Learning soccer robot using genetic programming

  • Evolving in artificial agent is an extremely difficult problem, but on the other hand, a challenging task. At present the studies mainly centered on single agent learning problem. In our case, we use simulated soccer to investigate multi-agent cooperative learning. Consider the fundamental differences in learning mechanism, existing reinforcement learning algorithms can be roughly classified into two types-that based on evaluation functions and that of searching policy space directly. Genetic Programming developed from Genetic Algorithms is one of the most well known approaches belonging to the latter. In this paper, we give detailed algorithm description as well as data construction that are necessary for learning single agent strategies at first. In following step moreover, we will extend developed methods into multiple robot domains. game. We investigate and contrast two different methods-simple team learning and sub-group loaming and conclude the paper with some experimental results.

국내대학의 건축시공 교육과정 운영 및 교육혁신 실태 분석 (Analysis on the Curriculum Operation and Educational Innovation in Building Construction of Domestic Universities)

  • 기술과 사회는 지속적으로 발전하고 있다. 발전하는 사회를 선도하는 대학교육도 끊임없이 변화가 요구된다. 본 연구는 국내대학 건축시공 분야의 교육혁신실태 분석하였다. 중요한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 국내대학의 건축시공분야에서도 교육혁신 강의가 도입되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 50개 대학 중에서 5개 대학에서 혁신강의를 하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 도입되고 있는 혁신교수법은 팀기반학습과 플립러닝이었다. 혁신강의와 전통적인 강의의 가장 큰 차이점은 학생들이 자기주도학습을 하도록 유도하는 것이었다. 이를 위해 평가방법, 주별 강의일정, 학습을 위해 지원되는 도구 등에서 차이가 발생하는 것으로 분석되었다. 사회의 변화에 부응하기 위해 대학교육의 혁신을 위한 지속적인 연구와 노력이 필요한 것으로 판단된다.

Trends in the study on medical education over the last 10 years, based on paper titles

  • Medical education research subjects are incredibly diverse and have changed over time. This work in particular aims to compare and analyze research trends in medical education through the words used in the titles of these research papers. Academic Medicine (the journal of the Association of American Medical Colleges), Medical Teacher (the journal of the Association of Medical Education in Europe), the Korean Journal of Medical Education (KJME), and Korean Medical Education Review (KMER) were selected and analyzed for the purposes of this research. From 2009 to 2018, Academic Medicine and Medical Teacher published approximately 10 to 20 times more papers than the KJME and KMER. Frequently used words in these titles include "medical," "student," "education," and "learning." The words "clinical" and "learning" were used relatively often (7.80% to 13.66%) in Korean journals and Medical Teacher, but Academic Medicine used these phrases relatively less often (6.47% and 4.41%, respectively). Concern with such various topics as problem-based learning, team-based learning, program evaluations, burnout, e-learning, and digital indicates that Medical Teacher seems to primarily deal with teaching and learning methodologies, and Academic Medicine handles all aspects of medical education. The KJME and KMER did not cover all subjects, as they publish smaller papers. However, it is anticipated that research on new subjects, such as artificial intelligence in medical education, will occur in the near future.

Blended Learning 환경에서 문제해결력 강화를 위한 스토리텔링 교수학습 모형 개발 (Development of an Storytelling Instructional Model for promoting problem-solving ability in a Blended Learning Environment)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop storytelling Instructional model for promote problem-solving in a Blended learning Environment. To achieve the purpose, the study was performed by dividing into two stages. First, the draft of storytelling Instructional model was proposed by performing a literature survey and a case study. Second, the draft model was applied to the actual work. And the draft was modified and developed to the final model on the basis of the draft model's strength and implemented to 28 students who were the sophomore of child care education department and enrolled the profession class of at S University for 6 weeks. From the implementation result of the model, it was obtained that there was the positive reaction on applying storytelling technique to the beginning stage of learning. Instructional model storytelling consists phases Preparing to perform Storytelling, Building the team and role sharing team, Problem providing, Planning for problem solving, Brend Story structuralization, Cooperative Learning and Problem solving, announcement of the results and evaluating and reflection of general. And then learning supporting components for a facilitator and a learner were prepared for each process. Established in a Blended learning Environment was created based on all-line, how to teach and learning supporting organization. Final Model was suggested as a blueprint for stages actual learning which was consisted of a introductory storytelling part, an main storytelling part and a post storytelling part.

프로젝트 기반 지역사회치위생학 현장실습 수업적용 사례 (Application of a Project-Based Learning on Community Dental Hygiene)

  • 본 연구는 G시 S대학교 치위생학과 학생을 대상으로 '지역사회치위생학 현장실습' 교과목의 수업방법으로 프로젝트 기반학습의 적용가능성을 알아보기위해 시행되었다. 연구대상은 2018년 4학년 30명이었다. 자료수집기간은 3월12일부터 6월27일까지이며, SPSS 20.0 program을 이용하여 평균과 표준편차를 비교하였다. 분석결과 조장의 팀 수행능력이 높은팀이 점수 결과도 높게 나타났으며($3.91{\pm}0.82$), 학생들은 실습은 꼭 필요하다($4.10{\pm}0.88$)하였고, 전공담당교수의 피드백($3.73{\pm}0.86$)이 가장 만족도가 높았다. '지역사회치위생학 현장실습' 교과목에서의 프로젝트기반 학습 수업적용에 의의가 있으며 수업에 적합하다고 판단되었다.

Problem Based Learning (PBL) 을 이용한 의상학과 이론수업방식에 관한 고찰 (The Effects of Problem Based Learning on the Social Psychology of Clothing course)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of PBL (Problem based-learning) on the social psychology of clothing course. Thirty-seven undergraduate university students completed a 15-week capstone course in a clothing and textiles department. Eighty-one percent of the participants were majoring in the clothing and textiles. The study was conducted two focus group interview with 37 undergraduate students. The participants demonstrated positive attitude toward the PBL (Problem Based Learning) in Social Psychology of Clothing course. The results showed that the students have more opportunities to practice collaboration within the team and to increase their self-esteem and self-confidence through the 15 week of teamwork. The participants were developed to express their opinion actively and solving the problem skills. Eighty percent of the instructors had a positive attitude toward the achievement of the course objectives. Seventy-five percent of the instructors expressed the difficulty of student's evaluation. Fifty-five percent of the instructors had a difficulty of development of module problems.

공학교육에서 PBL 교수법과 Project-team 교수법의 학습효과 분석-사례연구 (Analysis of learning effects of the problem based method and the project team teaching method in engineering education- A case study)

  • 많은 나양한 교수법들이 존재하지만 일반적으로 공학 교과목에서는 PBL교수법과 프로젝트 팀 교수법을 가장 많이 사용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 2018년 2학기 공학 프로그래밍 교과목을 3개를 선정하여 PBL 교수법과 프로젝트팀 교수법을 적용하였고, 두 교수법의 학습만족도, 교육성장도, 학업성취도를 설문조사하여 학습효과를 분석하여 보았다. 그 결과는 저학년은 PBL법이, 고학년은 프로젝트 팀 교수법이 학습효과가 좋았다. 따라서 같은 프로그래밍 교육이지만 학년에 따라 교수법을 달리 선택할 필요가 있다.

  • This paper aims to show the learning process and the educational effects of Divide-and-Combine principles and State Models, which are included in the Butterfly Model for creative problem solving. In our State Models, there are Time State Model, Space State Model, and Whole-Parts State Model. We have taught middle school students (for 18 hours), high school students (for 24 hours), and undergraduate students (for 1 semester) about our proposed Models when they solved contradiction problems. Also, we have made the students learn our contradiction resolution algorithms by themselves based on team-based discussion. By learning and by using our Models, the students had the higher level of expertise in contradiction problems and had the growth mindset that made them have confidence in themselves and kept them challenging themselves about problems. Also, learning and solving with our Models improved the students' growth mindset as well as their problem-solving ability.

Research on Local and Global Infrared Image Pre-Processing Methods for Deep Learning Based Guided Weapon Target Detection

  • 본 논문에서는 적외선 이미지에서 딥러닝 물체 탐지를 사용하여 유도무기의 표적 탐지 정확도 향상 방법을 연구한다. 적외선 이미지의 특성은 시간, 온도 등의 요인에 의해 영향을 받기 때문에 모델을 학습할 때 다양한 환경에서 표적 객체의 특징을 일관되게 표현하는 것이 중요하다. 이러한 문제를 해결하는 간단한 방법은 적절한 전처리 기술을 통해 적외선 이미지 내 표적 객체의 특징을 강조하고 노이즈를 줄이는 것이다. 그러나, 기존 연구에서는 적외선 영상 기반 딥러닝 모델 학습에서 전처리기법에 관한 충분한 논의가 이루어지지 못했다. 이에, 본 논문에서는 표적 객체 검출을 위한 적외선 이미지 기반 훈련에 대한 이미지 전처리 기술의 영향을 조사하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해 영상과 이미지의 전역(global) 또는 지역(local) 정보를 활용한 적외선 영상에 대한 전처리인 Min-max normalization, Z-score normalization, Histogram equalization, CLAHE (Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization)에 대한 결과를 분석한다. 또한, 각 전처리 기법으로 변환된 이미지들이 객체 검출기 훈련에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위해 다양한 전처리 방법으로 처리된 이미지에 대해 YOLOX 표적 검출기를 학습하고, 이에 대한 분석을 진행한다. 실험과 분석을 통해 전처리 기법들이 객체 검출기 정확도에 영향을 미친다는 사실을 알게 되었다. 특히, 전처리 기법 중에서도 CLAHE 기법을 사용해 실험을 진행한 결과가 81.9%의 mAP (mean average precision)을 기록하며 가장 높은 검출 정확도를 보임을 확인하였다.

The Effect of Problem-Based Learning for Patient Safety on Self-Leadership, Patient Safety Competencies, and Reflective Thinking of Nursing Students

  • This study is a one-group pretest-posttest design to evaluate the effect of problem-based learning (PBL) for patient safety on self-leadership, patient safety competencies, and reflective thinking of nursing students. The research was conducted from March 2 to April 15, 2022, in which 57 nursing students participated. PBL for patient safety was examined in a total of 8 sessions in the order of motivation, problem identification, task performance planning, problem-solving methods, summary and solution, presentation, and evaluation. The following topics of patient safety were selected for each team: nursing records, high-alert medication, medication error and intravenous fluid regulation, blood transfusion care, fall, bedsore, infection control, and pain management. We provided feedback on the learning process and outcomes of nursing students. According to the results, self-leadership showed a statistically significant improvement in self-expectations (t=2.60, p=0.01), goal setting (t=2.84, p<0.01), self-reward (t=3.32, p<0.01), and self-criticism (t=2.32, p=0.02). Patient safety competencies showed a statistically significant improvement in patient safety knowledge (t=13.05, p<0.001) and patient safety skills (t=4.87, p<0.001) but not in reflective thinking. The results prove that PBL for patient safety is an effective teaching-learning strategy to improve self-leadership and patient safety competencies. Future studies must develop and validate specific and long-term teaching-learning methods to improve reflective thinking.
