This paper describes the BLDC motor which is applicated for a top front loading domestic washing machine. This motor is adopted direct drive washing machine without gear-belt-pulley system. Because gear box is removed, machine volume and noise are reduced. Moreover mechanical troubles in gear box are removed. Realization of variable speed region through of PWM control and high speed is able to efficient washing and spinning.

According to the Article 4(Confirmity Assessment)of the Electrotechnical Regulation, Confirmity Assessment for the Electrotechnical Regulation decides confirmity of Electrotechnical Regulation; whether to satisfy performances and requirements(determined from Electrotechnical Regulation). It evaluates technical requirements, new technology and standards. However, it does not evaluate technical content stated from Electrotechnical Regulation & Conformity Criteria. From Confirmity Assessment, the technology will be decided whether to fulfill performances and technical requirements. Which is predetermined by contents related to Electrotechnical Regulation. Test standards and test conditions will be overlooked to determine its performances and technical requirements for safety. This paper will show that, studies have been done to determine the guideline for Confirmity Assessment, which is evaluated from performances and technical requirements associated with Confirmity Assessment of electrical installation for new technology of wireless power transfer.

Through analyzing papers on digital libraries and the contexts of usage of the term, ‘digital library’, this study investigates that the professional discourses about digital libraries regard them digital technologies. But digital libraries need to be recognized as socio-technical networks which are constructed by social interaction between heterogeneous elements. The study suggested that Social Informatics and a STIN(Socio-Technical Interaction Network) model should be applied to understand and analyze digital libraries as socio-technical networks.

This paper examines measures of technical efficiency in off-shore fishery based on a frontier production function model of the Cobb-Douglas type. Technical efficiency ranges between 57.13 and 98.62 percent. The results suggest that the highest TE in the industry is the trawl. Also, this analysis shows that Busan's Danish seine fishery has a maximum TE. Angling in Gangwon has a minimum TE. Empirical measures of technical efficiency in this study can be useful in analyzing the potential effects of policies designed to deal with the current fishery industry.

The Design and Optimization of a low-profile antenna for the Satellite Digital Audio Radio System(SDARS) using a Non-Dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm(NSGA) is presented. a fairly omni-directional elevation gain pattern over 60 degrees < q <60 degrees are obtained. The average value of the LCP gain pattern is approximately 2 dBic. The heights of the antennas are less than 0.251. The cross polarized signal level is approximately 12 dBic less than the co-polarized signal level.

The underground electricity distributions are significantly increased because of the urbanization accompanied by rural area developments. However, it has also been increased the safety accidents such as an electric shock around the handhole where the underground cables are connected to each other. This paper provides the base materials on the necessity to amend the installation regulation for securing the insulation and structure strength of handholds using the cast iron or fiberglass reinforced plastic. Article 137 in the judgement regulation for the Korea electro-technical regulation which is one of the installation regulations for handhole is amended and announced in 2017 by being based on the materials in this paper. It is expected to continually reduce the electric shock occurrence around handhole by considering the amended installation regulation.

The existing design materials by document type are restricted in searching and acquiring necessary design information because the materials consist of huge information and various document types. This study suggests a methodology to develop an electronic technical manual that can manage construction design materials by XML-base integrated information system. Electronic technical manual for design materials can provide visualized information through various multimedia tools such as multi-link, virtual reality and animation. Using an integrated electronic manual for construction project can prevent to miss necessary design information. The results of this study includes a data flow diagram to develop an interactive electronic technical manual (IETM) for construction design information. Finally the study suggests some scenarios for practical use and quantitative analysis of application effect analysis by AHP method.

It is well known that ascorbic acid (VC) is an important factor for several physiological reactions. In the skin, VC works as an anti-aging agent due to removing of oxidative stress generated by UV irradiation and stimulation of collagen synthesis. Thus, developing more effective VC derivatives is an important issue in creating anti-aging skin care products. Our study succeeded to develop a novel ascorbic acid derivative, ascorbic acid tetra-2-hexyldecanoate (VC-IP), which is a lipid-soluble pro-VC. The purpose of this study was to indicate the effects of VC-IP as pro-VC and anti-aging agent. First, it was examined whether VC-IP is converted to VC in physiological conditions. Since VC was detected from the cell extracts treated with VC-IP, it was indicated that VC-IP is a pro- VC.(omiited)

Recently several studies have indicated that ubiquinone-l0 (CoQ-10) decrease with aging in various organs of the human body. The decrease of ubiquinone-10 in the aging process suggests the reduction of both energy production in mitochondria and anti-oxidation with aging. Based on these findings, Ubiquinone-10 is being focused at as an anti-aging agent in the cosmetic market.(omitted)

This study presents the results of a delphi survey which is intended to identify technical skills that corporations expect of employees. A total of 300 managers from different businesses took part in the survey. To obtain the delphi data, a questionnaire of expected technical skills developed on the basis of previous research was used. The obtained data were analyzed in terms of frequency and other descriptive statistics. Eleven technical skills emerged as important ones in the corporate environment. In order of importance, subjects listed communication skills, business capabilities, negotiation skills, problem-solving ability, organizational adaptation, ability to gather and analyze relevant information, practical computer literacy, self-management, creativity, and foreign language proficiency.
