The purposes of this research are to examine the theoretical background and industrial policy issues with regard to building a Innovation System for encouraging industrial competitiveness and fostering regional industry in Korea. Knowledge has become the driving force of economic growth and the primary source of competitiveness in the world market. So since 1990s, Innovation Systems have been put emphasis on as new industrial development strategy in a knowledge-based economy. It can be understood that Innovation System is composed of National Innovation System(NIS) and Regional Innovation System(RIS) and interrelated the concept of clusters and networks, which are contribute to industry development throughout boosting innovation. As for the Korean industrial policy, when the former centralized policy decision making process became decentralized through the implementation of local autonomy, the role of local or state government in relation to regional industrial promotion intensified. But with the impotance of for fostering strategic industry in the region. new industrial policy issues in Korea are needed as follows; $\circled1$ Building a market-oriented support system for industrial cluster through providing the resource of innovation. $\circled2$ Establishing agency for regional industrial development. $\circled3$ Making a evolutionary vision for broader region including 2 or 3 province, $\circled4$ Fostering strategic industry which is selected in term of specialization and potential of the region. The RIS model for industry development is outlined in this paper but policy initiatives for building a RIS have to be extracted from further case studies.
Web Based Instruction has its theoretical background in constructivism paradigm of education. According to social changes called information era and thanks to the sophisticated internet mechanism the constructivism in education has been dominant paradigm. In this paradigm information and knowledge are not merely given by a instructor facing the loaners. This system of instruction has n almost every field of discipline introduced. This article aims to examine how far WBI and constructivism are applicable for design education. Richard Branchia predicted that the learner oriented instruction method would become the dominant education system. He stressed an interactivity of the teacher and students. Upon this can the applicability of WBI for design education be affirmed. This study aims to find how storytelling classes using fairy tales related to science museum exhibits have an effect on positive experience about science. For this study, the theoretical background and preceding studies on the relevance of science education and literature were collected and based on the characteristics of assimilation and the educational value of assimilation, naturally connected to the exhibits in relation to their own life, so that individuals could explore science even out-of-school. Four types of activities were developed by linking four fairy tales mentioned in elementary school textbooks to the G science museum exhibits. Seven elementary school teachers verified the validity of the activity materials. Classes through the developed activity materials were conducted four times in a row, one and a half hours at every turn for 10 students. A positive experience about science test was conducted on the students in a study to confirm that this activity has caused significant changes in science academic emotion among sub-domains of positive experience about science. In order to find the factors that affected the science academic emotion, we interviewed the students in the study and their parents. The results of this study show that the use of fairy tales related to science museum exhibits has led to a significant change in science academic emotion by reducing the burden of learning through the exhibition experience at the science museum, which creates scientific curiosity and recognizes them as a playground.
This research aims to introduce the theoretical basis of the studies of tourism resources, by review the research trends of tourism resources in the geography field. The geographical approaches to tourism resouces can be subdicided into 3 categories according to the subject. First, the classification of tourism resource types and the approach on the spatial distribution may be enumerated. This subject has been the object of the most interest and discussion to the geographers for tourism up to now. And from the viewpoint of contents, it has been developed by classifying the types of tourism resoures, which is based on the establishment of the range and standard of tourism resources and the spatial classification of types based on the distribution feature of the area. Second, the approach about cognition, preference and interpretation on the tourism resources as the background to induce tourism phenomenon and decide the tourism destination. Judging from the fact that most of this subject is starting from the behavioural study and that the right understanding and interpretation of tourism resource is the important factor to decide the preference degree of tourists, we have to have much interest about the field of tourism geoaraphy. Third, the development of tourism resources which is showing the active study recently and its influence and effect attendant upon it may be enumerated. Today, as the economic value of tourism is become important internationally, tourism resources are recognized as the important factor to induce the industrialization of tourism. And in the series of analytical studies related to it the interest has been transferred from the economic benefit analysis attendant upon tourism development including tourism resource and to the cultural, educational, environmental and psychological influence, etc. As the result of composite examination, for the geographical studies about tourism resources, the spatial scale and the contents are being subdivided and specialized. And in the side of subject and method of study, it is developing into the positive study based on the concrete data and the measuring and analytical frame.

This study was performed to develop a model for mentorship education in the science education institute for the gifted. Existing mentorship education models were focused on R&E, which involved science high school students as research participants. For this purpose, a new model was proposed with comparatively definite stages and terms, and based on the theoretical background concerning science inquiry abilities and scientific creativities or the mentorship education in the science education institute for the gifted. Existing mentorship models for science-gifted students were analyzed and compared with the scientific inquiry process and science paper form. A science paper form consisting of four stages was selected. A new model was constructed consisting of six stages, and this model was modified to be made fit for application to students in the physics mentorship course at the science education institute for the gifted in K National University. Good points and improvable points of the model through the application were identified, and the model was modified accordingly. In conclusion, a new model was proposed as a mentorship model for science-gifted students. This model was constructed using the PREPARATION-INTRODUCTION-METHOD-RESULT-CONCLUSION-FINISH format.
The purpose of the study was to pay attention to the studies of P. Cobb which have actively been quoted in the international research of mathematics education for the last three decades and to look at the result and effect of his research. In particular, we in-depth studied theories and the methods of the study which he has tried to reduce the gap in the theory and practice and investigated effects of his research to the Korean societies of mathematics education. Cobb made special effort to integrate radical constructivism and social constructivism and used emergent theory and symbolic interactionism as theoretical background of the study. Also he analyzed the mathematics classroom in individual and social perspectives based on the interpretive frames of social norm, sociomathematical norm and classroom-mathematical practices then dealt with equity and identity of the students. Because Cobb contributed significantly to the development of practical theory using design experiment as the method of studies, we presented the definition, characteristics, principles, processes and practices of the design experiment. We anticipate that his ways of research would be used as means of unifying the theory and the practice in school.
Stories have existed with the history of mankind along with drawings. Any genre of art that discusses the flow of time, such as literature, film, and play, cannot be free from narratives. The comics are not an exception. The comics tell the narratives with drawings from the cartoons in single blocks to the full-length series in tens of volumes. Nevertheless, there are not many studies that discuss the narratives in the comics. They may have been overlooked because they have been studied in the field of literature. However, I am envious of the field of film, which unravels the narratives with the same visual images, profoundly explores its own narratives and experimentally modifies and expands them into various levels. Therefore, I would like to make a narrative approach to the comics in this study. This study will discuss the non-narratives. It may sound ironic that the study of narratives will discuss the non-narratives, but the narratives cannot exist without the non-narratives. The non-narratives in the narratives compose the narratives in various ways. Therefore, Chapter II will discuss how the theory of narratives in literature classifies the narratives and the non-narratives as a theoretical background. Then, Chapter III will analyze the forms of non-narratives in Han Jo Kim's "The Texture of Memory" to discuss how the non-narratives of comics are composed, while Chapter IV will summarize the preceding studies. Finally, the narratives should be actively studied as it is an essential component of comics. I hope that this study can lay the foundation for more in-depth discussions of the narratives in the comics.
The purpose of this research is to investigate the nature of direction of the design corresponding to a human-centered design, digitalism, ecological design, and culture-oriented design which is an issue of design in the 21st century, from the design of the inside of a room. As a method of approach to this objective, first, 1 understand the form of boundary structure appearing in space, through the theoretical investigation of a boundary form. This research is trying to elicit the expression characteristic of kineticism which was introduced to the boundary form as a factor constituting space, by investigating the characteristic of kinaticism which was expressed in plastic arts and other genres. As a process of the proceeding of this investigation, It is explained the background, purpose, and method of this study in Chapter I, and look into the characteristic of the unfolding and expression of kinetic arts as well as the structure of a boundary form of space in Chapter II. In Chapter III, I divide the aspect of modern architectural space into realistic movement, relative movement, and associational movement and examine them. In Chapter IV, I investigate a case of modern space in which the three types of the characteristic of movement mentioned in Chapter Three was expressed, and analyze to what boundary structure the space was introduced. Last of all, in Chapter V, I elicit the characteristic of a boundary form of kineticism which was the result that appeared through the above analysis, and present the nature of future direction of interior.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine and improve the issues related to National Safety Inspection currently operation and reform the system for response to various disasters. Method: For the completion, this study established theoretical background using materials related to National Safety Inspection and identified the issues using the open statistical data for National Safety Inspection to suggest the improvement plans. Results: National Safety Inspection has been operating a complete large-scale inspection on risk factors in cooperation with the central government, local governments, and citizens since 2015 to remove various disaster factors neglected in people's daily lives. Operation of National Safety Inspection had positive influence in preventing major disasters. However, inefficient activity is pointed out due to issues related to cooperation with other institutes, limitation for citizen's positional role, and superficial inspection. Conclution: To solve this issue, this study proposed strengthening of communication activity with disaster institutes, strengthening of efficiency through citizen participation by type, and actualization of checklist used in National Safety Inspection.
