This research has a main focus on providing fundamental data for on-the-spot industrial fields by comparing and contrasting physical properties of fluffy spun-like material. The fluffy spun-like yarn is developed as fluffy yarn similar to natural spun-like yarn by treating polyester(FDY and + type shaped DTY) with ATY machine. In this experiment, using ATY machine for raw material texturing, we produced two fluffy yarns: (i) + type shaped(50d/36f, DTY) as core yarn and 100d/192f FDY as effect yarn[ATY(D)], (ii) FDY(75/36) as core yarn and 100d/192f FDY [ATY(F)] as effect yarn. After producing thous yarns, we twisted them with 500T/M, 700T/M, 1000T/M, respectively. produced yarns through this process were used as the samples for this experiment. Even though the shrinkage of fluffy yarn ATY(F) and ATY(D) becomes high as treated temperature rises and treated time lengthens, it is more affected by treated temperature then by treated time. In this experiment, produced fluffy yarn[ATY(D)] shows a little high values for temperature, but almost same values for higher temperatures. When we compare ATY(F) with ATY(D) fluffy yarn shows more natural fluffy yarn surface structure like natural cotton. The shrinkage of 700T/M twisted ATY(D) fluffy yarn show about 11% under treated temperature $180^{\circ}C$ and treated time 30min, and about 7% under $120^{\circ}C$ and 30min, respectively. But the shrinkage of 1000T/M fluffy yarn shoes about 9% and 6% under same conditions. Regarding treated time, tenacity and initial modulus of ATY(D) fluffy yarn rise high until 30min, but do not show much increase above 30min. Regarding treated temperature, tenacity and initial modulus of it rise high aboyer $140^{\circ}C$.
In this study, the Ag nano-dots structure and silicon nitride film were applied to the textured wafer surface to improve the light trapping effect of mono-crystalline silicon solar cell. Ag nano-dots structure was formed by performing a heat treatment for 30 minutes at 650℃ after the deposition of 10nm Ag thin film. Ag thin film deposition was performed using a thermal evaporator. The silicon nitride film was deposited by a Hot-wire chemical vapor deposition. The effect of light trapping was compared and analyzed through light reflectance measurements. Experimental results showed that the reflectivity increased by 0.5 ~ 1% under all nitride thickness conditions when Ag nano-dots structure was formed before nitride film deposition. In addition, when the Ag nano-dots structure is formed after deposition of the silicon nitride film, the reflectance is increased in the nitride film condition of 70 nm or more. When the HF treatment was performed for 60 seconds to improve the Ag nano-dot structure, the overall reflectance was improved, and the reflectance was 0.15% lower than that of the silicon nitride film-only sample at 90 nm silicon nitride film condition.

Solar cell is a device that converts photon energy into electrical energy. Therefore, absorption of solar spectrum light is one of the most important characteristics to design the solar cell structures. Various methods have emerged to reduce optical losses, such as textured surfaces, back contact solar cells, anti-reflection layers. Here, the anti-reflection coating (ARC) layer is typically utilized whose refractive index value is between air (~1) and silicon (~4) such as SiNx layer (~1.9). This research is to print a material called polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) to form a double anti-reflection layer. Light with wavelength in the range of 0.3 to 1.2 micrometers does not share a wavelength with solar cells. It is confirmed that the refractive index of PDMS (~1.4) is an ARC layer which decreases the reflectance of light absorption region on typical p-type solar cells with SiNx layer surface. Optimized PDMS printing with analyzing optical property for cell structure can be the effective way against outer effects by encapsulation.
High temperature superconducting coated conductor has various buffer structures on Ni-W alloy. We comparatively studied the growth conditions of a multi buffer layer $(CeO_2/YSZ/CeO_2)$ and a single buffer layer$(CeO_2)$ on textured Ni-W alloy tapes. XRD data showed that the qualities of in-plane and out-of-plane textures of the two type buffer structures were good. Also, we investigated the properties of SmBCO superconducting layer that was deposited on the two type buffer structure. The SmBCO superconducting properties on the single and multi buffer structure showed different critical current values and surface morphologies. FWHM of In-plane and out-of-plane textures were $7.4^{\circ},\;5.0^{\circ}$ in the top CeO2 layer of the multi-buffer layers of $CeO_2/YSZ/CeO_2$, and $7.3^{\circ},\;5.1^{\circ}$ in the $CeO_2$ single buffer layer. $1{\mu}m-thick$ SmBCO superconducting layers were deposited on two type buffer layer. $I_c$ of SmBCO deposited on single and multi buffer were 90 A/cm, 150 A/cm and corresponding $J_c$ were $0.9MA/cm^2,\;1.5MA/cm^2$ at 77K in self-field, respectively.
This study was carried out material characteristics and firing conditions for some potteries in early and middle Neolithic period at the Munamri sites, where the first farmland remails were found in Korea. It is divided into six kinds of surface patterns for potteries such as the raised, bamboo tube and red painted (patternless) from the early Neolithic period (BC 4000 to 6000), and the patterns of horizontal herringbone, short slanted lined or lattice and incised thick line in the middle Neolithic period (BC 3000 to 4000), respectively. Based on the color measures, redness and yellowness of potteries were relatively high as condition of oxidation firings, were also observed black cores on the cross section of potteries. The firing temperature is divided into two groups having under 800℃ and 800to 900℃, the difference in patterns of the potteries are not confirmed. As a microtextures, the bamboo tube pattern potteries show the sericitization biotite, the quartz have developed a suture line textures, and altered alkali feldspars are occurred. X-ray diffraction analysis shows that the main minerals contained in potteries are chlorite and amphibole besides quartz, alkali feldspar and biotite. Considering the geology around the Munamri area is the biotite amphibole granite and soil layers within 10km radius are used as the raw materials for the potteries. The raw materials are presumed that the sources from the metamorphic rocks along the water systems through the mountains around the sites on the basis of well developed suture line textured quartz in potteries. Results on normalized geochemical compositions, the potteries by surface patterns are very similar to sources, and it is judged that was made by using the surrounding soils despite the long time difference from the early to middle in the Neolithic period.

YBCO coated conductor is one of the most promising materials as a new generations wire especially for practical power applications. In this work, $YBa_2$$Cu_3$$O_{7}$ -$\delta$/(YBCO) coated conductors (CC) were deposited by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) from buffer layers to superconducting layer on hi-axially textured metal tape. The oxide multilayer buffered substrate of architectures of $CeO_2$/$YSZ/Y_2$$O_3$ was fabricated by PLD at steady status. Then YBCO layer was deposited on RABiTS substrate by stationary and reel-to-reel (R2R) continuous process and we compared with deposition conditions of both processes. The degree of texture of each layer was investigated using X-ray diffraction including $\theta$-2$\theta$ scans, $\omega$-scans and $\Phi$-scans analysis. Their surface morphology was observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The FWHM of the X-ray $\Phi$-scans and $\Phi$-scans indicated that YBCO and buffer layers closely replicate the in-plane and out-of-plane texture of metal tape. Critical current (Ic) at 77 K, self-field of 75.8 A/cm-width, critical temperature (Tc) of 85 K, and critical current density (Ic) of 3.7 MA/$\textrm{cm}^2$ were measured from coated conductor deposited by stationary process. And coated conductor deposited by R2R continuous process had Ic of 57.5 A/cm-width, Tc of 86.5 K and Jc of 2.0 MA/$\textrm{cm}^2$. The film also exhibits a homogeneous and dense surface morphology.

Due to the climate changes in Korea, the numbers of both torrential rain events and drought periods have increased in frequency. Water management practice against water shortage and flooding is one of the key interesting for field crop cultivation, and groundwater often serves as an important and safe source of water to crops. Therefore, the objective of this study is to evaluate the effect of groundwater table levels on soil water content and soybean development under two different textured soils. The experiment was conducted using lysimeter located in Miryang, Korea. Two types of soils (sandy-loam and silty-loam) were used with three groundwater table levels (0.2, 0.4, 0.6m). Mean soil water content during the soybean growth period was significantly influenced by groundwater table levels. With the continuous groundwater level at 0.2m from the soil surface, soil water content was not statistically changed between vegetative and reproductive stage, but the 0.4 and 0.6m groundwater table level was significantly decreased. Lower chlorophyll content in soybean leaves was found in shallow water table treatment in earlier part of the growing season, but the chlorophyll contents were non-significant among water table treatments. Groundwater table level treatments were significantly influenced on plant available nitrogen content in surface soil. The highest N contents were observed in 0.6m groundwater table level. It is probably due to the nitrogen loss by denitrification as the result of high soil water content. The length and dry weight of primary root was influenced by groundwater level and thus the highest length and dry weight of root were observed in 0.6m water table level. This result showed that soybean root growth did not extend below the groundwater level and increased with the depth of groundwater table level. The results of this study show that the management of groundwater level can influence on soil characteristics, especially on soil water content, and it is an important practice of to reduce yield loss caused by the water stress during the crop growing season.

The stone lantern of the four guardian kings in the Beopjusa temple at Boeun was mainly made of biotite granodiorite consisting of porphyritic-textured potassium feldspar and included in ilmenite series. A base stone made of alkali granite was buried, after founded its place during an earlier restoration process. Cracking and break out are noticeable on this object. In addition, discoloration, salt crusting, and epiphytes were observed. The lantern was vulnerable in terms of physical and structural stability caused by cracking in the front and back of the light chamber and in the non-horizontal direction. According to the conservational condition of the stone lantern, structural reinforcement was carried out based on calculations, including those on the position, size, and anchor length of the titanium stiffener. Chemical and biological pollutants were washed off without damage to the surface of the stone material. Oxygenated iron pieces were replaced with titanium. Ethyl silicate was applied to the surface of the lantern for consolidation and smooth drainage.

Maintenance of adequate soil water content during the period of crop growth is necessary to support optimum plant growth and yields. A better understanding of soil water movement for precision irrigation would allow efficient supply of water to crops, thereby resulting in minimization of water drainage and contamination of ground water. This research reports on the characterization of spatial and temporal variations in water contents through three different textured soils, such as loam, sandy loam, and loamy sand, when water is applied on the soil surface using an one-line drip irrigation system and the soils are dried after the irrigation stops, respectively. Water contents through each soil profile were continuously monitored using three Sentek probes, each consisting of three capacitance sensors at 10, 20, and 30cm depths. Spatial variability in water content for each soil type was strongly influenced by soil textural class. There were big differences in wetting pattern and the rate of downward movement between loam and sandy loam soils, showing that the loam soil had a wider wetting pattern and a slower rate of downward movement than did the sandy loam soil. The wetting pattern in loamy sand soil was not apparent due to a low variability in water content (< 10%) by a lower-water holding capacity as compared to those measured in the loam and sandy loam soils, implying that the rate of water drainage below a depth of 30cm was high. When soils were dried, there were highly exponential relationships between water content and time elapsed after irrigation stops ($r^2$${\geq}$0.98). It was estimated that equilibrium moisture contents for loam, sandy loam, and loamy sand soils would be 17.6%, 6.2%, and 4.2%, respectively.
Currently, solar module is using the two methods such as a glass-filled method or a super-straight method. The common point of these methods is to use glass structure on the front of solar module. However, the reflectance of the solar module is high depending on the height of the incident sunlight due to the flat surface of the module front glass. Purposed to solve these problems, AG (anti-glare) structures were formed on the glass surface. Next is fabrication methods of AG structure. First, uneven structure made by micro blaster equipment was dipped in Hydro-fluidic acid (HF) acid. HF acid process was carried out to remove particles and to make high transmittance. The reflectance and transmittance of the anti-glare glass was compared to those of the bare glass. The reflectance of anti-glare glass decreased approximately 1% compared with bare glass. The transmittance of anti-glare glass was similar to bare glass. According to the sample angle, the difference of the reflectance between bare glass and the anti-glare glass was about 19%. Isc and efficiency value of anti-glare glass on bare solar cell appeared about 3.01 mA and 0.228% difference compared with bare glass. Anti-glare glass on textured solar cell appeared about 9.46 mA and 0.741% difference compared with bare glass. As a result, the role of anti-glare in the substrate is to reduces the loss of sunlight reflected from the surface. In this study, therefore, AG structure on the solar cell was used to improve the efficiency of solar cell.
