오감을 이용한 다각적 치료의 불안, 우울 증상 치료 효과 (The Effect of Multidimensional Five Senses Treatment on Patients with Depression or Anxiety)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to examine the effects of multidimensional five senses treatment on patients with depression or anxiety. Methods: This study examined the effects of multidimensional five senses treatment for patients with depression or anxiety who visited the neuropsychiatric clinic of Korean medicine. STAI-X1,X2, BDI, BAI, PAS were used to determine whether the mood (depression or anxiety) of patients was improved. Results: Our results showed that multidimensional five senses treatment improved the depressive symptoms or anxiety symptoms. In addition, after the multidimensional five senses treatment, PAS score in patients with panic disorder was improved. Conclusions: The multidimensional five senses treatment was effective for the improvement of patients with depression or anxiety.

식재료 오감교육활동이 유아의 식행동에 미치는 영향 - 서울 일부 지역 유아를 대상으로 - (The Effects of the Five Senses Educational Activity Using Food Materials on the Dietary Behavior of Infants - Focuse on Infants in an Area in Seoul -)

  • This study aimed to investigate the effect of the five senses activities involving food ingredients on the eating behavior of infants. The study was carried out four times over 6 months. We surveyed 65 nursery school infants and teachers who were registered at the 2020 Guro-gu Center for Children's Food Service Management in Seoul. They participated in the five senses education specialization project. The results of the study showed that the scores relating to unbalanced diet, hygiene management, dietary attitude, and dietary manners were visibly higher than those before participating in the five senses educational activities. In addition, there was a significant difference in the perception of the food ingredients used in the five senses education activities. Finally, as a result of investigating the types of education used before, during, and after the five senses education activities, and the need for education by type, cooking activities were observed to rank higher than other activities in all questions. Based on this, if dietary guidance is provided through a variety of five senses education activities over a long period rather than as a one-time event, it will be beneficial to the children's healthy eating habits.

  • Although past design developments that emphasized only the outer appearances of products were mostly concentrated on the areas of forms and colors in an attempt to satisfy humans' visual needs, it is expected that future designs to come will go in the direction to stimulate more diversified human senses. This means expansions to the five senses including the auditory sense, the sense of smell, the tactile sense and the taste and even to the area of synesthesia where two or more senses are stimulated or coexist. Although the dictionary definition of synesthesia is a concept of arousing another sense through a sense, studies of synesthesia in design go one step further from here to mean compound senses, that is, the synesthesia in an expanded meaning to feel an object (thing) through many sensory organs simultaneously. The synesthesia in the expanded meaning is applying multiple senses simultaneously in recognizing one thing to comprehensively judge and feel the thing. Recent design trends are going in a direction to basically satisfy humans' visual needs through controlled forms and colors while inducing another new feeling through expressions of diverse feels of materials within existing forms. In this change of the times, studies on furniture designs are conducted through factors of in synesthesia linked with other senses and have an important meaning that can enhance the value of designs.

  • This paper contains that the current emergency response procedure through the railroad accident type at domestic and foreign, and the response program which is more systematic as a result of improving weaknesses. Because the response program at home is less sufficient than developed country's, we have made an investigation into system of classification in America, British, Germany, Japan for organizing separate emergency response code. we have researched the recognition response of five senses for minimizing the accident damage in a way of spreading the emergency response type analyzed through the accident procedure according to the feature of five senses by the first recognizer. Based on the first recognitions response of five senses, the scenario has been established according to each types and the criteria of accident has been researched through classifying the recognition of five senses response level, early response level, self-response level, outside support level.

Effect of Five Senses Activities in the Forest on Young Children's Daily Stress

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the effects of five senses activities in forests on the reduction or mitigation of daily stress using various forest healing factors such as water, sunlight, topography, phytoncide, landscape, sound, fragrance, etc. The subjects of this study were 40 young children aged 5 in an early childhood education institution located in Cheongju. The children were divided into two groups: 20 in the experimental group and 20 in the control group. The experimental group participated in the program of five senses activities in the forest in total of 12 sessions (1-2 sessions a week), with each session lasting 60 minutes from May 8 to June 16, 2017. The control group, who did not participate in the five senses activities in the forest, participated in the Nuri Curriculum operated by the educational institution. Before and after the program, tests to measure daily stress in three different situations (encountering blame-aggression situation, experiencing anxiety-frustration, and losing self-respect) were conducted on young children and the data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0. As a result, daily stress of the young children decreased in all three situations with statistical significance. Through the five senses activities in the forest, young children could feel the nature by observing and exploring it in the forest, so which reduced their daily stress compared to the activities carried out in the classroom.

숲에서의 오감체험활동이 유아의 자아효능감 및 생명존중인식에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Five Senses Experience in the Forest on Young Children's Self-efficacy and Respectful Recognition of Life)

  • 우리나라 유아교육현장에서 자연친화 교육에 대한 관심이 높아지고 자연체험 프로그램에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 숲이 가지고 있는 산림치유인자들과 요인들을 활용하는 숲에서의 오감체험활동이 유아의 자아효능감과 생명존중인식에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 실험대상은 청주시 OO동에 위치한 유아교육기관의 숲특별반을 주2회 참여하는 실험군과 통제군은 숲활동을 하지 않고 유아교육기관에서 운영하는 프로그램에 참여하는 만 5세 유아 남녀 각각 20명으로 하였으며 남자아이는 11명, 여자아이는 9명씩이었다. 실험기간은 2016년 8월08일부터 2016년 9월20일까지 매주 2회씩 12회기로 1시간 (60분)씩 실시하였다. 오감체험활동은 숲에서 유아들이 오감을 깨우고, 오감을 통해 계절의 변화를 알고, 자신의 자아를 확립하고 자연과 친해지는 활동이다. 프로그램 실시 전후에 유아를 대상으로 한 자아효능감 검사와 생명존중인식검사를 실시하고 그 자료는 SPSS 18.0 로 분석하였다. 그 결과 긍정적인 생각과 자신감을 나타내는 자아효능감, 자연과 함께 더불어 살아가며 생명을 존중하는 생명존중인식이 통계적으로 유의미하게 향상되었다(p<0.05). 오감체험활동을 통해 유아들은 온몸으로 자유롭게 자연을 마음껏 느낄 수 있었고, 교실에서 이루어지는 활동에 비해 자아효능감이나 생명존중인식에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다.

오감과 영감을 활용한 감성북 편집디자인 연구 (Making an Emotional Design Book with 5 Senses and Inspiration -Focused on the Art Book 5+1(Five Plus One)-)

  • 5+1(Five Plus One)은 오감 즉 시각, 청각, 후각, 미각, 촉각과 영감을 주제로 한 시각적 표현의 결과물이다. 오감에 관한 자료를 찾아보았으나 과학적 근거와 다국적 언어들의 인용으로 된 자료들만 무성하였으며 시각적 유희와 감성의 표현으로 이루어진 예술적 표현과는 거리가 먼 서적들이 대부분이었다. 대부분 어린이 지능발달을 위한 교재가 대부분이었으며 학술적 논문과 의학서적들이 주를 이루고 있다. 이에 한글과영문을 혼용하여 가독성의 문제가 있어 이해되지 않은 상황에서도 오감과 영감에 관한 커뮤니케이션이 가능한 감성북을 제작하였다. 연구 결과물은 오감과 영감을 시각화 시키는 작업에 중점을 두었다. 그리고 의미와 각 감각의 이해도를 높이기 위한 기초과학 상식에 입각한 정보디자인의 제작, 각 감각의 시각적 증빙을 위한 실험 등을 구사하였다. 그리고 각 감각을 구체화시키기 위해 사물과 의미 표현을 위한 촬영, 메타포의 활용, 일러스트레이션 타이포그라피에 특히 역점을 두었다. 이러한 실험과 표현 방법을 통하여 제작과정과 그리고 이러한 작업의 결과가 하나의 책으로 완성되어가는 결과물을 연구물로 제시하였다.

  • We suggested and began to develop an entirely new safety program "The Safety Training Program for 'KIKIIKI' (Vivid) Five Senses". The purpose of this program is to enhance worker's consciousness for safety, especially in working places. The work 'IKIIKI' of the program title is Japanese worlds. It means 'vivid' in English.

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate visual arts in interactive technology in art museum applications and to analyze the impact relationship between interactive technology and the five senses. This study was conducted to survey respondents who had used art museum applications. The results are as follows. First, this study evaluates the differences in perception of art museum applications according to the general characteristics of the respondents. They show that there are differences in gender, marital status, age, and social income. Second, this study identifies the impact of five senses and synesthesia on interaction design among emotional design elements. They reveal that visual, auditory, tactile components, and synesthesia have significant effects on interactive design. This study reveals that emotional design elements of art museum applications affect interaction design. Also, it suggests that research on interaction design reflecting five senses is continuously needed to improve audience satisfaction and revitalize art museum applications.
