The purpose of this study is to examine the importance and satisfaction of users in the use and selection of a dance academy and contribute to methods for the activation of a dance academy based on basic information. A questionnaire survey was conducted with 213 users attending 12 dance academies in G Metropolitan City using the IPA statistical method. The following conclusions were drawn. The highest importance of a dance academy in IPA analysis was a professional teacher, followed by clean dance equipment, transit accessibility, dance academy fee, and a kind teacher. The highest satisfaction was a professional teacher, followed by various dance programs, teacher's choreography ability, a kind teacher, and transit accessibility. Based on the findings, dance academy users felt that the professionalism and kindness of teachers who directly teach them, academy fee, and equipment cleanliness associated with the age of COVID-19 were important. High satisfaction factors were teacher-related factors and transit accessibility. Therefore, it is considered that a professional and kind teacher and clean and hygienic environment will contribute to the activation of a dance academy.

As the development of the information society, our lives enriched and became more convenient. However it leads to the dysfunction. These dysfunctions appear especially to teenagers. Information Ethics education should be strengthened in order to solve these problems. However experts in the subject of Information Ethics are lacking. The goal of this study is to find some factors of professionalism of teachers responsible for Information Ethics education and to develop an assessment tool. In this study, we find some factors of professionalism of Information Ethics teachers, make some preliminary questions and select some of them by discussing with experts. Through a preliminary and main inspection we analyze the reliability and validity of the questions and develop the final questions. To practically use the assessment tool, we consisted the standards table. This assessment tool can be used for evaluation an Information Ethics teacher's ability, used as the basic materials for improving it and suggested making some systematic curriculums for teacher's training.

The purpose of this study was to examine how participation in R-Learning university club management program affects to R-Learning professionalism of pre-teachers in field of early childhood education related to knowledge, function, and attitude. Upon investigation for knowledge part, those answers: 'I know the role of teachers when education based on robot, 'I know how much education based on robot affects to development of early childhood', and 'I know the necessary of education based on robot' appear highly. 'I can give lessons by connecting robot and computer' for function part, and 'I think using robot for class positively' for attitude part show highly. Also, professionalism of the pre-teachers improved after participating in R-running club, especially, function and attitude part. Thus, R-Learning university club management program is effective by the research.

This study aims at re-considering an exemplary teacher in Confucian scholar tradition at the present time of education where teacher's authority gathers dust, the relationship between a teacher and a student is getting hard-hearted and the discussion on the role of a teacher and expertise does not reach an agreement. For this, the article discussed it by dividing an exemplary teacher into a conception of authority, benevolence and example. In view from a Confucian scholar's standpoint, this article found that teacher's authority is rational authority, and it is a product of social institution and social role of a teacher. Moreover, more important finding was that reconciliation is highlighted rather than authority. In a Confucian scholar, it is focused on love and benevolence between a teacher and a student by having humanity as the foundation and courtesy as ways and means. Also a Confucian scholar has demanded a good moral character and professional qualifications of a teacher. This study concludes that teacher's authority is made by teacher's professionalism, social roles and spirit of benevolence; also it has been making a conception of a teacher in Confucian scholar tradition. This study suggests that it needs to re-think about the values and meaning of Asian tradition in our educational settings in which western culture and values is influencing Asian societies too much.

Addition problems can be divided into the 'problem of quantity' which does not have the concept of object or unit, and the 'problem of number' which have the concept of object or unit. 'Additive property' is the factor which has to be considered in the former case. On the other hand, 'additive property' is not considered and meaningless in the latter case. However, this additive property is not emphasized in the elementary curriculum that mostly deals with quantitative problems, so related errors are occurred in actual life. In this study, we will investigate to the pre-service elementary teachers through the problems of deciding the additive property. The result shows that the pre-service elementary teachers' cognition of additive problems is insufficient. This study will provide focal points in the teacher education and the elementary education, and the clues for the operating programs through the information about the tendency of errors.

With the recent advancement of technology, there has been an increase in professional development activities, including teachers using blogs to share practical knowledge and reflect on teaching and learning. This study was conducted to identify the contents of practical knowledge shared through the K-12 teachers' blogs. To achieve the research objective, 70,571 blog posts were collected from 329 blogs of K-12 teachers in Korean and analyzed using text mining techniques. The results of the study are as follows. First, practical knowledge sharing activities using teacher blogs have increased. Teachers posted a lot of blogs during the semester. Second, primary school teachers share various curriculum activities, reflections on project classes, class management, opinions related to education, and personal. Third, secondary school teachers share summaries and reviews of curriculum, materials related to college entrance exams, various instructional materials, opinions related to education, and personal experiences on their blogs. This study suggested that blogs are widely used as a venue for sharing practical knowledge of teachers, and that blogs can be a useful way to develop professionalism.

The purpose of this study is to develop a teacher-training program to improve the Technology Home Economics teacher's educational activity effects. To accomplish this goal, this study developed a training program for the Technology Home Economics teacher through the literature study and the research. The conclusion drawn from this study is as follows: First, it needs to develop a systematic teacher training program to raise the professionalism related to the Technology Home Economics teacher's instruction. Second, the developed program for the Technology Home Economics teacher organizes the 46 subjects and 121 educational contents, and this educational program is worthwhile to be facilitated when a teacher-training institution like the Ministry of Eduction, Science and Technology, local education offices and universities organizes a teacher-training program. Third, as the result analyzing teachers' training demands about the educational contents of a Technology Home Economics teacher-training program, it was appeared that the most demand was 'development of professional activities for the Technology Home Economics teacher', and following demands were the 'production of various evaluation tools', the 'effectively epilogue strategy', and the 'technology to increase the learning motivation' in order. Therefore a training program for the Technology Home Economics teacher should deal these educational contents importantly, and a future teacher-training program developer need to refer to them.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the current status of pre-service curriculums for child care teachers at universities and colleges in Korea. To accomplish this, a survey was implemented to gather the lists of courses from each department training pre-service child care teachers. A total of 225 departments at universities and colleges across Korea participated in the survey. The results showed that the 37 different courses offered for child-care teacher licensure were different by school type (university or college) and major. Departments in colleges with specific majors such as early childhood education and social welfare offer courses that are also required for other certificates, including kindergarten teachers or social workers, so pre-service child care teachers may not have the opportunity to take courses specifically designed for their specific teaching needs or interests. Accordingly, there may be a restricted number of courses from which to choose during pre-service training periods. Based on the findings from this study, several political implications for improving child-care teacher professionalism were suggested.

In order to develop the marketing strategy of Korean floral arrangement courses for chinese tourists, this study aimed at gaining their participation motivation with application of the ZMET (Zaltman metaphor-elicitation technique). According to the results, 18 constructs ('a sense of accomplishment', 'Korean culture visit', 'teacher's high-quality service', 'professionalism', 'to be together', 'communication with others', 'joint pleasure', 'better than China', 'not available in China', 'healing', 'the feeling of happiness and love', 'easy access to art', 'wonderful life shot', 'beautiful interior', 'special design', 'expectation', 'close to nature', and 'nice daily-life decoration') were derived and 4 main constructs ('a sense of accomplishment', 'Korean culture visit', 'teacher's high-quality service', and 'professionalism') of the consensus map were analyzed. Therefore, the Korean floral arrangement courses for chinese tourists should open an adjustable level of difficulty of curriculum, offer an opportunity to experience other Korean culture and increase florist's abilities from various aspects.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how the activity in the elementary school science teachers' study group help teachers improve their professionalism and what the motivation was for the continuous participation by analyzing the operation system of study group and the teachers' perception. For this study, the N Elementary Science Teachers' Study Group in Gyeong-gi province was chosen, which has been maintained for a long time. Data such as observation journals, contents of activities, and some documents from this study group were collected through the participant observation methodology, and the perceptions about the participating motivation, the personal satisfaction and the impact on the professionalism were investigated by interviewing 5 teachers who participating in this study group. The results of this study were as follows: First, voluntary participation activated the teachers' study group, so teachers who belong to the study group, had a great satisfaction in the activities of the study group. Second, the more teachers participated in study group, they thought their professionalism has been improved. Based on the result of this study, implications to improve the professionalism of teachers were suggested.
