The rapidly developed environment by ubiquitous computing make the paradigm from e-trade to u-trade. The purpose of the study is to find out issue and the strategic suggestions that could link together between the e-trade and ubiquitous computing in side of information security. The study include the contents as follows; firstly, the technical explanations under the ubiquitous computing, secondly, e-trade's risks in security technology and lastly, issue and strategic suggestions how link them together in integrated view.

이 연구는 도서관 정리부서 변화 요인을 조사하고 국내 대학도서관 정리부서 조직 현황과 변화에 관한 사서들의 인식을 살펴봄으로써, 정리부서 조직 개선을 위한 변화와 발전 방향을 파악하고자 하였다. 도서관 정리부서의 변화의 주요 요인은 분담편목과 아웃소싱, 그리고 다양한 형태의 전자자원과 이에 대한 메타데이터 생성이었다. 국내 32개 대학도서관 정리부서 담당자를 대상으로 정리부서 현황과 조직 변화에 대한 인식을 조사 분석한 결과, 대부분 정리전문사서의 양성, 정리부서 체제의 변화가 필요한 시점이라고 응답하였으며, 전통적인 편목과 함께 전자자원에 대한 메타데이터 업무가 통합된 형태로 운영되는 것이 바람직하다고 인식하고 있었다. 하지만 현재까지는 대학도서관 전반적으로 메타데이터 관련 업무가 분산되어 있었고, 정리부서 내에서 담당하지 않는 메타데이터 관련 업무에 대한 파악이 부족한 것으로 조사되었다.

While human error has been one of the main technical issues from the early era of human factors engineering, it still remains hot and somewhat vague due to the various types of the concepts and words on human errors in practice. There may be some technical limitations hindering human error prevention activities. This paper introduces the human error activities described in the papers if this issue of ESK Journal according to a few criteria proposed for more effective technical review. And two basic technical issues are discussed on the concepts, perspectives, and classifications about human errors. Each activity shows its own artifacts associated with the safety purpose and the nature of the industry. This paper also provides a set of new technical bases proposed for a more effective management of human errors by considering the dependability, representativeness, and structuredness of human errors. Additionally, this paper includes some new challenges over the current prevention-oriented activities; positive utilizations of human errors to training/education, advertisements, fun and entertainments, and nudges.

On the job training is useful : a part of on the job training has increased the marginal productivity of future and rate of wage. Investment in a human capital depends on character of investment and market conditions. The innovation role of small and medium firms has recently received increasing attention in newly industrializing countries as they attempt to transform their industries from labor intensive to technology intensive. It also suggests some implications to the small and medium firms' strategies and public policies accelerating research and development. Lack of qualified scientists and engineers often inhibits the small and medium firms' ability to access and assimilate external technical information. Such technical personnel are particularly scarce in NICs. Therefore, how to employ these technical staff should be an important issue for small and medium firms seeking to acquire distinctive competences. Small and medium firms must invest further education and training to its labor.

In the case of a severe accident in a Light Water Reactor, the issue of late release of fission products, from the primary circuit surfaces is of particular concern due to the direct impact on the source term. CsI is the main iodine compound present in the primary circuit and can be deposited as particles or condensed species. Its chemistry can be affected by the presence of molybdenum, and can lead to the formation of gaseous iodine. The present work studied chemical reactions on the surfaces involving gaseous iodine release. CsI and MoO₃ were used to highlight the effects of carrier gas composition and oxygen partial pressure on the reactions. The results revealed a noticeable effect of the presence of molybdenum on the formation of gaseous iodine, mainly identified as molecular iodine. In addition, the oxygen partial pressure prevailing in the studied conditions was an influential parameter in the reaction.

Supramax bulk carriers cover a wide range of ocean transportation requirements, from major to minor bulk cargoes. Market forecasting for this segment has posed a challenge to researchers, due to complexity involved, on the demand side of the forecasting model. This paper addresses this issue by using technical indicators as input features, instead of complicated supply-demand variables. Artificial neural networks (ANN), one of the most popular machine-learning tools, were used to replace classical time-series models. Results revealed that ANN outperformed the benchmark binomial logistic regression model, and predicted direction of the spot market with more than 70% accuracy. Results obtained in this paper, can enable chartering desks to make better short-term chartering decisions.

This study was to suggest the necessity of depth research in order to enhance the effectiveness of technical consulting system. And the purpose of this study was to decrease the construction accidents to some extent, being on the increase day by day as it takes issue properly and suggest a reform measure. As for research method, it executed the collection of public opinions widely and questionnaire with the bibliography, expert of construction safety, the related institutions, academic world, safety association, and director of construction site. Also, it was to suggest the reform measure by the stage, classifying the problems on the system and operation by 4 stages like a stage of delivery of subscription and supervision, a stage of contract with guidance of technology, a stage of executing the guidance work of technology, and a stage of performance of advice.

이 연구는 국내 과학기술계에서 구축하고 있는 서지 DB의 품질 문제를 다루고 있다. 구체적으로, 과학기술분야의 중추적인 정보유통기관인 KORDIC이 1990년대 초부터 구축해 오고 있는 KRISTAL DB 중에서 핵심이라 할 수 있는 UNION DB와 SATURN DB를 선정하여 그 품질을 평가하고 개선방안을 제시한다. 특히, UNION DB와 SATURN DB의 품질 평가를 위한 접근 방식에서, 기존의 시스템개발자 중심의 논리를 배격하고 이용자 중심의 평가 기준을 제시함으로써 '정보시스템의 설계 및 평가'에 있어서 이용자의 중요성을 강조한다.

In a project schedule, it is possible to reduce the time required to complete a project by allocating extra resources for critical activities. However, accelerating a project causes additional expense. This issue is addressed by finding optimal set of time-cost alternatives and is known as the time-cost trade-off problem in the literature. The aim of this study is to identify the optimal set of time-cost alternatives using a multiobjective teaching-learning-based optimization (TLBO) algorithm integrated with the non-dominated sorting concept and is applied to successfully optimize the projects ranging from a small to medium large projects. Numerical simulations indicate that the utilized model searches and identifies optimal / near optimal trade-offs between project time and cost in construction engineering and management. Therefore, it is concluded that the developed TLBO-based multiobjective approach offers satisfactorily solutions for time-cost trade-off optimization problems.

The problem of managing digital design data including drawings, specifications and other technical data in building design and construction units is a real challenge, especially when there is a need to structure the design information across building design companies. The main difficulty in this information management is the shortage of unified rules (or standards) on how the digital design data should be gathered, archived, and preserved in the most efficient way for building design and construction units. The most important issue, which addressed in this work, is the standardized reference of all design data definitions.
