Risk-based Test Case/Test Set Value Estimation Model (리스크 기반 테스트 케이스/테스트 세트 가치 추정 모델)

  • In this paper, we proposed a prioritization method of test cases using a value estimation model of test sets, that are key elements for highly effective software testings as well as involve a large cost factor in software developments and maintenances. Based on previous studies, our idea includes introducing some practical factors of the test case prioritization which critically influence the value of a test case: Relative values of test sets before and after the test running, Average value of these two relative values, Severity of the defect, Risks that are covered, Frequency of use, Change related values, Systematic elicitations, etc. Finally we discussed the usefulness and the expected effects of the proposed scheme.

Test Technique for Performance Verification of Fracture-Type Canister Cover (파열식 발사관 덮개의 성능검증을 위한 시험기법)

  • When a missile is launched, a fracture-type canister cover should be properly broken by a collision with a missile or inner pressure of a canister. The fracture performance of a canister cover should be evaluated by a test using a real missile; however, it is unrealistic due to high cost and time restriction in a design stage. In this study, a test technique is newly developed to predict fracture performance of a canister cover. The test was design to have same kinetic energy with a real missile test when the cover is collide with a missile. The effectiveness of the suggested test technique was proved by comparing the test result with that of a real missile test.

  • In this thesis, two test flights were conducted in Gwacheon and Suwon area to evaluate the performance of accuracy and efficiency through the analysis of results among the three photogrammetric methods, that is, traditional photogrammetry, GPS -Photogrammetry and GPS/INS-Photogrammetry. Test results shows that a large variety of advantages of GPS-Photogrammetry and GPS/INS-Photogrammetry against traditional photogrammetry is to be verified. Especially, the number of ground control points for the exterior orientation could be saved more than 70-80%, and the cost for map production 30-50%, respectively. In addition, it was convinced that the large reduction of control points has not any effect on the block accuracy. It was also proved that the number of required ground control points for GPS/INS-Photogrammetry, is similar to that of GPS-Photogrammetry. Therefore it should be noted that GPS -Photogrammetry is more efficient in the aspect of reduction of mapping cost against GPS/INS-Photogrammetry, installing only an existing GPS receiver on survey aircraft to avoid high economic burden of procurement for integrated GPS/INS equipment.

  • The size of leisure space has been determined on the basis of the annual and peak day's number of visitor, turnover rate, and size per visitor. But the past models have no theoretical base and practical errors on the many cases. So, this study was carried out to build and test a new theoretical model for selecting a optimal size of theme park. The basic concept of the model building is the break-even point analysis of cost-volume-profit relation. That is, Gain-Loss of theme park is determined by marginal profit and fixed cost by size. YongIn Farmland was selected as a model test case.

  • The purpose of this paper is to study to the nature and function of scientific inquiry and research methods, particularly as they apply to the influencing factors in library schools. For the variables used, they are the average cost per student for training, the total percentage placement in library and library-related work, the average salary for year, and the type of schools. In interpreting data using, t -test analysis of correlation and regression are applied.

  • Earlier models of card vending machines have generally motion drives with high cost and large size. However, current trend in card vending machines requires low-cost, compact-sized and readily installable motion drives. This paper shows the operational principle of the motion drive of a card vending machine and then presents the performance test results of the motion drive with improved mechanisms proposed in the paper. The results show that the proposed mechanism is valid and improves the card dispensing performance. The proposed model in the paper is accepted and introduced in the actual production line.

  • Polyurethane casting wing fairings included in F-5E/F 15% spar kit are to be installed on aircraft wing surfaces and used for compensating the changes of the aerodynamic configuration by the leading edge extension fairings. These fairing are mandatory items in repairing wing areas and was imported from foreign supplier with long term delivery and high cost. Accordingly, local manufacturing is necessary to get rid of above disadvantages such as long term delivery and high cost. Basic properties test of specimen to be developed and part's requirements after localization was taken and its values were similar or higher when comparing with the original's even in low temp test at -55C. Casting mold process was used to manufacture the polyurethane fairings and its demensional stability & physical condition was proper and met to the related specification and drawing's requirements

  • This paper proposes the process to develop a light-weighting automotive door assembly using high strength steel with low cost penalty. In recent years, the automotive industry is making an effort to reduce the vehicle weight. In this study, inner panels for automotive front door using thinner sheets and quenchable boron steel were designed to reduce the weight of conventional one. In order to evaluate the stiffness properties for the proposed door design, the several static tests were conducted using the finite element method. Based on the simulation results, geometry modifications of the inner panels were taken into account in terms of thickness changes and cost saving. Furthermore, a prototype based on the proposed design has been made, and then static stiffness test carried out. From the results, the proposed door is proved compatible and weight reduction of 11.8% was achieved. It could be a reference process for automotive industry to develop the similar products.

  • By the newly emerging network access technology, we face the new heterogeneous network environment. Focusing on the co-existence of multiple access network technology and the complex service needs of users, the wireless service operators should present the stable service quality for every user. For this, the service operators should build the new operation framework which combine the pre-established network and newly adopted one. Our problem is finding the optimal heterogeneous network operation framework. We suggest market-based marginal cost function for evaluating the relative value of resource of each network and develop the whole new heterogeneous network operation framework. To test the applicability of developed operation framework, we build large-scale JAVA simulator. By this development, we can easily test the new network environment in practical engineering field.

  • Instead of very expensive sound record and professional measurement microphones the low cost Surface Mounted Device (SMD) microphones are proposed for practical barrier ANC system. FRF of the microphones and theirs sensitivity to the wind interferences are evaluated in semi anechoic chamber. The improvement of feedforward algorithm noise reduction index was evaluated based on measured coherence function between tested SMD and reference microphone. Test was performed at various wind speed from 1 m/s to 5 m/s.
