초등학생들의 과학 학습과 관련된 인지적, 정의적, 행동적 특성과 과학기술 관련 직업에 대한 인식의 관계 (The Relationships among Elementary School Students' Cognitive, Affective, and Behavioral Characteristics Related to Science Learning and Their Perceptions toward Scientific and/or Technological Professions)

  • In this study, we investigated the elementary school students' perceptions toward scientific and/or technological professions in the views of accuracy, complexity, and diversity, and compared them by the students' grades and their science-related career aspiration levels. We also studied the relationships among the students' perceptions toward scientific and/or technological professions and their cognitive (science achievement), affective (enjoyment of science lessons, attitude to scientific inquiry, self-efficacy), and behavioral (participation in science-related activity) characteristics. The subjects were 369 students of 4th and 6th grades at three elementary schools in Seoul. The results revealed that the students were relatively well aware of what works and professions in science and/or technology were, but they did not have good understanding of them in the views of complexity and diversity. The 6th graders had better perceptions toward science and/or technological professions than 4th graders, although they showed the lower scores of attitude to scientific inquiry. Moreover, the higher science-related career aspirations were, the higher scores in all tests of the perceptions and the personal characteristics were. The students' perceptions toward scientific and/or technological professions were found to have relationships with their cognitive, affective, and behavioral characteristics. The multiple regression analysis of the personal characteristics on the perceptions toward scientific and/or technological professions indicated that science-related activity, science achievement, and self-efficacy were significant predictors. Educational implications are discussed.

Factors Influencing Technology Adoption in Vietnam's Educational System

  • This research aims to shed light on the technology adoption process and its drivers in the Vietnamese educational system. Research data was collected with an online questionnaire from more than 600 teachers in primary schools, secondary schools, high schools, colleges, and universities in Vietnam in 2020. Based on a holistic literature review, we develop a model of two extrinsic factors (global needs and school-infrastructure), and two intrinsic factors (teachers' technological literacy and their beliefs), which are correlated with the teachers' technological adoption. We measure the dependent variable by asking the teachers' ability and their efficacy to implement technology in teaching according to a Likert scale. With the support of SPSS_22 and STATA_2015, we find that over 70% of changes in technology adoption are explained by the changes in four independent variables and three control variables related to age, gender, and teaching-level of the teachers. Furthermore, these independent variables are significantly and positively associated with two dependent variables. However, a significant difference in technology integration ability can be seen among teachers' gender, age, and school-level. Specifically, male teachers seem to adopt technology at schools than female teachers better, and university teachers have the lowest level of technology adoption compared to other school-level teachers.

  • 본 연구는 '기업의 환경요인을 통한 기술혁신이 Smart Factory 구축에 미치는 영향'에 대한 실증연구이다. 연구 목적은 Smart Factory를 구축할 때 내부환경이나 중점적으로 추진할 요인을 고려하고 구축하여 Smart Factory의 활용도와 효과를 높이는 것이다. 연구방법은 Smart Factory를 구축한 기업의 관련 인원들에게 설문을 조사하여 SMART PLS로 통계분석 하였다. 연구결과는, 기업 내부 조직 요인과 자기효능감은 기술혁신에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고, 기술혁신은 Smart Factory 구축의 핵심요인에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 그리고 조절변수인 흡수역량은 기술혁신요인과 상호작용으로 Smart Factory 구축의 핵심요인에 부분적으로 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구는 Smart Factory를 구축하려는 기업이 활용할 수 있으며, 실증분석을 통한 Smart Factory 구축연구에 이론적 토대를 마련한 의의가 있다.

예비 초등교사의 테크놀로지 교수학적 내용지식을 향상하기 위한 프로그램의 개발 및 적용 (Designing and Implementing Integrated Lessons for Pre-service Elementary Teachers' Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge Development)

  • Teaching with technology has been widespread in practical classroom settings, and increased the needs to enhance pre-service teachers' capability with a variety of technologies. The purpose of this study is focused on designing and implementing a training program to develop pre-service teachers' Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge(TPACK) which promotes them use technologies tactically in integrated science classes. Based on the theoretical framework of TPACK and Practitioner's Guide to TPACK, the authors developed ten periods of lessons comprised instructional skills in elementary science education. Subsequently, the program was applied into a teacher trainee course in Korea. The results of this study indicate that the TPACK training program for pre-service teachers significantly influenced on attitude toward convergence, TPACK, and science teaching efficacy of the engaged participants. The developed program, meanwhile, caused a significant TPACK improvement of female participants of the teachers college more effectively. Furthermore, it mitigated the gap between science and humanity tracks coming from their high schools. Consequently, there are possibilities to improve pre-service teachers' teaching strategies for integrated classes, if they have opportunities to review the comprehensibility of technological, pedagogical, content knowledge, and intersected areas with metacognitive perspectives.

사용자가 인지하는 기능적, 유희적 경험가치가 챗GPT의 재사용 의도에 미치는 영향 (The Role of Functional and Playful Experiential Value on the Intention to Use ChatGPT)

  • ChatGPT, a generative artificial intelligence(AI) technology that analyzes conversations to identify users' intentions and generates responses in consideration of the context of the conversation, is attracting attention from a user interface (UI) perspective that it can provide information through natural conversations with users. This study examined the effect of functional and playful values experienced by early users of ChatGPT on reuse intention and verified the structural relationship between technological efficacy, experiential values, and reuse intention. To verify the research model and hypotheses, a survey was conducted on college students who used ChatGPT for the first time. A total of 156 responses were received and 154 responses were used for analysis. As a result, both the functional experiential value and playful experiential value in the initial use process had significant effects on the intention to use ChatGPT. In addition, it was found that technological efficiency had a significant effect on functional and playful experiential values.

인적자원유연성이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향: 자기효능감의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Impacts of Human Resource Flexibility on Organizational Commitment Through the Mediating Effects of Self-efficacy)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 인적자원유연성이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향을 검증함과 동시에 인적자원유연성과 조직몰입 간의 관계에서 자기효능감의 매개효과를 실증하는 것이다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 중국 내 서비스 업종에 근무하는 직원을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하여 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인적자원의 유연성의 하위요인인 기술유연성, 행동유연성, 관계유연성은 모두 조직몰입에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미친다는 것이 실증되었다. 둘째, 인적자원유연성과 조직몰입 간의 관계에서 자기효능감의 매개효과를 검증한 결과, 자기효능감은 기술유연성, 행동유연성, 관계유연성과 조직몰입 간의 관계에서 모두 부분적 매개효과를 가진다는 것이 검증되었다.

공과대학생의 기술적 문제해결 전략과 자아조절 관련 변인과의 상관 연구 (A Study on The Correlations between Strategies of Technological Problem Solving and Variables related with Self-Regulation of Students in Engineering College)

  • 이 연구에서는 공학에서 접하게 되는 문제의 유형인 설계와 고장해결에 있어서 문제해결 전략이 자아 조절 관련 변인들, 즉 계획하기, 자아 관리, 노력, 자아 효능감 등의 변인들이 어떠한 관계를 보이고 있는지 확인하고자 한다. 공과대학 학생 120명을 대상으로 문제해결 전략 검사와 자아 조절 성향 질문지를 실시하였다. 검사 결과를 이용하여 설계 및 고장해결 전략과 자아 조절 변인간의 상관 관계를 분석하고 설계 전략과 고장 해결 전략의 상, 하위 집단간 자아 조절 관련 변인들의 집단간 평균 비교를 실시한 결과를 바탕으로 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 고장해결 문제에 대한 타당한 전략의 수는 자아 효능감과 계획하기와 정적 상관이 있으며, 설계 문제에 대한 타당한 전략의 수는 자아 관리, 계획하기, 노력과 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한 자아 효능감만이 문제해결에 있어서 타당한 전략의 수와 직접적인 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

창업자 특성이 자기효능감과 창업성과에 미치는 영향 : 창업 전 실무경험과 창업교육의 조절효과를 중심으로 (Effects of Entrepreneur Characteristics on Self-efficacy and Business Performance : Focused on Moderating Effects of Entrepreneurship Education and Experience in Business before Starting a Business)

  • 최근 연구흐름은 창업에 대한 성공은 창업자의 특성뿐만 아니라 무엇인가를 이루어 내는 자신감인 자기 효능감에 따라 성과가 달라 질 수 있다는 것이다. 따라서 본 논문의 연구목적은 첫째, 창업자 특성이 자기효능감과 창업성과에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 둘째, 창업자의 실무경험과 창업교육기간에 따라 창업자 특성이 자기효능감에 주는 영향이 달라진다는 조절효과를 분석하고, 마지막으로 이를 통해 창업 성과를 극대화하기 위한 방안을 제시하고자 하는 것이다. 프랜차이즈 가맹점을 제외한 274개의 일반 독립점포로부터 자료를 수집하여 구조방정식으로 연구모형과 17개의 연구가설을 검증하였다. 분석 결과 첫째, 창업자 특성 중 심리적 특성인 성취욕구와 위험감수성은 자기효능감에 정(+)의 영향을 주었다. 둘째, 창업 전 실무경험과 창업교육이수에 대한 조절효과를 확인해 본 결과, 창업 전 실무경험은 기술적 능력과 마케팅 능력을 통하여 자기효능감을 조절하는 것으로 확인되었으며, 창업교육은 성취욕구, 위험감수성, 기술적 능력, 마케팅 능력 등과 더불어 조절효과를 만들어내었다.

Technological Factors Facilitating B40's Motivation in Malaysia to Continue Using Online Crowdsourcing Platform

  • The increasing number of retrenchments because of the current global pandemic, Covid-19, has led many to shift to the digital economy, especially among the low-income group (B40) in Malaysia. Crowdsourcing is the collection of information, opinions, or work from a group of people, usually sourced via the Internet. Fueled by the development of Internet-based platforms that provided its technological foundation, and the need for an agile and uniquely skilled workforce, crowdsourcing has grown from the grassroots, with a burgeoning body of research investigating its many aspects. However, very few studies examined crowd workers' motivation for continuous participation on online crowdsourcing platforms. Thus, this paper aims to explore the technological factors that facilitate B40's group motivation in Malaysia to continue to participate in online crowdsourcing platforms. This paper employed a qualitative approach, using a semi-structured interview. The thematic analysis method was used to decode the data extracted from the interview transcript. The finding of this study identified four main themes and seven sub-themes: (1) Technology efficacy, (2) Platform Management: client-worker management, safety net, payment mechanism, (3) Platform Design: UI design, rating feature and (4) Infrastructure: Internet connection, technology infrastructure. This study can provide a guideline for managing crowdsourcing practices in Malaysia, especially for the crowdsourcing platform developer.

C4I 시스템 사용의 영향 요인에 관한 연구: 구조모형의 매개변수의 관점에서 (A Study of Influencing Factors Upon Using C4I Systems: The Perspective of Mediating Variables in a Structured Model)

  • The general aspects for the future warfare shows that the concept of firepower and maneuver centric warfare has been replacing with that of information and knowledge centric warfare. Thus, some developed countries are now trying to establish the information systems to perform intelligent warfare and innovate defense operations. The C4I(Command, Control, Communication, Computers and Intelligence for the Warrior) systems make it possible to do modern and systematic war operations. The basic idea of this study is to investigate how TAM(Technology Acceptance Model) can explain the acceptance behavior in military organizations. Because TAM is inadequate in explaining the acceptance processes forcomplex technologies and strict organizations, a revised research model based upon TAM was developed in order to assess the usage of the C4I system. The purpose of this study is to investigate factors affecting the usage of C4I in the Korean Army. The research model, based upon TAM, was extended through a belief construct such as self-efficacy as one of mediating variables. The self-efficacy has been used as a mediating variable for technology acceptance, and the variable was included in the research model. The external variables were selected on the basis of previous research. The external variables can be classified into following: 1) technological, 2) organizational, and 3) environmental factors on the basis of TOE(Technology-Organization-Environment) framework. The technological factor includes the information quality and the task-technology fitness. The organizational factor includes the influence of senior colleagues. The environmental factor includes the education/train data. The external variables are considered very important for explaining the behavior patterns of information technology or systems. A structured questionnaire was developed and administrated to those who were using the C4I system. Total 329 data were used for statistical data analyses. A confirmatory factor analysis and structured equation model were used as main statistical methods. Model fitness Indexes for measurement and structured models were verified before all 18 hypotheses were tested. This study shows that the perceived usefulness and the self-efficacy played their roles more than the perceived ease of use did in TAM. In military organizations, the perceived usefulness showed its mediating effects between external variables and dependent variable, but the perceived ease of use did not. These results imply that the perceived usefulness can explain the acceptance processes better than the perceived ease of use in the army. The self-efficacy was also used as one of the three mediating variables, and showed its mediating effects in explaining the acceptance processes. Such results also show that the self-efficacy can be selected as one possible belief construct in TAM. The perceived usefulness was influenced by such factors as senior colleagues, the information quality, and the task-technology fitness. The self-efficacy was affected by education/train and task-technology fitness. The actual usage of C4I was influenced not by the perceived ease of use but by the perceived usefulness and selfefficacy. This study suggests the followings: (1) An extended TAM can be applied to such strict organizations as the army; (2) Three mediation variables are included in the research model and tested at real situations; and (3) Several other implications are discussed.
