This paper considers an integrated inventory-distribution system with a fleet of heterogeneous vehicles employed where a single warehouse distributes a single type of products to many spatially distributed retailers to satisfy their dynamic demands. The problem is to determine order planning at the warehouse, and also vehicle schedules and delivery quantities for the retailers with the objective of minimizing the sum of ordering cost at the warehouse, inventory holding cost at both the warehouse and retailers, and transportation cost. For the problem, we give a Mixed Integer Programming formulation and develop a Lagrangean heuristic procedure for computing lower and upper bounds on the optimal solution value. The Lagrangean dual problem of finding the best Lagrangrean lower bound is solved by subgradient optimization. Computational experiments on randomly generated test problems showed that the suggested algorithm gives relatively good solutions in a reasonable amount of computation time.

Today diving activity and technology are indispensable for underwater technology and offshore engineering. And then diving business is still more important to business of subsea. This study surveyed the issue of diving activity in Korea as for compared foreign diving activity. This paper analyzed the status of diving business that include commercial and sport-leisure diving business and development of commercial divers in Korea. This paper reputed the object, the necessity and the character of commercial divers. For the purpose of this study is considered in order to analyze the environment of commercial divers and propose the planning for industrial diving business. Under the present circumstance in Korea this development planning study may be restricted. but the effective planning to activate Korean commercial diving business is abstracted as follows; First, establishment of new course, grade, certificate and licence test for diver is a pre-requisite factor for the successful enactment. Second, the political assistance of concerned government authority is needed. Third, establishment of Korean diving school and medical center for divers are strongly required. Forth, setting up the department of diving activity in university.

In spite of the importance of the farm area in Seoul, in providing fresh vegetables, a pleasant environment and a good quality of life for residents, rapid urbanization and industrialization have greatly reduced the farm area. The purpose of this study is to examine farmers' intentions and attitudes to provide supporting data for planning the strategy of urban agricultural development. All the collected data was analyzed using the contingency tables and the Chi-square test using the SAS computer statistical package. Based on analysis of the survey data, the leaseholders were found to be more satisfied with their job than the landowning farmers. Also, the small-scale farmers with green houses showed greater job satisfaction than the ordinary large-scale farmers. Farmers' views on the farming in Seoul were different depending on their status. Therefore, agricultural strategies in there should be considered their different attitudes.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the state of the living arrangement plan, the housing plan, and economic plan for elderly's life and contributing factors to their life plan. The sample in this study consisted of 713 middle-aged and aged couple living in Korea. Statistics employed for the analysis were frequencies, means, x2 test, logit analysis and multiple regression. The results could be summarized as follows. The middle-aged and aged couple were planning to live independently in their elderly life. The husband's age, religion, living area, total income, total asset, home owenership had significant effects on the living arrangement of the middle-aged and aged. They had a plan to live in single detached house in their elderly life. And husband's age, educational attaintment, job, and living region were affecting the housing type in their elder life. The middle-aged and aged people had a economic plan that they estimated 970,000 won as living cost in their elderly life. And the factors affecting living costs were husband's educational attaintment, job, and total asset.

A new generation planning algorithm considering environmental constraint by using fuzzy technique is developed. This algorithm has a new formula which can consider environmental constraints and an effective solving method which has newly developed fuzzy dual procedure. By using this algorithm, economic generation planning considering environmental constraints can be scheduled. The usefulness of this method is verified by applying it to the test system.

There are some studies about user's participation to reflect their desire and value on the planning of house by this time. These were constitution of unit space focused on the apartments, which is mostly theoretical. In architectural planning process, it takes time for continuous discussion and revision between architects and users. Also changes of plan must of necessity be so because of in or outside conditions. So, user's participation has its meaning that they take part in each step and portion of process faithfully on whole architectural processes. In this case, tenants of single houses were decided and they already buy building site and lay out rules jointly. With this circumstance I've researched a kind of test the reflection on various desires and its acceptance in each steps through completion of a construction work, which is based on their participation.

The Mission environment of UGV(Unmanned Ground Vehicle) has a complexity and variety, and the status of system and sensor is dependent on the environment factors such as operation time, the weather and road type. It is necessary for UGV to cope adaptively with the various mission types, operation modes and operation environment as human operators do. To satisfy this necessity, we present an autonomy manager based on the autonomous architecture. In this paper, we design a path planning software architecture and LPP manager by using open autonomous architecture which is previously designed by ADD. Field test is conducted with UGV in order to verify the performance of LPP Manager based on the Autonomous Architecture with scenarios.

This paper describes a new methodology to get pareto-optimal generation planning for decision-making. To get optimal generation planning consider total quantity of contamination for the specified term, authors employ dynamic programming. And, in the course of dynamic programming, pareto optimal solution can be obtained. So, a most proper solution can be selected by derision-maker. The usefulness is verified by applying It to the test system.

In recent years, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) were actively developed in various fields. In development process of UAVs, flight test is performed to ensure that minimum safety requirements and technical requirements are met. By constructing flight test infrastructure such as takeoff and landing facilities, operation procedure, and equipments, flight test can be performed effectively. In this paper, operation procedures of civil UAV's flight test are proposed. The procedures proposed are composed by two main steps: first, planning and permitting procedure of flight test. Secondly, execution and control procedure of flight test.

Uncertainties generated from the individual measured variables have an influence on the uncertainty of the experimental result through a data reduction equation. In this study, a performance test of a single stage axial type turbine is conducted, and total-to-total efficiencies are measured at the various off-design points In the low pressure and cold state. Based on an experimental apparatus, a data reduction equation for turbine efficiency is formulated and six measured variables are selected. Codes are written to calculate the efficiency, the uncertainty of the efficiency, and the sensitivity of the efficiency uncertainty by each of the measured quantities. The influence of each measured variable on the experimental result is figured out. Results show that the largest uncertainty magnification factor (UMF) value is obtained by the inlet total pressure among the six measured variables, and its value is always greater than one. The UMF values of the inlet total temperature, the torque, and the RPM are always one. The uncertainty percentage contribution (UPC) of the RPM shows th, lowest influence on the uncertainty of the turbine efficiency, but the UPC of the torque has the largest influence to the result among the measured variables. These results are applied to find the correct direction for meeting an uncertainty requirement of the experimental result in the planning or development Phase of experiment, and also to offer ideas for preparing a measurement system in the planning phase.
