방사선 전신 조사 : 기본 자료 측정 및 생체내에서 선량 측정 (Total Body Irradiation Technique : Basic Data Measurements and In Vivo Dosimetry)

  • This paper describes the basic data measurements for total body irradiation with 6 Mv photon beam including compensators design. The technique uses bilateral opposing fields with tissue compensators for the head, neck, lungs, and legs from the hip to toes. In vivo dosimetry was carried out for determining absorbed dose at various regions in 7 patients using diode detectors(MULTIDOSE,k Model 9310, MULTIDATA Co., USA). As a results, the dose uniformity of${\pm}3.5{\%}$(generally, within${\pm}10{\%}$can be achieved with out total body irradiation technique.

  • 본 논문에서는 움직이는 타깃을 대상으로 처방선량과 치료기법에 따른 흡수선량을 유리선량계를 이용하여 평가하였다. 타깃의 움직임에 따라 조사야에서 벗어나는 정도에 따른 선량을 MCNPX를 이용하여 모의모사하였으며 그 결과 조사야에서 이격하는 거리에 비례하여 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 처방선량에 따른 흡수선량의 결과는 3D CRT의 경우 저선량에서 IMRT보다 흡수선량이 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 대선량에서는 IMRT가 더 높은 비율을 보였다. 치료기법에 따른 결과는 3D CRT가 가장 우수한 것으로 나타났으며, IMRT의 sliding window방식이 가장 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통하여 3D CRT가 움직이는 타깃에 가장 높은 선량을 조사할 수 있는 기법으로 평가되었다. 하지만 정상조직의 보호효과와 환자의 상태 등을 고려한 적절한 치료기법의 선택으로 치료효과를 높일 수 있는 노력이 필요할 것이다.

6MV X-선에 대한 조직 보상체의 제작 및 응용에 관한 연구 (A Study on Design and Application of Tissue Compensator for 6MV X-rays)

  • A radiation beam incident on an irregular or sloping surface produces the non-uniformity of absorded dose. The use of a tissue compensator can partially correct this dose inhomogeneity. The tissue compensator is designed based on the patient's three dimensional contour. After required compensator thickness was determined according to tissue deficit at $25cm\pm25cm$ field size, 10cm depth for 6MV x-rays, tissue deficit was mapped by isoheight technique using laser beam system. Compensator was constructed along the designed model using 0.8mm lead sheet or 5mm acryl plate. Dosimetric verification were peformed by film dosimetry using humanoid phantom. Dosimetric measurements were normalized to central axis full phantom readings for both compensated and non-compensated field. Without compensation, the percent differences in absorbed dose ranged as high as $12.1\%$ along transverse axis, $10.8\%$ along vertical axis. With the tissue compensators in place, the difference was reduced to $0\~43\%$ Therefore, it can be concluded that the compensator system constructed by isoheihnt technique can produce good dose distribution with acceptible inhomogeneity, and such compensator system can be effectively applied to clinical radiotherapy.

질석 분석을 통한 가족조각 기법 집단상담의 상담효과 요인 (A qualitative analysis on therapeutic factors in group counseling based on family sculpture technique)

  • The purposes of this study are first, to develop the group counseling program based on Satir’s family sculpture technique, second to investigate the therapeutic factors of Satir’s family sculpture in group counseling. To perform this study, 8 session of time limited(3 hours) group counseling were carried out. There were 12 participants in this group. The major findings were as follows: 1) the rank order fro therapeutic factors were university, group cohesiveness, instillation of hope, family reenactment, self-understanding and altruism. 2) through the family sculpture technique, group participants saw their communication patterns. They found out that use communication patterns to hide their low self-esteem. They learned the alternative communication style. 3) the participants developed the sense of self-disclosure, empathy and trust in the group. Self disclosure, empathy and trust facilitated a deeper level of therapeutic group interaction. 4) in observing their group members do their family sculpture, participants found out that every family has some problem that the family conflict is universal thing, 5) the participants had opportunity to share their feelings that were hidden deep inside Intensive emotions following self disclosure led to catharsis, 6) the participants developed a good feeling toward their group and it led to group cohesiveness. 7) through the family sculpture technique, the participants gained a better understanding on their role and position within their families 8) through the family sculpture technique, they gained a better understanding of their family. They found their family members’ psychological positions and unfinished emotional businesses and thus they could restructure their family sculptures. 9) the participants had the opportunity to feel what it is like to become parents themselves, They became to see their parents as individuals. 10) the participants acted out what they wanted to do but could not do in the past. They saw the possibility of change and development in themselves.

  • Hypoxia has been shown in many tumors because of a reduced oxygen condition. A useful approach to detect hypoxia is to use molecular imaging. Positron emission tomography (PET), one of the biomedical molecular imaging tools, is the most common non-invasive technique for providing information about physiological and biological events such as diseases. In order to use the PET technique for healthcare, promising molecular probes such as PET tracers required. [$^{18}F$]Fluoromisonidazole ([$^{18}F$]FMISO) is the most widely used in PET tracers for hypoxia. In this review, major developments of the synthetic method of [$^{18}F$]FMISO are discussed.

  • Neurophysiological therapeutic exercise had started 1940-1960 that used for CNS patient's rehabilitation is the world. In America, PNF, Bobath, Brunnstrom technique are reviewed through the NUSTEP and II STEP on 1967. The NUSTEP provide common interest of neurophysiological therapeutic exercise. The II STEP provide new concept of neurophysiological therapeutic exercise from scholar, professor and clinician. New concept include not only using the reflex but also motor learning, motor control and motor behavior. It is including neurobiologic interaction, biomechanics and motor science. Therefore, neurophysiological therapeutic exercise have to change with the purpose of the therapeutic exercise.

The effect of prepositioned upper cervical traction mobilization and therapeutic exercise on cervicogenic headache: A case study

  • The International Headache Society (IHS) has validated cervicogenic headache (CGH) as a secondary headache type that is hypothesized to originate due to nociception in the cervical area. CGH is a common form of headache and accounts for 15% to 20% of all chronic and recurrent headaches. CGH is commonly treated with manual and exercise therapy. To date, no studies have isolated only one manual intervention in an attempt to determine its effectiveness. In this case study we present a 28-year-old patient with right upper cervical (UC) and occipital pain who responded well to a single manual intervention technique. This technique was applied in isolation for the first three visits and two therapeutic exercises prescribed on the fourth and fifth visit. In total, manual and exercise intervention occurred over 8 visits at which point in time the patient was discharged with no UC motion impairments, an NPRS rating of 0, a NDI and HDI demonstrating a 100% improvement and a 37% improvement in FOTO score. The traction based manual intervention and two therapeutic exercises prescribed for this patient were successful in relieving UC pain and CGH. At six months follow up, the patient was still symptom free.

  • Objectives : In this study, the treatment method for some college students, due to the misuse of non-therapeutic molding technique non-therapeutic procedure is applied in orthodontics or jaw surgery and therapeutic purposes, such as to properly recognize and to investigate whether. Methods : In this study used, 4 questions, the questionnaire general characteristics (such as gender, major, whether the treatment experience and purpose) Orthodontic and knowledge about the jaw surgery (Corrective jaw surgery hope and reason, or jaw surgery benefits, side effects, etc.) 6 items, calibration and recognition jaw surgery on seven items 17 items was constructed. Results : Of the perception of the majors of the respondents according to the presence or absence of a non-therapeutic procedure for calibration or jaw surgery the correct way, and the purpose appeared to know roughly majors and all students majoring statistically significant (p<.001). The degree of recognition for non-therapeutic procedures according to the gender of the respondents' facial aesthetic improvement, and the most common reason, you want to make a non-therapeutic procedure, correction or contrast, I've found that looks supremacist influence on the non-therapeutic procedure or roughly know the correct way, and jaw surgery for the purpose that appeared to be statistically significant (p<.05). Development of spherical crystallization technique and its application to pharmaceutical systems

  • A novel agglomeration technique, termed "Spherical Crystallization Process", which can transform directly the fine crystals produced in the crystallization or the reaction process into a spherical shape was developed. By this technique, needle like crystals such as salicylic acid were transformed into free flowing and directly compressible agglomerates. Sphericaly agglomerated aminophyline crystals were obtained directly from the reaction system, which could reduce the preparation processes, e. g. synthesis, crystallization and agglomeration, into only one step. Sodium theophyline monohydrate agglomerates were prepared by salting out, the rate process of which was described by a first order kinetics. Agglomerated crystals of ndw complex of indo-methacin-mepirizole were prepare with this technique; an improved therapeutic effect of the resultant crystals was expected. expected.
