영아보육교사의 전문성 향상을 위한 현직교사교육 프로그램의 현황, 효과검증 및 향후 과제 (A Study of Infant Care Teacher's Training Program and Its Effectiveness : Implications for Research and Practice in Early Childhood Education and Care)

  • 본 연구에서는 보육교사의 전문성과 자질을 향상시켜야 한다는 시대 사회적인 필요성에 입각하여 현재 우리나라에서 보건복지령에서 정하는 전문기관에서 위탁하여 실시되고 있는 영아보육교사 교사교육의 현주소를 파악해 보고자 하였다. 또한 지난 몇 년간 "영아기의 발달적 특수성, 보살핌과 가르침의 통합성, 영아보육에서의 포괄적 서비스제공의 필요성"에 기초하여 "영아전문가과정(Infant Care Specialist Program)"을 개설하여 성공적으로 운영하고 있는 국내 한 영아전문가 과정의 실제를 소개하고, 본 과정의 효과를 검증하였다. 그 결과, 본 영아전문가 과정에 참여한 교사들의 사후 교사효능감과 영아발달지식수준이 사전에 비해 유의한 변화가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 향후 영아교사 현직 교육프로그램의 내실화 방안을 마련하는데 있어 정책적, 제도적 제언을 제공하였다.

교사의 창의적 교수행동 및 역할수행과 교사-학생 간 상호작용이 중학생의 문제해결능력에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Teacher Creative Instructional Behavior, Role-Performance, and Teacher-Student Interaction on Problem Solving Abilities for Middle School Students)

  • 본 연구는 교사의 창의적 교수행동 및 역할수행과 교사-학생 간 상호작용이 중학생의 문제해결능력을 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 연구결과, 교사의 창의적 교수행동과 역할수행은 중학생의 문제해결능력에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 교사-학생 간 상호작용에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 교사-학생 간 상호작용은 중학생의 문제해결능력에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 교사의 창의적 교수행동과 역할수행은 중학생의 문제해결능력 사이에서 유의한 매개효과가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구결과는 교사의 창의적 교수행동 및 역할수행과 교사-학생 간 상호작용을 향상시킬 수 있는 교육 및 연수 프로그램이 필요함을 시사하며, 중학생의 문제해결능력에 도움을 줄 수 있는 학교교육의 이론적 실천적 함의로서 학교교육 발전에 많은 시사점을 제공한다.

결혼이주여성을 위한 이중언어강사 교육프로그램 개발 (A Study on the Bilingual Teacher Training Program for Married Immigrant Women)

  • This study is aimed at proposing and managing a program to foster married immigrant women who have bilingual-bicultural abilities. Four stages of research processes were followed. Firstly, bilingual teacher training was contemplated field experience and preceding research. Secondly, specialist groups reviewed and verified considerations of content validity. Thirdly, seventeen valid participants were selected and they worked on programs of ten sessions. Fourthly, the effectiveness of the program was verified through a survey of satisfaction. This study has its significance as a program that reflects the theory and reality to establish their identity reinforce the capability and arouse the multi-cultural consciousness.

Issues Concerning Student Teachers' Perception of ICT Education

  • The purpose of this paper is to describe about the issues concerning student teachers' perceptions of ICT use and obstacles they experience during the teaching. Student teacher experience conflicts with ICT in particular, and lack of confidence in using ICT. Furthermore, pre-service teachers experience various conflicts while teaching during student teaching. Main conflicts student teachers experience are reported that their lack of confidence in using ICT, especially in front of the student body during the class, and firm belief on ICT and its effects. Student teachers lack systematic training during their professional development. As a conclusion, the teacher training programs need to have systematic approach in their curriculum to assist pre-service teachers to use ICT before their student teaching to give them first hand experience in classrooms.

중등 과학교사 양성 과정의 실태 분석 (A Status Survey on the Preservice Education of Secondary Science Teachers)

  • The quality of science teachers is one of the most important factors to improve the science education in secondary schools. In this study the current status of preservice education of secondary science teachers was surveyed and the directions for the improvement were suggested as follows: 1. The purposes of departments of science education have to be partially revised to include other education programs related to science education than preservice training courses of science teachers. 2. Training courses of integrated science teacher should be organized differently from those of physics, chemistry, biology or earth science teachers because their requirements are different. 3. Strict standards of curricula for training science teacher have to be established and applied practically. 4. The curricula of departments of science education have to reflect the contents and the changes of secondary science education. 5. More credits to subjects on the science education, the nature of science, and the laboratory experiments should be taken in the preservice courses of science teachers. 6. Professors at the department of science education have to use various methods to teach inquiry lab and evaluation techniques so that students can experience them at the training courses. 7. The number of professors majoring in science education at the department of sciece education should be increased. 8. Enough research funds have to be supported to activate the researches in science education.

예방한의학 연수의 제도 시행에 따른 구체적인 규정의 개발과 시행 방안 (Residency Training Program Development and Operation Plan for the Residentship of Preventive Medicine in Traditional Korean Medicine)

  • With the start of the residentship of Korean preventive medicine in 2008, the residency training programs should be established and also operation plan for the residentship of Korean preventive medicine should be setup. This residency training program need to contain the future oriented study objective to be an expert of the preventive medicine and could be updated the changes in health service needs of the population. Specially in the part of Health Promotion(YangSaeng) in Korean Medicine, strengthening in medical practice, not just in knowledge is urgently required. And we should have more concentrations on preventive service for the individual, as in clinical preventive medicine. Training residents by the systematic and well scheduled programs, not just teacher..and assistant..in the academic facilities. These approach may not only contribute for the better future of the preventive medicine, but also improve in disease prevention and health promotion.

초.중등 영어교사를 위한 맞춤형 심화 연수 모형 개발 연구 (A study on the development of customized intensive in-service teacher training program models for elementary/secondary school teachers of English)

  • The present study reports on a study of the development of customized intensive in-service English teachers training programs (IIETTP) reflecting on the demands of elementary/secondary school English teachers. For the purpose of study, a survey was conducted with 1,033 English teachers at elementary/secondary schools across the country. The results showed by and large no significant differences by school level, albeit some slight differences were revealed such as in training times, training methods, the percentages of teaching English in English (TEE), and other things. Since the two IIETTP models are presented as basic formats, they can be modified and applied according to the contexts of schools and the demands of trainees.

중등교사가 인식하는 유능한 교사의 자질 (The Qualities of an Effective Teacher Recognized by Secondary Teachers)

  • This study examined the qualities of an effective teacher needed to accomplish educational reform successfully and prepare for a rapidly changing knowledge-based society. To achieve the purpose of the study, the following specific questions were looked into; (1) knowledge, skills, attitude of an effective teacher. (2) a proposal for staff development programs to improve the effectiveness of teachers. (3) a proposal to support teachers' efforts to improve their effectiveness. (4) the factors inhibiting the improvement of teachers' effectiveness. In this study, 'in-depth interview' was used for data collection because the study deals with the "subjective consciousness" of teachers, and qualitative research methods are useful to such a case. The research was done on teachers from secondary schools in Pusan City. According to the teachers interviewed, an effective teacher needed in the new age has such knowledge, skills, and attitude as; (1) knowledge in their major, general culture and common sense, psychology of educational counselling, social science, and knowledge and information related to curriculum. (2) effective instruction skills, skills to guide student behavior, skills related to administrative clerical work, using the computers, extra curriculum activities, educational evaluation, using teaching materials, developing educational programs, and good communication skills. (3) attitude relevant to willingness to understand and converse with students at their cognitive level, positive expectations and concern toward students, democratic problem solving, continuous self-study and development, thoroughgoing mission and professionalism, will for educational reform and innovation, neat appearance and refined language, and successful interpersonal relationships. The teachers also said that the current staff development system, as a program to provide necessary qualities for teachers, has improved in the last 3 years through diverse curriculum and systematic programs. However, due to the problematic promotion system, the staff development program has turned into just a 'point collecting' game from the role of in-service training program; teachers take training courses as the means just collecting points for promotion purpose. Factors inhibiting the improvement of teachers are (1) overload of formal paperwork over emphasizing outcome, (2) mannerism of teachers not perceiving their lack of professionalism, (3) the general attitude in the teaching profession resisting change and reform, (4) supervisory activities lacking rigid regulation, (5) research just as the means of point-collection only for promotion, and (6) staff development programs lacking efficiency. These factors, interacting each other, inhibited the improvement of teachers.

서예 전문인력 양성 방안 (A alternative plan to calligraphy professional manpower training)

  • 본 연구는 서예 진흥의 관한 법률이 시행됨에 따라 서예 교육 전문인력을 양성 방향을 검토해 보자는 의미에서 연구를 시작하게 되었다. 연구의 목적은 서예분야 인력 양성이라는 방향을 도출하고, 기존의 서당식, 도제식 방법과 다른 교육 전문인력 양성방향을 제안하는 데에 있다. 이를 위해 먼저 서예분야 인력현황을 실태조사와 선행연구를 통해 살펴보았다. 2022년 3월 기준 한국 대학 서예학과의 교과과정 현황 전체를 분석하여 그 특징을 살펴보았다. 본 연구에서는 교원 직무연수를 활용한 전문인력 양성방향과 지정기관을 통한 전문인력 양성 방향을 제시하였다. 교원 직무연수를 활용한 전문인력 양성방향은 교육 구성원이 함께 협업하여 참여자들의 역량 강화를 도모할 수 있는 자율연수방안을 선택하였으며, 서예교육 전문성 강화를 위한 직무연수 운영방안을 기본, 전문, 심화과정으로 제시하였다. 지정기관을 통한 전문인력양성 방안은 교육·전공·운영·소통역량에 총 26개의 프로그램을 제시하였다.

자유학기제 도입에 따른 영양교육의 현황 및 영양교사의 인식에 관한 예비조사연구 (Nutrition teacher's perception and current status of nutrition education for free learning semester program: a preliminary study)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the current status of nutrition education via a free learning semester program (NE). The understanding of the program, the potential difficulties, and future initiatives for NE improvement were also investigated. Methods: A total number of 161 nutrition teachers from Gwangju and Jeonnam filled in a questionnaire and participated in this survey, which was performed from July to August 2019. Results: Our results showed that 8.1% of the nutrition teachers had taught nutrition education in free learning semester programs. The most frequently implemented model was subject selection, followed by club activities. Most of the nutrition teachers comprehended the purpose of NE. The attitude of nutrition teachers to NE differed by the understanding of its purpose. Positive attitude was evident due to a better understanding of the purpose by nutrition teachers. Nutrition teachers reported the most common difficulties of NE were the lack of preparation due to the heavy workload and the lack of a standard running program. The most effective method of NE was the activity classes. The experience of practicing NE influenced the choice of contents for each operating model. Nutrition teachers that were experienced in NE conducted via free learning semester programs preferred the selected topics model, but those without experience chose the career search model. Conclusions: Although some obstacles exist, nutrition teachers had a positive attitude and perceived well the importance of NE. Therefore, the awareness for the significance of NE of nutrition teachers needs to be improved. For better NE practice, it is necessary to reduce/ manage the workload of general food service. Furthermore, the development of standard running and promotion programs, and teacher training programs should be ensured.
