본 연구에서는 한국정보올림피아드 경시부문 초등부 지역예선을 준비하고 컴퓨터 원리를 학습할 수 있는 교재를 Polya의 문제해결 단계의 원리를 적용하여 개발하였다. 교재의 내용은 학생들이 컴퓨터 원리를 학습할 수 있도록 프로그래밍의 기본이 되는 이산수학과 자료구조로 선정하였다. 개발된 교재는 J대학교의 정보영재교육원에 재학 중인 초등학생을 대상으로 투입한 뒤 기출문제를 재구성한 검사도구를 활용하여 정보올림피아드 문제해결 능력 신장에 도움이 되었음을 밝혔다. 앞으로 정보올림피아드 지도교사를 위한 지도서의 개발 및 연수 등 컴퓨터 교육을 정상화 할 수 있는 현실적인 여건이 구비되어야 할 것이다.

Among interactive dynamic geometry softwares, Cinderella has some merits on the accuracy of algorithms and compatibility with internet. In this paper we compare dynamic geometry softwares such as GSP, Cabri II, Cinderella briefly and we design a web based interactive learning materials using the exercise editor of Cinderella and some Java applets, and we propose a web based interactive teaching and learning model in which achievement test can be given by the clickings on the help icon.

The "flipped" or "inverted" classroom, in which students study lecture-type material at home and do their "homework" in the classroom, has been the subject of research, particularly in the area of student achievement. Yet Bishop and Verleger (2013) state the need for an underlying theory to the practice. The purpose of this paper is to explore "multidimensional teaching," the authors' extension of the two-dimensional "flipped" classroom concept in light of Cambourne's (1995) Conditions for Learning. One author's math class for pre-service teachers was taught in two styles, a more traditional lecture format and in the \inverted" format. Students in the "flipped" format achieved at a higher level. Moreover, students' open-ended comments reveal that Cambourne's Conditions for Learning were implicit to the teaching practice. The authors suggest that practitioners of this style of teaching should deliberately develop student-centered practices, such as those mentioned by Cambourne, in order to retain the power that this teaching style currently has.

It is necessary for lower grade students to study the correct usage of tools as a base of the technical education for dismantling and assembling various machines. However, enough understanding has not been obtained though the usage of these tools when training first grade students. So, we started to develop a teaching text and materials within the students' practice curriculum based on the dismantling and assembly of all-terrain vehicle [ATV]'s, which is a very motivating for lower grade students. This practice makes the student learn both how to use the tools and the steering mechanism of cars through the dismantling and assembling of the ATV. It is possible to not only have the student learn about the knowledge obtained through the practice, but also they also acquire wider and deeper knowledge through making the text and teaching materials for the practice. The textbook and secondary educational materials of this practice curriculum were created in cooperation with a fifth grade student as part of their graduation research. As a result, an effective teaching and learning text and secondary educational material regarding manufacturing practice could be developed from the student's point of view. Making a teaching text and materials is effective for promoting the study and experience of engineering.

The purpose of this paper is to develop a teaching and learning material integrated two subjects Pythagorean theorem and Fibonacci numbers. Traditionally the former subject belongs to geometry area and the latter is in algebra area. In this work we integrate these two issues and make a discovery method to generate infinitely many Pythagorean numbers by means of Fibonacci numbers. We have used this article as a teaching and learning material for a science high school and found that it is very appropriate for those students in advanced geometry and number theory courses.

We have created in our university material management environment, which uses database created by using LATEX-files, and LATEX2HTML translator and PHP language. In this paper we will define how these LATEX-files are transformed into our database. In this paper, we present work which we have done for providing the material used in the teaching of calculus to students at Lappeenranta University of Technology. This procedure can be divided into three separate steps: 1) creation of the LATEX-files, 2) implementation of these LATEX-files in 3) conversion of the base LATEX-files to the HTML-files. So far, we have stored hundreds of exercises with hints and solutions on our web server in addition to some theory that we felt is necessary for the students. In this paper we will also discuss the benefits and future of our functioning Web-environment [1].

This study analyzes Korean middle school students' pronunciation errors of stop-liquid sequences in English. The results showed two typical errors: the insertion of a vowel between a stop and a liquid and the substitution of a liquid with a flap or vice versa. Those pronunciation errors seem to occur since English and Korean have different syllable structures and different types of liquids. A teaching material, which emphasizes no vowel insertion for a proper pronunciation of the consonant clusters, was designed to reduce Korean students' pronunciation errors. Errors were reduced substantially after a 50-minute class with the newly designed material.

This study analyzes Korean students' pronunciation errors in stop-nasal sequences in English. For the study, 23 English words of stop-nasal sequences were pronounced by 4 natives and 21 Korean students. The results showed two kinds of pronunciation errors: the insertion of a vowel and the nasal assimilation between stops and nasals. A teaching material was designed based on the errors. After a 60-minute class with the material they were asked to pronounce the same words in another session. There was a substantial improvement in the error correction.

To achieve the aim of science education, it is known that warious teaching, and learning materials should have to be used. As a sub-textbook for primary science education, 'Sil Hum-Kwan Chal (Experiment and Observation), teaching and learing material are developed and using now in science. This material have following characteristics; (a) Soruce-book contains reading materials for additional information, various pictures to enririch the science concepts, and supplementary and enrichment activities. (b) Work-book consists of the detailed procedures of activities of experiments presented in the textbook, student can record the experimental procedures and results. (c) Operational manuals provide operation techniques for experimental equipments which are used in science class. In this study the using status are surveyed for the 3rd grade of primary school, and based on this survey the improvement plan are discussed in view of design, quantity and utility, of sub-textbook.

이 연구는 강완, 김남준(2010) 이 Wittmann(1984)의 이론을 근거로 2007년 개정수학과 교육과정에 근거한 교수단위를 추출한 것과 동일한 방법을 통해 도형영역의 교수단위를 분석한 것이다. 교수단위는 수학에서 가르쳐야 할 내용들을 목적, 자료, 활동, 배경 등의 4 요소에 따라 알갱이 단위로 조직화 한 것이다. 본 연구에서는 2007년 개정수학과 교육과정 도형영역에서 추출된 교수단위의 특징과 제목을 분석하여 교수단위를 개념알기형, 개념적용형, 관계알기형으로 분류하여 교육적 의미를 살펴보았다. 또한, 도형영역의 교육과정연구에 어떻게 활용될 수 있는지 그 방안을 모색해 보았다. 앞으로 많은 수학연구자와 현장 교사의 참여로 교수단위가 보다 체계적으로 조직적으로 연구된다면 새로운 교육과정을 수립하는 데 중요한 자료로 활용될 수 있다.
