모바일 RFID 기술은 RFID 통신, 이동통신 및 네트워크 인프라, 그리고 정보 처리 기술이 결합된 대표적인 융합 기술이다. 모바일 RFID 기술은 사용자의 주변 사물에 대한 정보 소통을 가능케 함으로써, 언제, 어디서나, 원하는 정보 서비스를 제공받을 수 있는 유비쿼터스 정보 사회의 기반 기술이라 할 수 있다. 우리나라는 모바일 RFID 기술에 대한 조기 개발 및 표준화 노력을 경주하여, 기술 주도권 확보와 함께 국제 표준화를 선도하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 모바일 RFID 기술의 국내외 표준화 활동 및 현황을 정리하고, 주요 표준화 이슈를 살펴보고자 한다. 또한 제반 영향 요인에 대한 분석을 통해 모바일 RFID 표준화 전략을 제시하고자 한다.

I think that there are few domestic enterprises that recognize standardization of logistics equipments is necessary, which causes a lot of waste in costs and also reduces their business competitiveness. The purpose of this paper is to make the companies be aware of this situation, to exactly analyze where the Korean logistics equipments status are, and further to provide practical directions of methods and activities for effective standardization. Through analysis in the study, there were some findings, as listed below. First, the standardization level of each company varies depending on its own corporate characteristics. Second, if a company adopted standardization process in logistics equipments, it would accelerate process of work efficiency or productivity. Third, when logistics equipment are standardized, it would boost efficiency in storage utilization. Fourth, the delivery services through this standardized logistics would be implemented at a higher speed than before due to the accelerated flow of materials. According to the above findings, it is confirmed that logistics standardization would greatly affect on business performance positively. For the domestic manufactures to facilitate logistics system more easily, as an easiest way, it is required to build logistics standardization teams and surveys. Then afterwards, to achieve it earlier than expected, the company-wide education and training for workers have to be followed to let them be aware of necessity and inevitability about standardized logistics.

The aim of this study is to discuss the significance of standards in general as well as that of records management in particular. It also analyzes the current state of standardization efforts that will directly and indirectly affect records management practices. It begins with introducing definitions of standards and the rationale behind the expensive and cumbersome process of standardization. Also covered are major standard-setting organizations at different levels such as international and national level and various types of standards created or endorsed by these organizations. Throughout the study, main focus is given to standards and standardization endeavors in records management. Until recently, standardization activities have been mainly concentrated on manufacturing industry. Consequently, standards regarding records management are not sufficient enough to satisfy organizational and professional needs. Even ISO/TC 46/ SC 11, which is in charge of standardization in records management at the international level, has just published one standard, ISO 15489 : 2001 and newly proposed five standards in 2002. Awareness of the current state calls for active participation of records managers to the standard-related activities as discussed in this study. It is also asked to keep up with the global movement by establishing standards tailored to Korean situations as well as by actively participating In international standardization activities In order to take an initiative at the international level.

PURPOSES: In this paper, the effectiveness of speed-maintained standardization in road geometry on environmental impact at a downward slope location, based on greenhouse gas (GHG) emission indicators, was studied. Specifically, the aim of this study was to ascertain whether speed-maintained standardization resulted in decreased $CO_2$ emissions as well as noise pollution, due to reduced vehicle speeds. METHODS : In this study, speed-maintained standardization in road geometry was proposed as a means to reduce vehicle speeds, with a view to reducing $CO_2$ emissions and noise pollution. This technique was applied at a downward slope location. The vehicle speeds, $CO_2$ emissions, and noise levels before and after application of speed-maintained standardization were compared. RESULTS: It was found that speed-maintained standardization was effective as a means to reduce speed, as well as $CO_2$ emissions and noise pollution. By applying speed-maintained standardization, it was confirmed that vehicle speeds were reduced consistently. As a result, $CO_2$ emissions and noise levels were decreased by 9% and 11%, respectively. CONCLUSIONS : This study confirmed that speed-maintained standardization in road geometry is effective in reducing vehicle speeds, $CO_2$ emissions, and noise levels. Moreover, there is further scope for the application of this method in the design of roads in urban and rural areas, as well as in the design of highways.

The production, distribution, and consumption of Korean medicinal herbs have increased every year because of an increase of health considerations. But there are no sufficient standardization procedures in packaging and distribution systems related to these herb products. The standardization of packaging material and dimension could be a good addition for establishing proper quality control methods for Korean medicinal herbs. Medicinal herbs deteriorate under physical, chemical and biological hazards such as oxidation, textural change under high moisture content, color change by light, sanitation problems by insect invasion and contamination. Packaging standardization with proper functional packaging materials is critical to ensure the qualities of medicinal herbs. Also, storage and distribution efficiencies can be improved by achieving packaging dimension standardization. This review summarizes recent research trends related to quality evaluation methods and major quality deterioration factors of Korean medicinal herbs. This paper also offers reviews on some of problems and challenges in current packaging and distribution systems of medicinal herb industries and briefly suggests advanced quality control methods through packaging standardization.

This paper highlights the economic effects of nuclear power plants standardization in Korea. The major effects of nuclear power plants standardization appear in the reduction of time-related costs. By using this major economic effects of standardization, an optimal plant mix of electric power until the year 2005 is suggested by means of WASP computer model. And the effects between the standardized case and the non-standardized case is compared.

The purpose of this study is to establish the technical system of national logistics standardization and to strengthen the national competitiveness through reduction of the logistic cost We review of the government and private roles in the logistic sectors and suggest plans for the improvement of logistics standardization for its completion in the unit load system in Korea. We conclude that a symmetrical logistics standardization may accomplish to reduce the costs of national logistics.

As the subway composed of rolling stock, power supply, signalling, infrastructure is complex system, the optimization through standardization is one of the most effective way to reduce the cost of construction and operation. However, the subway in Korea has been built and operated in different kinds of system. In this paper, review for standardization of urban transit in Korea is executed and presented direction to standardization.

The IPTV Standardization work being done by the ITU-T in collaboration with other SDOs and telecommunication companies. Currently IPTV services are provided with no global standards and interoperability. ITU-T leads the process of IPTV standardization. We used the ITU-Ts working documents which were publically available to investigate the direction of IPTV standardization process. Many things including architecture, services, service requirements, codec and error correction mechanisms etc already defined through recommendations. But still there is effort going on to standardize the complete IPTV system.

ISO, IEC, ISO/IEC JTC 1 and ITU-T have been preparing for smart city standardization since 2013, and as a result of related activities, four international standardization groups, namely, ITU-T SG20, IEC Systems Committee on Smart Cities, ISO TC268, and ISO/IEC JTC 1/WG 11, have been established, and the development of related international standards is progressing. In this paper, the status of the standardization activities of ITU-T SG20, the IEC Systems Committee on Smart Cities, ISO TC268, and ISO/IEC JTC 1/WG 11 are reviewed.
