임베디드 소프트웨어의 평가 프로세스와 시험체계의 구축 (Construction of Evaluation Process and Test System for Embedded Software)

  • 임베니드 소프트웨어의 품질시험을 통해 임베디드 시스템 子매자늘의 요구에 부합되는 고품질의 시스템을 구현할 수 있다. 임베디드 소프트웨어의 경우, 아직까지 국내에서 활용할 수 있는 구체적인 품질시험 체계가 구축되어 있지 않은 실정이다. 최근 다양한 임베디드 시스템들이 개발되고 있으나 결함으로 인한 리콜 등 품질면에서 많은 문제점들이 노출되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 임베디드 소프트웨어 평가를 위해 ISO/IEC 12119를 근간으로 하여 품질시험을 수행할 수 있는 평가모듈과 품질검사표를 개발하여 임베디드 소프트웨어 평가에 적용할 수 있도록 하였다.

RC 슬래브 교량의 현장재하시험을 통한 안전성 평가 (Safety Evaluation through Field Load Test of RC Slab Bridge)

  • Currently, RC slab bridges in use in Korea account for most of the total bridges, and bridges with a service life of 20 years or more account for about 75%. However, most of these RC slab bridges have a span of less than 20m and are not included in the first and second types of facilities, so maintenance is very neglected. Therefore, in this study, field load test is performed on an aged RC slab bridge, and the performance evaluation is performed based on the structural response results (deflection, impact coefficient, natural frequency, etc.) of the bridge obtained through field load test. In addition, the performance evaluation results obtained through the load test are intended to be used as basic data for the damage evaluation process of the bridge currently under development.

  • 최근 모델링 및 시뮬레이션 기술이 다양한 분야에서 활용되고 있으며 특히, 국방 분야에서는 모의기반획득(Simulation Based Acquisition)이 필수적인 정책으로 인식되고 있다. 모의기반획득 과정 중 시험평가 단계에서는 실제 시험이 불가능한 시험평가 환경을 모의하고 실장비 연동검증을 위한 모의 기반 시험환경 구축이 필요하다. 이때 시험평가의 효율성 및 신뢰성향상을 위해 시험평가 장비의 상호운용성, 재사용성 및 신뢰성 확보가 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 지대공 유도무기 체계 시험평가의 효율성을 위해 시뮬레이션 프레임워크 기반 모의기를 제작하였고 시험평가 신뢰성 향상을 위해 VV&A 프로세스를 적용하였다. 지대공유도무기 시험평가를 위한 통합시험시스템의 개발과정 및 특징에 대해 설명하고 실제 시험평가 적용사례 및 결과를 제시하며 향후 활용방안 및 연구방향에 대하여 설명한다.

운용시험평가 데이터를 활용한 함정 운용가용도 평가 방안 및 사례 연구 (A Study on the Case Study and Evaluation Methodology of Operational Availability for a Naval Ship using OT&E Data)

  • Navy forces of ROK asked for more than 90% operational availability in the requirement document of combat ship. This study proposes the evaluation methodology of operational availability with the evaluation process, calculation formula, analysis of operational test data. As the case study, the developed methodology is proved to apply for 00 batch-I naval ship using the data to be acquired during the operational test period. The operational availability by test data was 90.03%, and it was satisfied with objective value 90%. The paper will contribute not only to establish the evaluation methodology of operational availability for combat ship but also other general weapon system.

  • This study deals with the evaluation of bending fatigue strength in shaving gears, We manufactured gears using manufacture processes that are currently used in most gears manufacturing companies. The test gears are hobbed then the tooth surface are treated by a combination of shaving carbonizing and shot peening. The constant stress amplitude fatigue test is performed by using an electrohydraulic servo-controlled pulsating tester. The S-N curves are obtained and illustrated. In this study we investigated the effect of shaving process and shot peening on fatigue strength, The effect of shaving process ad shot peening on the fatigue strength is evaluated quantitatively,. The enhancement of fatigue strength due to shaving process and shot peening is clarified

시험평가 실험계획을 위한 최적화 모형 (Optimization Model for Planning of Experiments in Test and Evaluation Process)

  • Purpose: It is critical to design a set of experiments in Test and Evaluation Process for a weapon system. Because there is no sufficient resources in real-world, one must choose a subset of experiments which is considered to be more important. Methods: We introduce an optimization model for choosing the subset of experiments by considering a priority of experimental variable and level and restrictions of resources. We describe in detail how we construct objective function and constraints which must be a right realization of our logic and assumption. Conclusion: Since our optimization model turns out to be computationally difficult to solve, we introduce an algorithm for reducing the size of problem. Various computational results follows.

Evaluation of Field Calibration Test on Rail for Train Wheel Force Measurement

  • An accurate measurement of the train-track interaction forces is important for track performance evaluation. In the field calibration test as a wheel load measurement process, the calibration system creates a different boundary condition in comparison with that in the train wheel passage. This study aims to evaluate a reliability of the field calibration test in the process of wheel load measurement. Finite element models were developed to compare the deformed shapes, bending moment and shear force profiles on the rail section. The analysis results revealed that the deformed shapes and their associated bending moment profiles on the rail are significantly different in two numerical simulations of the calibration test and the train wheel load passage. However, the shear stress profile on the rail section of the strain gauge installation in the field was almost identical, which may imply that the current calibration test is sufficiently reliable.

  • For the evaluation of the mobile robot performance in complex environments, the experimental approach in an actual physical environment has been commonly taken. In the physical experimental approach, however, it is quite difficult to define the proper environment for the evaluation due to the lack of commonly agreed characteristics of the test environment. Particularly the number of combinations of types and physical parameters of the obstacles that the mobile robot is expected to deal with is practically unlimited. In an effort to simplify and improve the effectiveness of the evaluation process, we propose an evaluation method using decomposed environmental elements, where we evaluated the performance of the robot for a small group of simple and decomposed obstacle components, for examples projection and slope, instead of a large group of complicated random obstacles. The paper describes a set of simple obstacle models and performance parameters that we have chosen for the effective evaluation process. As an alternative to the physical experimental evaluation approach, in this paper, we used a virtual evaluation environment where the robot and the physical test environment has been modeled using a commercial multi-body dynamics analysis packaged called RecurDyn.
