 후에 학습몰입, 문제해결능력, 비판적 사고성향은 유의하게 높게 나타났으며, 학습유형 별 문제중심학습에 있어서 문제해결능력은 수렴자가 적응자보다 유의하게 높게 나타났다. 문제중심학습 적용에 있어서 학습유형별 학습몰입과 비판적 사고성향은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았으나 모든 학습유형에서 학습몰입과 비판적 사고성향이 증가되었다. 이에 본 연구결과는 학습유형 별로 교수학습전략이 필요함을 시사한다고 볼 수 있다. 그러므로 간호대상자의 건강문제 발생 시 비판적 사고를 바탕으로 신속하게 문제를 파악하고 해결해 나가는 데 있어서 필수적인 문제중심학습법을 적용함에 있어 학습유형 별로 약점은 보완하고 강점은 강화하는 교수학습 전략 방안의 모색이 필요하다.

  • Concept about health is rapidly changed into 21C. thinking logic of customer about food is changed from just food to safety food by disposition of consumption about foodsafety. But government, manufacturer, distribution trader and seller which have different recognitions about foodsafety lose trust of customer. Because they did't focus on thinking changed of customer about foodsafety. Our thinking about rapidly changed food safety being intergrated with IT technology is helping to expand and supply into market. In this article, We'll study Traceability System about cattle and pig related to food. this system was developed in livestock market. In this study, we problems from these systems after studying present construction positions of these systems and purpose of this study is investigation of actual use condition. Also purpose of this study abstracts problems which will be developed and researched.

간호에서의 임상적 비판적 사고능력에 대한 개념분석 (Concept Analysis on the Clinical Critical Thinking Ability in Nursing)

  • Purpose: The present study was designed to understand the conceptual definition and attributes of the clinical critical thinking ability(CCTA) in nursing and to grasp the characteristics of clinical critical thinking abilities. Methods: The data were analyzed using the Hybrid model of Schwartz-Barcott and Kim(2000). Results: Having the skills and dispositions to think critically, CCTA refers to something that implies the cognizant ability to interpret contextual meanings, analyze the relationships between materials or circumstances, draw out the best conclusions, predict things using relevant information and evaluate the reliability of information and the strength of inference on the one hand and the emphatic disposition to be curious, open-minded, intellectually integral, systematic and creative and to reflect on things in contextual terms on the other. Conclusion: CCTA is characterized by clinical circumstances, such as guessing the reasons for facts, predicting things, connecting theory to practice and approaching individual situation in total terms as well as by the Korean circumstances, such as taking another person's perspective. Hence, this study proposes developing the tools to measure the clinical critical thinking ability and the strategies to improve the clinical critical thinking ability and seeking to verify their validity, on the basis of the findings.

Influence of Computer Attitude on Critical Thinking Disposition

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of computer attitudes such as anxiety, confidence, preference, usefulness, and computer literacy on their critical thinking ability, targeting college students at unspecified university universities. The period of data collection was from January 10, 2020 to January 17, 2020. A total of 213 people participated in the study. For data analysis, SPSS 18.0 was used for frequency analysis, Pearson correlation, x2 square, and simple regression analysis. As a result of the analysis, the difference of interests under the statistical significance level among general characteristics was Gender (x2=55.7***, p<0.001), Age (x2=407.5***, p<0.001), Resident (x2=127.5***, p<0.001) Family (x2=289.4***, p<0.001). In the simple regression analysis, computer liking (t=2.102, p<0.05) and computer use ability affected Truth seeking (t=-6.319, p<0.01), computer use ability was affecting analyticity (t=-5.630, p<0.01), computer use ability was affecting systematicity (t=-2.545, p<0.05), computer use ability was affecting maturity under statistical significance (t=-2.583, p<0.05). In conclusion, this study suggests that computer liking and computer use ability affect the sub-factor components of critical thinking disposition, truth seeking, analyticity, systematicity, and maturity, therefore the emphasis of this study is to emphasize that it is desirable to use the computer as a medium of learning based on computer literacy rather than worrying about excessive computer use.

상급 종합병원 간호사의 근거기반실무 준비도에 대한 영향요인 (Factors Influencing Evidence-Based Practice Readiness for Tertiary General Hospital Nurses)

  • 본 연구는 상급종합병원간호사의 비판적사고, 간호조직문화 유형, 근거기반실무 준비도를 파악하고, 근거기반실무 준비도(지식/기술, 태도, 조직의 지원)에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 자료는 2013년 3월 21일부터 3월 28일까지 2개 상급종합병원에서 근무하는 간호사 160명을 대상으로 조사하였다. 수집된 자료는 t-test, ANOVA, 상관분석, 회귀분석으로 검정하였으며, 모든 검정의 유의수준은 p<.05이었다. 근거기반실무지식/기술의 영향요인은 비판적사고이었으며 34.7% 예측 설명하였고, 근거기반실무 태도의 영향요인은 근거기반실무지식/기술, 외과병동이었으며 14.2% 예측 설명하였다. 근거기반실무를 위한 조직의 지원에 대한 영향요인은 혁신지향문화, 관계지향문화이었으며 24.6% 예측 설명하였다. 따라서 근거기반실무 도입과 활성화를 위해서 간호부 차원에서의 비판적 사고와 근거기반실무 지식/기술을 높이기 위한 교육프로그램 개발 및 적용과 더불어 간호조직의 문화를 혁신지향문화로 조성하기 위한 체계적 지원구축이 요구된다.

성과기반 간호교육에서 팀기반학습 적용의 효과 (The Effects of Team-Based Learning on Outcome based Nursing Education)

  • 본 연구는 성인간호학 분야의 심장계 환자간호에서 팀기반학습 프로그램을 개발하고, 간호학생들에게 적용하여 교과목 학습성과로서 문제해결능력, 비판적 사고성향, 학업성취도, 그리고 수업만족도에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위해 시도되었다. 연구방법은 비동등성 대조군 전후설계인 유사실험연구이고, G시 4년제 간호학과 2학년 학생들을 편의표집하여 실험군 52명, 대조군 54명을 대상으로, 실험군은 2014년 2학기 중 주당 3시간씩 2주 동안 팀기반학습을 적용하고, 대조군은 동 기간동안 강의 및 사례적용 발표수업을 제공하였다. 연구 결과, 팀기반학습을 적용한 실험군과 적용하지 않은 대조군의 문제해결능력(F=5.92, p=.017)과 수업만족도 점수(F=5.80, p=.018)는 실험군이 대조군 보다 통계적으로 유의하게 높았다. 그러나 비판적 사고성향과 학업성취도 점수는 실험군이 대조군보다 높았으나 통계적인 유의한 차이는 없었다. 이상의 연구결과를 통해 간호교육에 팀기반학습의 적용은 간호학생들의 중요한 학습성과인 문제해결능력에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고, 수업만족도를 높일 수 있음이 확인되었다.

간호조무사의 근무환경인식과 성격성향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Working Environment Recognition and the Caracter Disposition of Nurse Aides)

  • As the whole world took on the tendency to be highly industrialized, it became necessary for each field of occupation to require professional man power. Especially, since the World War n, the participation of woman power in economic activities has been continually increasing. In our country also, because of the rapid economic growth, change in the way of thinking of women as well as their participation in economic activities are increasing. Thus, woman power is being utilized in various occupational fields from simple physical labor to those that require high-professional skill. Also, continued economic development policies, by setting the establishment of welfare society as the ideology to be fulfilled, brought expansion of medical facilities in the field of public health and increase in man power in that field. As for the nursing specialists, more than 6000 have been being produced per year and as of the end of 1988, the total number of nursing specialists, reached 123, 115. Therefore, this study is done to recognize the professional knowledge and ability of nursing specialists, who take up $40\%$ of the total public-health related man power in our country, through evaluating their working environment and their disposition of character. This study, which was done from September 18th to September 30th 1989, took on the method of using formed questionnaires that had been amended and supplemented during two preparatory investigations, 322 of such questionnaires were used as an analytical material. In the formation of questionnaires, 12 questions were related to the working environment, and 26 in fortotal were related to the disposition of character, 5 for wise-disposition, 11 for activedisposition and 10 for open-disposition. The measuring method, which used 5-point-standard, allowed 5 points for affirmative recognition of the working environment, also 5 points for showing wise, active and open disposition of character and only point in opposite cases. Collected materials were analyzed, through an electronic calculation, into the average value, the standard deflection percentage, pearson corelative number and stepwise multiple regression. Summarizing the results from this study is as follows: 1. It was shown that the nursing specialists with the average of 3.07 have affirmative recognition of their working environment. The questions which drew most affirmative reaction were those concerning finance-management system such as hand, the questions that received negative reaction were those concerning communication method with the average of 2.49. Such reaction seems to have resulted from the cramming regulation by the superior authorities. Concerning the recognition of working environment in relation to employment conditions, more affirmative recognition is shown with the average of 3.14. at hospitals where injection job is not performed. The nursing specialists working at regular hospitals show more affirmative recognition than those at general hospitals, the averages being respectiely 3.16 and 3.03. 2. As for the disposition of character of the nursing specialists, active-disposition was highest with the average of 3.38, next was wise-disposition with 3.20 and the lowest was open-diposition with 2.98. Variable-wise disposition of character shows that wise-disposition and academic background are beneficially correlated by 0.12. Ative-disposition and open-disposition show correlation to the office term by respectively 0.16 and 0.21. In other words. better academic background leads to higher wise-disposition and more - experience results in higher active and open disposition. Also, the class that performs the injection job, in relation to the working environment, might cause change in the self-conceit that identify those in that class with the nurses; however, as far as professional judgment and action, in dealing with nursing job, being wise, active and open is concerned, not much effect is made. 3. The relation between the recognition of the working environment and the disposition of character is that more afirmative recognition- a nursing specialist has about her working environment, the higher the active-disposition becomes by 0.13. The degrees of the relation between recongnition of environment and wise and open dispositions show respectively 0.06 and -0.06 and -0.06. That is to say that when having more affirmative recognition of the working environment, a nursing specialist shows wise but closed disposition of character. This, howerver, didn't mean much statistically. When observing the results mentioned above, it is conspicuous that the nursing specialists, working as substitutes for the nurse at medical institutions of various sizes, get the feeling of being somewhat equal to the nurses and to some extent, fulfill their desire to accomplish their ego; however, as far as professional ability expansion if concerned. they lack wise and open dispositions. Therefore, considiering upon the results of this study, in medical institutions where the work of nursing specialists is regaded equal to that of the nurses, as a medical member who deals with human lives, it is desirable to make the nursing specialists work under the supervision of the nurses and to offer them continuous education to strengthen and improve their natural dispositions.

시뮬레이션기반 임상추론 실습교육 프로그램이 간호학생의 간호역량에 미치는 효과 (Effects of a Simulation based Clinical Reasoning Practice Program on Clinical Competence in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of a simulation based clinical reasoning practice program on clinical competence in nursing students. The program was based on the theoretical frameworks of simulation models and experiential learning theory. Methods: The program consisted of eight scenarios which includes three main symptoms (abdominal pain, changes in mental status, dyspnea), for improvement of clinical competencies in nursing students. A nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design was used for evaluation of the effects of the program. Fifty-two junior nursing students in Y University participated in the experimental group (n=25) or control group (n=27). Critical thinking was measured using a self-administered questionnaire. Clinical judgment and clinical performance were measured by a rater using the Rubric. Descriptive analysis, t-test, Mann-Whitney U, Wilcoxon signed rank test was used for data analyses. Results: Clinical judgment and clinical performance increased in the experimental group, but there were no significant differences in critical thinking. Conclusion: Results indicate that the program developed in this study is a useful strategy to enhance clinical judgment and clinical performance in nursing students. However, the program did not significantly enhance critical thinking disposition, and further study is needed to measure integrated clinical competence including critical thinking skills.

시뮬레이션을 적용한 임상추론 교과목의 적용효과: 일 대학의 예를 중심으로 (Evaluation of Effects of a Clinical Reasoning Course among Undergraduate Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: To evaluate undergraduate nursing students' ability in clinical competence, critical thinking, and problem solving following enrollment in a clinical reasoning course. Methods: A clinical reasoning course utilizing a human patient simulator and scenarios was offered to 22 senior students at a College of Nursing in Seoul. Students' clinical competence was measured with a checklist of 15 items by analyzing students' performance recorded on video tapes for eight scenarios. Critical thinking disposition and problem solving were measured by a self-administered questionnaire before and after the course. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Wilcoxon signed-rank test. Results: The high scored items of clinical competence were: 'obtain relevant subjective/objective data', 'interpret vital signs', 'communicate with healthcare providers', and 'utilize standard precautions including handwashing.' Students' critical thinking and problem solving scores following the course were increased with statistical significance. Conclusion: A clinical reasoning course utilizing a human patient simulator creates a realistic clinical environment for nursing students and provides the opportunity to obtain clinical competence, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
