건설기계 디젤엔진용 실시간 시뮬레이터 개발 (Development of Real-Time Simulator for a Heavy Duty Diesel Engine)

  • 건설기계 산업에서 배기 및 연비 규제를 만족하기 위하여 엔진 시스템이 점차 전자제어화 되고 있으며, 이를 제어하기 위한 EMS(Engine Management System)의 복잡도 또한 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 EMS function 개발 시, 비용 및 개발기간의 단축을 위한 HiLS(Hardware in the Loop Simulation) 시스템을 개발하였다. HiLS 에 내장된 엔진 모델은 크게 Air, Fuel, Torque 및 동력계 모델로 구성되어있고 실시간 엔진 모사를 위하여 Mean value modeling 방법을 적용하였다. 이 연구를 통하여 개발한 HiLS 시스템은 EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation) 시스템과 Turbocharger 가 장착된 건설기계용 디젤엔진을 이용하여 정확성을 검증하였고, 테스트 결과 실 엔진 대비 90% 이상의 정확도를 얻었다.

  • Purpose of this study is to develop virtual components and environment for developing a controller of an Active Air Suspension System in laboratory that slough off existing development environment using real vehicle test. This paper presents an air spring modeling and analysis of air suspension system for a commercial vehicle. Preferentially, It was performed vehicle test for pneumatic system and an air spring for characteristic analysis of system. Each component of an air spring suspension system was developed through emulations and modeling of system for pressure and height sensors in the basis on test results in SILS environment. Non-linear characteristics of air spring are accounted for using the measured data. Also, pressure and volume relations for vehicle hight control is considered. After performance verification of virtual model was performed, we developed virtual environment based on HILS for an Active Air Suspension System. We studied estimation and verification technology for control algorithm that developed.

다종 전파교란원 위치추정을 위한 식별 및 측정치 획득 알고리즘 설계 (Design of Identification and Measurements Acquisition Algorithm for Multi-Type Jammer Localization)

  • 전파 교란신호가 발생할 경우, GPS 기반의 정밀위치제공시스템에 오작동을 일으킬 수 있으며 특히, 항공분야에서는 더 심각한 피해가 발생할 수 있다. 하나의 전파교란원에 대한 대응 기법이나 위치 추정 기법의 연구결과는 잘 알려져 있으나, 다수의 전파교란원이 다양한 형태의 신호를 송출할 경우에는 대응 및 위치 추정이 어렵다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 다수의 전파위협원이 CW, DSSS, SCW 형태의 신호를 송출할 경우에 위치 추정을 수행할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 신호 식별 및 측정치 획득 방법을 제안한다. 또한 제안한 방법을 검증하기 위하여 MATLAB을 이용하여 모의실험을 수행하였다. 실험 결과로부터 제안한 방법은 CW, DSSS, SCW 형태의 교란신호를 정상적으로 식별하고 측정치를 정확하게 획득하는 것을 검증하였다.

소형 2행정 엔진의 전송 포트 형상에 따른 소기 성능에 대한 수치 해석적 연구 (Numerical Study on Transfer Port Design for Scavenging Performance in Small Two-stroke Engines)

  • 본 연구에서는 무인 항공기용 소형 2행정 엔진의 성능 개선을 위해 다양한 전송 포트 형상의 가스교환 성능을 평가하였다. 성능 평가를 위해 네 가지 전송 포트 형상에 따른 3차원 전산 유체 해석을 진행하였으며, 가스 교환 성능의 정량적 평가를 위해 이상적 소기 모델인 완전 대체 소기 모델과 완전 혼합 소기 모델을 바탕으로 새로운 3단계 소기 모델을 개발하여 해석 결과에 적용하였다. 2행정 엔진의 전송 포트 형상 변경을 통해 흡기의 단락 현상을 효과적으로 줄였으며 가스 교환 과정 동안의 실린더 내 난류 에너지 또한 크게 개선되었다. 또한, 전송 포트 형상 별 3단계 소기 모델의 적용을 통해 가스 교환 성능을 정량적으로 평가할 수 있었으며, 포트 형상 별 소기 양상의 차이를 확인할 수 있었다.

이동용 영상촬영기기 바디캠을 활용한 팀단위 심폐소생술의 교육피드백 효과 (Training Feedback effect of team-based CPR using a mobile video recording device body camera)

  • 본 연구는 구급현장에서 사용되고 있는 바디캠을 활용하여 교육피드백 효과를 파악하고자 응급구조학과 4학년 32명을 대상으로 팀단위 심폐소생술 시뮬레이션을 진행하여 바디캠 피드백 전후에 대한 인식도, 교육피드백 효과, 만족도, 바디캠 기기활용 선호도 및 애로사항을 파악하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 27.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, 빈도분석, paried t-test, Wilcoxon signed rank test를 수행하였다. 연구결과 바디캠 사용에 대한 인식은 3.73±0.62점에서 4.45±0.54점으로 긍정적인 인식변화를 보였으며, 3.98±0.51의 긍정적인 만족도는 나타냈다(p<.001). 또한 바디캠 피드백 후 자가점검 정확도와 수행능력점수에서 유의한 상승효과를 나타냈다(p<.001). 따라서 팀단위 시뮬레이션 소생술 훈련 시 강사의 직접적인 피드백 없이도 바디캠 영상시청을 통한 자가피드백을 수행하여 자가점검능력 향상 및 수행능력향상의 긍정적인 교육피드백 효과를 발휘할 수 있다.

Comparison of retentive force and wear pattern of Locator® and ADD-TOC attachments combined with CAD-CAM milled bar

  • PURPOSE. The purpose of this study was to investigate changes in retention and wear pattern of Locator® and ADD-TOC attachments on a digital milled bar by performing chewing simulation and repeated insertion/removal of prostheses in fully edentulous models. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Locator (Locator®; Zest Anchors Inc., Escondido, CA, USA) was selected as the control group and ADD-TOC (ADD-TOC; PNUAdd Co., Ltd., Busan, Republic of Korea) as the experimental group. A CAD-CAM milled bar was mounted on a master model and 3 threaded holes for connecting a bar attachment was formed using a tap. Locator and ADD-TOC attachments were then attached to the milled bar. Simulated mastication and repeated insertion/removal were performed over 400,000 cyclic loadings and 1,080 insertions/removals, respectively. Wear patterns on deformed attachment were investigated by field emission scanning electron microscopy. RESULTS. For the ADD-TOC attachments, chewing simulation and repeated insertion/removal resulted in a mean initial retentive force of 24.43 ± 4.89 N, which were significantly lower than that of the Locator attachment, 34.33 ± 8.25 N (P < .05). Amounts of retention loss relative to baseline for the Locator and ADD-TOC attachments were 21.74 ± 7.07 and 8.98 ± 5.76 N (P < .05). CONCLUSION. CAD-CAM milled bar with the ADD-TOC attachment had a lower initial retentive force than the Locator attachment. However, the ADD-TOC attachment might be suitable for long-term use as it showed less deformation and had a higher retentive force after simulated mastication and insertion/removal repetitions.

Design of an Enhanced TDOA Method for Swept CW Interferences

  • Recently, devices like Personal Privacy Devices (PPD) are being employed to avoid the detection of one's location by GPS, and most PPD transmits swept CW signals. However, signals transmitted from PPD may interfere a precise location system based on GPS. Accordingly, in order to reduce interferences by PPD, a technique to locate an interferer is needed. In order to locate an interferer AOA method and TDOA method are generally used, TDOA method is known to be more accurate than AOA method. Unfortunately, TDOA method has a problem of ambiguity in obtaining measurements of swept CW interference. Thus, this paper design a localization algorithm based on TDOA method that can accurately locate an interferer transmitting swept CW signals by resolving problem of ambiguity. In addition, feasibility of the designed algorithm has been verified by simulation results.

Mathematical Modeling of VSB-Based Digital Television Systems

  • We mathematically analyze the passband vestigial sideband (VSB) system for the Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) digital television standard and present a baseband-equivalent VSB model. The obtained baseband VSB model is represented by convolution of the transmission signal (before modulation) and the baseband equivalent of the complex VSB channel. Due to the operation of the physical channel as an RF passband and the asymmetrical property of VSB modulation, it is necessary to use a complex model. However, the passband channel may be reduced to an equivalent baseband. We show how to apply standard channel model information such as delay, gain, and phase for multiple signal paths to compute both the channel frequency response with a given carrier frequency and the resulting demodulated impulse response. Simulation results illustrate that the baseband VSB model is equivalent to the passband VSB model.

  • The frequency accuracy and phase alignment is necessary for ensuring the quality of service (QoS) for applications such as voice, real-time video, wireless hand-off, and data over a converged access medium at the telecom network. As telecom networks evolve from circuit to packet switching, proper synchronization algorithm should be meditated for IP networks to achieve performance quality comparable to that of legacy circuit-switched networks. The Time of Packet (ToP) specified in IEEE 1588 is able to synchronize distributed clocks with an accuracy of less than one microsecond in packet networks. But, The ToP can be affected by impairments of a network such as packet delay variation. This paper proposes the efficient method to minimize the expectable delay variation when ToP synchronizes the distributed clocks. The simulation results are presented to demonstrate the improved performance case when the efficient ToP transmit algorithm is applied.

ARR-TSE 기반의 정지 표적 정밀 크기 추정기법 연구 (A Study on the Static Target Accurate Size Estimation Algorithm with ARR-TSE)

  • In this paper, The ARR-TSE (Automatic Range Restore - Triangulation based target Size Estimator) algorithm is presented for IIR (Imaging Infrared) seeker. The target size is important information for the IIR target tracking. The TSE (Triangulation based target Size Estimator) algorithm has suitable performance to estimate target size for static IIR target. but, the performance of the algorithm can be decreased by noise. In order to decrease influence of noise, we propose the ARR-TSE algorithm. The performance of proposed method is tested at target intercept scenario. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has the accurate target size estimating performance.
