Objective: The purpose of this study is to report a metastatic adrenocortical carcinoma patient treated with wheel balanced cancer therapy (WBCT) regimen. Methods: A 52-year-old female patient diagnosed and incised with metastatic adrenocortical carcinoma visited the East West Cancer Center (EWCC) on Sep. 1st, 2018 for WBCT. The patient was treated with WBCT for an approximately 2 months, from Sep. 1st to Nov. 9th. Computed tomography (CT) was used to follow-up the tumor site. Laboratory analysis and National Cancer Institute Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events (NCI-CTCAE), version 5.0 were used to evaluate the safety of WBCT. Results: The surgical beds after surgery (Lt. Laparoscopic adrenalectomy) were maintained without recurrence at follow up chest CT, and related symptoms and quality of life (QOL) were improved during the WBCT. Conclusion: This case study suggests that WBCT may help to improve QOL of adrenocortical carcinoma patient.

This paper briefly examines the Book of Changes that is the philosophical background of East Asian ancient mathematics and its collection of complementary(ShíYì), and then examines the structure and contents of GyeSaJeon, which explains the basic principles of Book of Changes as one of ShíYì. GyesaJeon reveals the unique East Asian thought of dealing with numbers in the process of explaining the formation of Eight-Gwae(Bagua) and Sixty-four-Gwae based on Yin-Yang theory. It understands numbers in terms of symbols, not quantitative, and use them to represent characteristics or hierarchy of certain classes, and to explain certain principles. Based on this, the implications of using East Asian mathematics history in the mathematics classroom are discussed.

Although there is progress in developing green sectors in North America and East Asia, the key challenge facing the expansion of economy-wide green innovation and structural change in these regions is the absence of relevant policy follow-up to the green stimulus enacted during the Great Recession. The boost to green sectors provided by such measures is waning quickly, given that much of the green stimulus focused on energy efficiency. The biggest obstacles to sustaining green growth in North America and East Asiaare major market disincentives, especially the under-pricing of fossil fuels and market failures that inhibit green innovation. A three-part strategy to overcome these obstacles would involve: first, removing fossil fuel subsidies; second, employing market-based instruments to further reduce the social costs of fossil fuel use; and third, allocating any resulting revenue to public support for green innovation and investments. Such a strategy would ensure that green growth is not about promoting niche green sectors but instigating economy-wide innovation and structural transformation in North America and East Asia.

본 연구에서는 지난 수십 년간 가장 파괴적인 지진해일로 기록된 1983년 동해에서 발생한 지진해일이 동해를 거쳐 우리나라 동해안으로 전파해오는 과정을 수치해석하였다. 천수방정식에 근거한 수치모형을 이용하였으며, 물리적 분산은 leap-frog 유한차분기법에 의해 발생하는 수치분산으로 어느 정도 대체하도록 하였다. 진원으로부터 지진해일 전파도와 파향선법에 의한 전파제적을 산정하였다.

A new free-living marine nematode, Chaetonema longicorpus sp. nov., was discovered in a subtidal benthic habitat around the Uljin nuclear power plant in the East Sea. Chaetonema longicorpus sp. nov. differs from other Chaetonema species in its very long body length, relatively long cephalic setae, long and narrow buccal cavity, bottle-shaped amphideal fovea, short spicules, only one pre-cloacal seta instead of a pre-cloacal supplement, and conspicuous ventral swelling at the middle of the tail. Herein, we provide a taxonomic description and illustrations of this new species using differential interference contrast microscopy. Furthermore, an illustrated pictorial key to all valid species, including the new species and comparative tables on the biogeographical and morphological characteristics of the genus Chaetonema, are provided.

Four 3,4-seco-lupane trierpenoids were isolated from the MeOH extract of the leaves of Acanthopanax divaricatus forma flavi-flos Yook by using various column chromatography. The chemical structures of isolates were identified as chiisanogenin, chiisanoside, isochiisanoside and 11-deoxyisochiisanoside on the basis of physico-chemical and spectroscopic date($^1H-NMR,\;^{13}C-NMR$M$, 2D-NMR and FAB-MS). These compounds were isolated for the first time from A. divaricatus forma flavi-flos.

Seasonal changes of abundance of the main phytoplankton groups of species (diatoms, dinoflagellates, chrysophytes, small flagellates and cryptophytes) and a set of environmental parameters were investigated in coastal and pre-estuarine waters of Peter the Great Bay (East/Japan Sea) in May-October of 1998 and 1999. Three periods of mass development were revealed: spring, summer and autumn blooms, with successive change of species. The conditions favourable for each group of species were determined. Driving mechanisms of the succession include nutrients transport through seasonal pycnocline by turbulent mixing, terrestrial nutrients supply by monsoon floods, nutrients supply by upwellings, and light control by the thickness of upper mixed layer. Summer succession could be explained by a simple SST-MLD diagram similar to Pingree S-kh diagram with sea surface temperature as indicator of stratification (S) and mixed layer depth as indicator of light availability (kh).

Purpose: To examine an estimate factor and grasp the relation of difference for Type A Behavior Pattern(TABP), Perceived Stress Questionnaire, Depression and HIT-6 in the Chronic headache client. Method: Data collected by self-reported questionnaires from 38 client in S city who were selected by criteria of IHS, from the $19^{th}$ of October to 10th of December, 2004. Result: 1) Differences between biographical data by TABP was significant by SaSang constitutions, by Stress was significantly influenced by age, and by Depression were significantly influenced health status and SaSang constitutions. 2) Correlations Coefficients among Study Variables were Stress and Depression(r=.494, p=.002) and Depression and HIT-6(r=.432, p=.010). 3) In regression analysis, HIT-6 were significantly influenced by Depression and Type A Behavior Pattern(TABP).These variables explained 38% and 34% respectively. Conclusion: The result suggest that chronic headache management with psychological aspect, as well as physical aspect should be a focus to enhance the quality of life.

Power MOSFET and Power IGBT is develop in power savings, high efficiency, small size, high reliability, fast switching, low noise. Power MOSFET can be used high-speed switching transistors devices. Power MOSFET is devices the voltage-driven approach switching devices are design to handle on large power, power supplies, converters. In this paper, design the 80V MOSFET Planar Gate type, and design the Trench Gate type for realization of low on-resistance. For both structures, by comparing and analyzing the results of the simulation and characterization.
