공업계 고등학교 학생들의 학교생활 적응과 관련 변인 (Variables Associated with School-Related Adjustment of Technical High School Students)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 공업계 고등학교 학생들의 학교생활 적응도를 구명하고, 이와 관련된 변인들과의 관계를 구명하는데 있었다. 이 연구의 모집단은 공업계 고등학교에 재학하고 있는 고등학교 1학년 학생들이며, 조사 대상으로는 지역적 안배를 고려하여 총 600명의 공업계 고등학교 1학년 학생을 선정하였다. 자료 수집은 2007년 9월 28일부터 10월 13일까지 우편 조사를 통하여 이루어졌고, 최종분석에는 회수된 자료 중 불성실 응답을 제외하고 553부가 활용되었다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같았다. 첫째, 공업계 고등학교 학생들의 전체적인 학교생활 적응정도는 보통이며, 학교생활 가운데 학교규칙과 교우 관계에 있어서는 비교적 잘 적응하고 있다. 그러나 학교수업, 전공적응, 교사와의 관계에 있어서는 아직 적응을 못하고 있다. 둘째, 공업계 고등학교 학생들의 전체 학교생활 적응은 학생들의 중학교 때 현재 학과를 희망했는지 여부, 신입생 적응교육, 학습증진을 위한 교사 활동, 학교생활을 위한 교사 지원, 학교생활에 대한 학부모의 관심과 상관이 있다. 그러나 성별, 가족구조, 가정의 경제수준은 학생들의 전체 학교생활 적응과 상관이 없다. 셋째, 공업계 고등학교 학생들의 전체 학교생활 적응은 학습증진을 위한 교사 활동, 학교생활을 위한 교사 지원, 중학교 때 현재 학과 희망 여부, 학교생활에 대한 학부모 관심, 신입생 적응교육에 의해 설명되며, 이 가운데 학습증진을 위한 교사 활동이 공업계 학생들의 학교생활 적응을 가장 잘 설명하고 있다.

중학생 영재가 지각한 사회적 지지와 학교생활 적응과의 관계 (The Relationships Between the Perception of Social Support and the Adjustment to School Life of Gifted Middle School Students.)

  • The purpose of this study were to examine:(l)gifted middle school students'perception about Support fr~mpe ople around them, (2)the types of social support, (3)the number of support, and (4)the relationships among the factors above and the students' adjustment to school life The results obtained were as follows. On the whole, gifted middle school students obtained social support and their adjustment to school of life was higher than that of average students'. The rriore the students perceived support and help around them, the more they adjusted to their schlml life. The better important relationship was that of teachers' support and the student.,' adjustment to shool life. Namely, when the students perceived their teacher(support, their adjustment to a new school was greater. This study brmrght to atterltion that the teachers' understanding of the gifted students' specific character. In addition, a close relationship between teachers and the students was to be encouraged.

초등과학 수업에서 교사들의 스트레스에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Stress of Teachers for Elementary School Science Classes)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the stresses of teachers for elementary science class. To do these, the Science Teacher Stress Inventory has been developed the Science Teacher Stress Inventory, which consisted of 45 stress factors with subcategories such as student characteristics, teacher characteristics, expertise of science education, school environment, and administrative procedures. 120 teachers for elementary science class have participated in this questionnaire survey. The results of this study are as follow: First, stress from teacher characteristics is perceived as having more stress factors than five stress factors (student characteristics, teacher characteristics, expertise of science education, school environment, and administrative procedures). but all of the five stress factors was under normal. The detail question of stress such as 'Having to guide educational guidance and course in life education', 'Having to cope with the demand of new curricula', 'Pace of the school day is too fast', 'No time to attend training of the experiment (preliminary experiment)', 'Not enough time to complete lesson preparation and marking', 'Having to cope with non-teaching delegated duties', 'Fear of getting injured as a result of lab accidents' are perceived as having a lot of stresses. Second, there were not statistically significant differences in their personal variables such as gender, the course of high school. but there were statistically significant differences in their personal variables such as whether elementary subject exclusive science teacher, career in education experience, teaching grade. Third, coping ways of stresses are active support for better science teaching conditions, training of the experiment for expertise of science education, developing a workbook for science class.

의식주생활의 문화예술적 측면과 경험을 중심으로 한 가정과교사 직무연수 프로그램의 개발 및 적용 (Development and Application of a Home Economics Teacher Training Program Based on the Cultural & Artistic Aspects of Clothing, Food, and Housing Life and Experience)

  • This study was conducted with the budgetary support of the Gyeonggi Provincial Government Department of Education as curriculum preparation (frequently revised since 2007) for the enhancement of teacher professionalism in Clothing, Food, and Housing Life education. This study promotes changes in student learning through the enrichment of Home Economics content and the classroom-learning environment through the reinforcement of teacher professionalism and attitudes towards Clothing, Food, and Housing Life education. This study enhances the comprehension of Home Economics and understanding by educators on the importance of Home Economics. The training program was evaluated through an analysis of the motive of application, level of satisfaction with the program, change in the view of Clothing Life education, and level of expectation and contributions of the program towards the curriculum development of teaching. The trainees were motivated by the opportunity to practice, uniqueness of the curriculum of the training program, and expectations for professional enhancement. The level of satisfaction is very high. Regardless of subjects, trainees recognized the necessity of practical exercise, cultural & artistic approach, and integrated teacher training in Clothing Life education. The teachers of other subjects recognized the importance of Home Economics and the historical background of Clothing, Food, and Housing Life.

문화예술교육과 경험을 중심으로 한 중학교 의생활교육 프로그램 개발 적용 (Development and Application of Clothing Life Education Program in Middle Schools based on the Education and Experience in Arts & Culture)

  • The purpose of this study is to seek improvement in clothing life education through a development and application of the clothing life education program for middle schools based on the education and experience in arts & culture. On the basis of art & culture education as well as, Dewey's experience, the clothing life area education program was designed and developed for the 2nd year students in the middle school. This program was applied to 350 students of 9 2nd year classes in M middle school during the 17 periods of clothing life area classes, beginning from May 23rd, 2011 and lasting to September 30th, 2011. The leaner-evaluation was performed in terms of the level of learning interest and academic achievement. To measure the level of academic achievement, a mind-map evaluation was performed and a learning effect survey, which evaluates the level of achievement of learning objectives, was carried out. For the purpose of class observation, classes were filmed and analyzed. Characteristics of a class were recorded on a teacher's diary and was used to support the qualitative evaluation. According to the results, the education program is analyzed as being helpful and useful in student understanding of fiber, textile and, clothes, which are materials and outcomes of culture and art; moreover, they have a historical, cultural and artistic value in themselves. It is also analyzed as being helpful for the development of student aesthetic sensibility and emotion, for the construction of meaningful experience through a learning process, for the improvement of learning interest and the level of academic achievement, and for the positive recognition of the learning effect.

특성화고등학교 간호과 교사의 역량 분석 (Analysis of Competency of Nursing Teacher in Specialized Vocational High School)

  • 이 연구는 특성화고 간호과 교사의 역량을 도출하는 데 목적이 있다. 특성화고 간호과 교사에게 요구되는 지식과 기술, 태도를 도출하여 역량군과 하위역량을 검증하고, 우선순위를 제시하였다. 이를 위해 현재 특성화고 간호과에 근무하고 있는 교사 23명을 전문가 패널로 선정하여 델파이와 계층화분석(AHP) 기법을 적용한 연구를 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 특성화고 간호과 교사의 역량군과 하위역량은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특성화고 간호과 교사의 역량군은 교수 학습 지도, 학생지도, 교육과정 개발 및 운영, 학교 경영 지원, 산학 및 대외협력, 자기계발 및 전문성 향상으로 총 6개로 나타났다. 둘째, 하위역량은 담당교과 관련 전공 지식 및 기술, 수업계획 및 준비, 수업 운영, 실험 실습 지도, 수업평가, 교수 학습매체 개발 및 활용, 수업환경 조성, 교과 외 학생 교육활동 지도, 진로 지도, 생활 지도, 학급 경영, 기술 및 자격취득 지도, 학교 교육과정 개발 지원, 학교 교육과정 편성 운영, 현장실습 계획 및 운영, 업무기획, 학교경영업무 지원, 교사 평가 및 인사관리 지원, 학습지원(실습실 및 기자재) 관리, 산학협력 구축 및 운영, 지역사회 협력 강화, 학교(학과) 홍보, 교육활동 개선을 위한 현장연구, 학회 및 연수 참여, 최신 지식과 기술의 탐구와 정보활용, 동료 교사 장학으로 총 26개로 도출되었다. 상대적 중요도에서 가장 중요하다고 인식되는 역량군은 교육과정 개발 및 운영이었으며, 역량군별로 우선순위가 높게 나온 하위역량은 실험 실습 지도, 기술 및 자격취득 지도, 현장실습 계획 및 운영, 학습지원(실습실 및 기자재), 관리와 업무 기획, 산학협력 구축 및 운영, 최신 지식과 기술의 탐구와 정보 활용이었다. 이 연구에서 도출된 역량 체계는 향후 특성화고 간호과 교사의 양성교육 및 연수 그리고 교원 평가에 적용하고, 관련된 연구의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

TIMSS 2019와 국가수준 학업성취도 평가에 나타난 과학성취도와 교사의 학습 지원, 과학에 대한 태도, 학교 생활의 구조적 관계 비교 분석 (Analysis of Structural Relationship between Science Academic Achievement, Learning Support from Teachers, Students' Attitude toward Science, and School Life from TIMSS 2019, and National Assessment of Educational Achievement)

  • 각 나라의 대표적 표본을 추출하여 시행되는 국제비교연구의 결과를 한 국가의 교육 시스템 안에 적용하고자 할 때에 여러 요인들로 인해 적절하지 않을 수 있다는 생각에서 시작한 본 연구는, 학업성취를 설명하는 구조방정식 모형을 국제연구자료와 국내 자료에 각각 적용하여 비교함으로 국제연구자료를 통해 얻은 결과를 국내에 바로 적용할 수 있는지 확인해보고자 하는 목적을 가지고 진행되었다. 구체적으로 학생의 과학에 대한 태도, 교사의 학습 지원, 학교생활 변인이 학업성취도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 본 연구에 사용된 데이터는 TIMSS 2019 한국 7학년 학생 5,554명의 데이터와 NAEA 2019 중학교 3학년 학생 6,365명의 데이터를 대상으로 하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 학교생활은 두 데이터 모두에서 과학성취도에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았으며, NAEA 2019에서는 과학에 대한 태도를 완전 매개하여 과학 성취도에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 교사의 학습 지원은 TIMSS에서 과학 성취에 유의한 영향을 나타내었고, 과학에 대한 태도를 매개한 경우에도 유의한 영향을 나타냈다. 반면 NAEA에서는 과학에 대한 태도를 완전 매개한 경우에만 과학 성취에 유의한 영향을 나타내었다. 셋째, 과학 태도는 두 데이터 모두에서 과학 성취에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 두 연구에서 성별은 학교생활, 학업성취도, 과학에 대한 태도, 교사의 학습 지원에 영향을 미치는 양상이 다르게 나타났으며, 다섯째, 책 보유량 또한 양상이 다르게 나타났다. 본 연구는 학생의 과학에 대한 태도, 교사의 학습 지원, 학교생활과 학업성취도의 구조적 관계를 규명하였으며, 국내연구와 국제연구를 비교한 결과 차이가 나타났는데, 이와 같은 결과는 국제연구의 결과를 통해 국내 현장을 해석하고자 할 때 유의해야 할 필요성이 있다는 것을 보여준다.

개인.가족.학교관련 변인이 중학생의 진로태도성숙에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of the Individual, Family and School Related Variables on the Maturity of Career Attitudes in Middle School Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the variables that had an effect on the maturity of career attitude in middle school students. Independent variables were categorized into three groups: individual-related variables, family-related variables, and school-related variables. The individual-related variables were gender difference, academic year, academic achievement, and self-efficacy. The family-related variables were socio-economic status of the family, communication about career with parents, parental support, sibling's support, and value orientation of the family. The school-related variables included communication about career with friends, teacher's support, and friend's support. The subjects of this study were 490 students who were selected at random from first, second, and third grade of middle school in Daegu. A questionnaire was used for the survey. It consisted of a career attitude maturity scale, a self-efficacy scale, a communication scale, a value orientation of the family scale, and a social support scale. The data was analyzed by factor analysis, multiple regression analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. The major findings of this study are summarized as follow: First, among the individual-related variables that had an effect on the maturity of career attitude in middle school students, self-efficacy affected all sub-factors of how mature they were in matters relating to career. Academic achievement affected decisiveness and preparation-- maturity of career attitude subfactors. And gender difference and academic year affected preparation and goal orientation. Second, the results of the family-related variables that had an effect on the maturity of career attitudes in middle school students were that communication about career with parents affected decisiveness, preparation, and confidence-- maturity of career attitude sub-factors, socio-economic status of the family and sibling's support affected confidence. And value orientation of the family affected goal orientation and independence. Third, the results of the school-related variables that had an effect on the maturity of career attitude in middle school students were that communication about career with friends affected preparation-- a maturity of career attitude sub-factor; teacher's support affected decisiveness, preparation, and confidence; and friend's support affected confidence and independence. Fourth, decisiveness, preparation, and confidence among the maturity of career attitude sub-factors were affected the most by individual variables. And self-efficacy was the most significant. Goal orientation and independence were affected the most by family-related variables.

교사.학생간의 상호작용을 고려한 개방형상벌점관리시스템 (Open Merit and Demerit Management System for School Considering Interactions between Teacher and Student)

  • 체벌을 포함하여 교내에서 이루어지고 있는 교사의 주관적 기준에 따른 생활 지도 방식은 여러 가지 문제점을 내포하고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하고자 상점과 벌점을 이용하여 생활지도에 적용하는 상벌점 제도가 일선 학교에서 도입 시행되고 있다. 하지만 이 제도는 대부분 오프라인으로 시행되고 있어 점수 확인의 불편과 통계처리 및 장부작성, 관리 등에 있어 시행의 어려운 점이 지적되고 있다. 개방형상벌점관리시스템(Merit and Demerit Management System 이하 MDMS)은 상벌점 카드 발급에서 처리, 통계, 조회, 권한 등을 지원하고, 이를 통해 생활지도와 인성교육, 학부모의 생활지도 참여로 교사, 학생, 학부모 모두가 동참하는 바람직한 생활지도가 가능하도록 구현된 시스템이다. MDMS를 사용함으로 학생들의 생활규정 지도에 따른 거부감 감소, 본인의 학교생활실태 확인 가능, 학부모의 자녀 학교생활 내용 확인, 상벌점 자료 관리 효율화 및 통계 처리 시 교사의 업무 경감 등이 가능하게 된다. MDMS를 통해 체벌은 학교선도규정에 의해 실시하며 신체 일부를 이용한 직접 체벌을 지양하고 보다 체계적이며 과학적, 인간적인 생활지도를 실시할 수 있게 된다.

좋은 환경 수업의 관점에서 본 고등학교 환경 수업 학습 상황 분석 (Analysis of Educational Situation in Environment Class at High School with View of Good Environment Class)

  • The purpose of this study is to find the meaning of the good class, and based on this, situation of environmental education in high school is researched. Through those above processes, desirable direction of the environment class is suggested. For this study, we are trying to reflect the characteristics of environmental education on the general good classes, and from this, the meaning of good environment class is known. Moreover, for this study, we choose environment classes from four high schools leading by environment major teacher. From those four classes, we analyzed these things: educational situation of environment class, teachers' interviews. All of these are for analyzing environment class with the view of good environmental class. A well-formed environment class manifests the features of environment education in all aspects of teaching and learning process, including learning objectives, learning materials, procedures, and evaluations. Furthermore, it should be 'student-centered' class in which active interaction among the learners or between the instructor and the students is considered most important. Students are not the passive receiver, but rather, they actively participate in the learning process by reorganizing the knowledge as they experience and become independent learners who are actively involved in the problem-solving process. In this way, we can generate a great deal of students' interest and motivation, which in turn makes the class interesting, enjoyable, full of energy and still effective. If there is the class reflecting the factors of environmental education above good class' ways, it will be the good environment class. In the current situation of environment class, the rate of student's class participation and study activity was low. This tendency is not too different between four groups except students' support to teachers. This result means that learners' will to participate in their classes actively is not high. Moreover, about 46.3% of students did not understand some parts of new knowledge and about the parts, students' solution was 'does nothing' and the rate was also so high. Teachers tried to make their class with considering students' interest, and focusing their learner's real life. However, learners are all general education high school students, so teachers have aversion about making their students heavy activities.
