  • This study is about a life history. Through investigating the life of retired teachers in preschool, elementary, and middle schools, authors wanted to explore the meaning of retirement and the process of adaptation to find out their personal and social needs in post-retirement life. Studies have shown that their experiences at childhood have greatly influenced the performance of one's profession, such as contributing to setting limits on behaviors of their students. In the period of interdependence, they have contributed to serving society and the nation beyond as a professional, and in the second half of his teaching career, they have learned that their painful experience was a resource and have realized that changing mind can make the world changed. Since teachers' behavior affects on many subjects unlike other jobs, rewards or satisfaction from the job was bigger than any other jobs. However, after retirement, they felt a sense of emptiness in life without any sense of belonging or accomplishment, while feeling happiness and infinite freedom in other hand. Thy still go forward for life challenging to new study.

  • The article reveals the problems of aesthetic education of young people as a necessary condition for the cultural development of the individual in the modern conditions of the information society. Aesthetic education should contribute to the formation of a creatively active personality. The basis of aesthetic education of young people in the modern conditions of the information society is the core of artistic culture - art as a unique form of public consciousness that contributes to the spiritual development and improvement of the inner world of a person. The main tasks of aesthetic education are highlighted. It is focused on the formation of aesthetic consciousness and aesthetic behavior of the individual. The formation of true aesthetic and spiritual values of students is impossible without a deep awareness of the national foundations of culture, which combines science (including technology), education, art, morality, way of life and worldview, and most importantly its information component - information culture. The effectiveness of aesthetic education of students largely depends on the skillful use of various methods and means by teachers. Aesthetic education of students involves a qualitative change in the level of their aesthetic culture in the modern conditions of the information society. In the era of information and computer technologies, the main Institute for aesthetic education of young people, as a necessary condition for the cultural development of the individual, is mass media. Television stands out especially because it has several information series (audio and video sequence), multiplied by the efficiency of providing information that increases several times compared to paper media, which allows you to report directly during the event.

  • Studying slope stability is an important branch of civil engineering. In this way, engineers have employed machine learning models, due to their high efficiency in complex calculations. This paper examines the robustness of various novel optimization schemes, namely equilibrium optimizer (EO), Harris hawks optimization (HHO), water cycle algorithm (WCA), biogeography-based optimization (BBO), dragonfly algorithm (DA), grey wolf optimization (GWO), and teaching learning-based optimization (TLBO) for enhancing the performance of adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) in slope stability prediction. The hybrid models estimate the factor of safety (FS) of a cohesive soil-footing system. The role of these algorithms lies in finding the optimal parameters of the membership function in the fuzzy system. By examining the convergence proceeding of the proposed hybrids, the best population sizes are selected, and the corresponding results are compared to the typical ANFIS. Accuracy assessments via root mean square error, mean absolute error, mean absolute percentage error, and Pearson correlation coefficient showed that all models can reliably understand and reproduce the FS behavior. Moreover, applying the WCA, EO, GWO, and TLBO resulted in reducing both learning and prediction error of the ANFIS. Also, an efficiency comparison demonstrated the WCA-ANFIS as the most accurate hybrid, while the GWO-ANFIS was the fastest promising model. Overall, the findings of this research professed the suitability of improved intelligent models for practical slope stability evaluations.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the pre-service teachers' concept of measurement uncertainty. The subject of this study were 27 pre-service middle-school teachers in Seoul. They carried out open-ended inquiry tasks and surveyed two kinds of open questionnaires, and interviewed several persons. We analysed their behavior and responses. Through the analysis, we summarize pre-service teachers' concept about measurement uncertainty with representation data, precision and accuracy, error analysis, propagation of uncertainty. The results show that the teachers' concept is different from scientists' concept. They make a mistake in using term of precision and accuracy and pay no attention to measure precisely. Also they only point out sources of error but don't consider how the error affects the results of experiment. The results of study will give! 1 some implications for the curriculum and teaching material developers in order that pre-service teacher and student gain scientific concept.

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify and evaluate interprofessional education (IPE) interventions for healthcare professional students in East Asian countries. Methods: The reporting of this study followed the Preferred Reporting Items of Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis guidelines. A literature search was conducted using seven electronic databases: PubMed, EMBASE, CINAHL, Scopus, Web of Science, ERIC, and ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global. Joanna Briggs Institute Critical Appraisal Checklists were also used to appraise the quality of the included studies. The outcomes of IPE interventions were classified based on a modified Kirkpatrick model. Results: This review included 30 studies predominantly conducted in Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan. The prevalent research design was a one-group pre-posttest design, and most IPE interventions occurred as single events. Approximately 70% of the studies involved students from two healthcare professions, mainly nursing and medicine. Simulations, group discussions, and lectures have emerged as the most common teaching methodologies, with almost half of the studies leveraging a combination of these techniques. The IPE content primarily focused on interprofessional teamwork, communication, and clinical patient care situations; these included the management of septic shock. The effectiveness of the IPE interventions was mainly evaluated through self-reported measures, indicating improvements in attitudes, perceptions, knowledge, and skills, aligning with Level 2 of the modified Kirkpatrick model. Nonetheless, the reviewed studies did not assess changes in the participants' behavior and patient results. Conclusion: IPE interventions promise to enhance interprofessional collaboration and communication skills among health professional students. Future studies should implement rigorous designs to assess the effectiveness of IPE interventions. Moreover, when designing IPE interventions, researchers and educators should consider the role of cultural characteristics in East Asian countries.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the tasks of 'dietary life' in the textbook developed according to the 2015 revised middle school 「Technology·Home economics」 education curriculum based on the multiple intelligence teaching and learning methods. To accomplish this purpose, 12 textbooks of middle school 「Technology·Home economics」 textbooks were titled "Nutrition and Dietary Behavior of Adolescents", "Planning and Choosing Meals", "Choosing Foods and Safe Cooking" except the questions, the tasks that the students can perform are analyzed based on the teaching and learning methods using multiple intelligences. Analysis methods were analyzed by using contents analysis method, focusing on learning activities, and sub-questions of activities were all included in each activity, and the process of preparing activities on a continuous line was grouped into one. Three people analyzed the activities and proceeded to revise and supplement the analysis standard through consultation. The other three researchers confirmed it. As a result of analyzing 12 kinds of textbooks, the number of activity tasks was 25~74 for each kind of textbooks, and the total number of activities was 527. According to the ratio of multiple intelligences, 35% of the tasks were using logical-mathematical intelligence, and 26.8% of linguistic intelligence, 23% of intrapersonal intelligence, 7.2% of interpersonal intelligence, 3.8% of spatial intelligence, bodily-kinesthetic(2.7%) and musical intelligence(1.5%). On the other hand, it was analyzed that there is no activity task using naturalist intelligence. Except to the naturalist intelligence, general intelligence was utilized. This indicates that the home economics curriculum is a convergence of the home economics curriculum in that it is a reorganization by extracting the contents and methods of other curriculum related to dietary life, is interpreted. This study is expected to provide a framework for various teaching and learning methods to activate students' participation classes and to provide an alternative to realize convergence education in home economics curriculum.

  • Objectives : The oral care during early childhood plays an important role to maintain sound oral health during adulthood. As the number of children's using child care facilities is on the rise recently, the children's oral health awareness and behavior of the educators at nurseries and kindergartens are to be examined. Methods : A self-recording survey was conducted on 194 educators at the nurseries and kindergartens in Chungnam region. Results : The most frequently given snack was milk, 91.8 percent of the facilities had children brush their teeth, 63.4 percent made them apply fluoride and 56.2 percent kept children's toothbrushes in an ultraviolet rays sterilizer. There was a meaningful difference in the awareness of the necessity to educate children about oral health according to the offer of the opportunity to apply fluoride (p<0.05). A meaningful difference was found in the recognition of the necessity to educate children according to their grade (p<0.05) and to train teachers themselves (p<0.05). The most desirable persons in charge of oral health education were dentists in health centers (46.9%) in order. The more experience in teaching they have had (p<0.05), when they're married (50.5%) (p<0.05) and when they're not homeroom teachers (52.6 percent), the more regular checkups they have had (p<0.05). As for the importance of oral health and the results of regular checkups, those who had answered 'very important'(42.4%) showed higher rate of regular checkup (p<0.05) than those who had answered 'important'(23.9%). When teachers have the experience to get trained about oral care (96.3%), the practice frequency of brushing teeth was proved to become higher (p<0.05). Conclusions : The educators for children should recognize the importance of oral health education, educate children to practice oral health care, and the environment and systematic foundation should be established which the educators manage effectively.
