컴퓨터 시뮬레이션기법을 이용한 고속전철 승객안전도 해석 및 평가 (A Study of KHST Passenger Safety During Accidents by Computer Simulation Techniques)

  • The computer simulation techniques were adopted to evaluate effects of seating positions of passenger under the various accident scenarios. The baseline of computer simulation model was tunned by the sled impact tests which conducted under the upright and standard seating positions. This study shows the effect of relative velocity between occupant and struck vehicle while occupant is impacted to a front seat's seatback. Although, base on the current accident scenarios, KHST is performed well enough to protect average adult male occupants. However, Results from the tests indicate small size occupant or higher impact speed may cause sever neck and femur injuries.

  • LNG 시설은 타 시설에 비해 사용 안전성 측면에서 고려하여야 할 사항이 많다. LNG의 특성상 $-160^{\circ}C$의 초저온 상태에서 생산, 저장되며, 가연성 가스이므로 누설 시에 인근의 점화원에 의해 폭발할 수 있다. 그리고 LNG 생산 및 저장시설은 대량의 연료를 취급하므로 사고의 위험성과 영향력이 크다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 대량의 액화연료를 취급하는 LNG 기지는 엄격한 안전기준과 설계기준을 요구하고 있다. 제정된 기준은 많은 지식과 경험을 근간으로 발전되며, 사고빈도수가 많지 않은 LNG 시설과 관련해서, 건설 또는 운영 시에 발생한 사고사례는 중요한 정보를 제공하고 있다. 많은 인명을 앗아간 사례와 원인에 대한 평가는 소중한 자료임에 분명하다. 이에 본 조사에서는 외국의 LNG 생산기지의 사고사례를 조사하여 경향을 분석해 보았다.

  • The construction industry is a representative high levels of hazardous work environment, and the number of disasters in the construction industry is the highest compared to other industries. Information & Communication Technology(ICT) convergence technologies are being introduced worldwide, and this study considers ICT-based safety management cases at domestic and foreign, resulting in a list of technologies to recognize and resolve to construction site hazards. Technologies such as 「Development of hazard map considering cause, age, proficiency, type and timing of accident in construction industry」, 「Development of hazard map-based accident prediction platform using AI」, 「Development of smart safety management plan for whole construction work cycle」, 「Development of intelligent safety devices and smart safety equipment for mitigating hazard factors」 were derived as smart construction technologies that could solve this problem.

  • 로프엑세스에 의한 고소작업은 해양플랜트를 포함한 많은 산업현장에서 사용되고 있고 작업 위험성 때문에 작업자에게 IRATA 자격증을 요구하는 것이 세계적인 추세이다. 또한 우리나라 산업재해의 사망사고 원인 1위가 추락사고임에도 불구하고 고소작업자에 대한 교육훈련은 거의 전무한 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 IRATA의 자격증 종류, 교육방법 및 회원자격 등에 대하여 소개하고 이를 우리나라에 도입하는 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • In these days, as the scale of our technology becomes larger and more highly advanced, the magnitude of an accident tends to be large. For this reason, in some systems whose accident may cause a large-scale and long-term catastrophe, a preliminary and quantitative safety assessment has become required before its construction. A method developed for this requirement is risk assessment. In this study, we focused on the methodology of probabilistic risk assessment, which has been developed mainly in the field of nuclear power industry, and considered the process to adopt this method to railway system in order to establish a scientific and comprehensive way of safety assessment.

심장손상에 대한 임상분석: 13례 분석보 (Clinical analysis of heart trauma: a review of 13 cases)

  • From 1978 to April 30 84 thirteen cases of cardiac injured patients were operated under general anesthesia at Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery in Chonnam National University. These patients were divided Into two groups according to their cause of trauma: Group 1, penetrating cardiac injury and Group II, blunt cardiac injury. 1.In 7 cases of Group 1, 6 cases were stab wound and one case was gunshot wound, and among 6 cases of Group II, 3 cases traffic accident, 2 cases pedestrian, 1 case agrimotor accident. 2.The sites of cardiac injury in penetrating trauma were right ventricle mainly and the next left ventricle and in blunt trauma right ventricle, myocardial contusion, right atrium, and inferior vena cava in order. 3.In most of cases central venous pressure was elevated above 15 cmH2O and in 5 of 13 cases revealed cardiomegaly in simple chest X-ray. 4.The relationship between the condition on arrival and the time to operation is not significant. 5.Associated injuries in penetrating cardiac trauma were hemothorax, pneumothorax, laceration of lung and in blunt trauma hemothorax, sternal fracture, rib fracture and pneumothorax in order. 6.One case of gunshot injury died after operation.

  • Chemical accidents generated during maintenance, repair, and normal operation, such as dispersion, fire, and explosions, can cause massive losses like a 2012 hydro fluorine leak in Gumi, South Korea. Since this accident, many researches have studied physical mitigation systems. However, due to many difficulties including potential costs and lack time, it is really hard for many companies to install mitigation systems without prior knowledge. Thus, the efficacy of mitigation system should be evaluated. This study assesses a dike design considering the fluid velocity at an open hole when a leakage accident occurs. It is assumed that leakage materials follow a free fall motion. Throughout case studies, a current KOSHA guide for a dike design was evaluated and new guidelines handling various conditions were proposed.

  • Railway System has been developed by applying the advanced technology so that it reduces accident of hardware failure. But human error has been founded as important cause in railway accidents and safety. Medical condition is one of railway accident causes. Failure to recognize potentially incapacitating medical conditions can have serious safety consequences for railroad employees, the railroads and the public[1]. In order to find potential danger, we collect domestic/ foreign case for the medical examination and analyse characteristic/difference. The purpose of this study is to suggest information of employees' medical examination through comparing the current medical standard in railway industries.

  • Recently the harmonic generation has declined electricity quality and has bad influence on the electrical installation including OA(Office Automation), FA(Factory Automation), IT(Information Telecommuni-cation) devices and so on. The study of harmonics be greatly interested in diagnosis accident with harmonics was not merely guesswork but clarify the cause by experimental data at these days. Therefore, it is necessary development of AC power source for correct experiment with reliable data. In this paper, we realized the AC power source that can produce and compose harmonics for analysis of accident with harmonics.

  • The bus using compressed natural gas(CNG) trend to be extended in use internationally as optimal counter-plan for reducing discharge gas of light oil due to high concern about environment. But, Composit pressure vessels(CPV) to be equipped with CNG bus is always involved in the point that safety accidents happen due to having compressed natural gas. In this report, we analysis the cause of CPV bursting accident by reviewing design and manufacture factor and suggest preventive measure through this case.
