This study explored what Korean college students, especially preservice teacher in early childhood education, experienced and how they constructed the meanings of experiences about their subject- matter course (early childhood mathematics education) taught in English. One cohort- 20 senior students- majoring in early childhood education in a 4-year university was participated in this study. Using action research method and narrative research method, data were analyzed. The findings were as follows: 1) preservice teacher experienced some difficulties to construrct professional knowledge through English. 2) They challenged to overcome these difficulties through active participation. 3) They got supports from instructor and peer group. 4) They accomplished the course with self-satisfaction. 5) They experienced the conflicts between social requirements and personal needs.

This research was developed to investigate the apprehension of the ideal image of science teacher and the view of science teaching profession. The samples were drawn from middle/high schools students, university students of colleges of education, science teachers of secondary schools. principals of middle schools and masters of high schools, and professors majoring in science and/or science education. Data were collected through the use of questionaires. The samples responded differently to the Questions depending on their personal needs and professional viewpoints. Very few of the students wanted to be a science teacher in the future. Even the many numbers of college students gave up becoming a science teacher. Furthermore greater portion of science teachers were not satisfied with their profession as science teaching. More findings are described in the paper.

Influence of parenting, peer relationship, and teacher's support on the development of children's self-concept was assessed in Korean and Korean-Chinese elementary school students. Subjects were 280 Korean children in Korea and 210 Korean-Chinese children in Shenyang, China. The Self-Perception Profile for Adolescents(Harter, 1988), Parenting Practice(Cho et al., 2001), and 4 items from Social Support(Koo, 2000) were used to measure self-concept, parenting, and peer relationships, respectively. Data were analyzed by Pearson's correlation, factor analysis, and multiple regression. Results revealed differential influences between the two cultures : Korean children's self-concepts were significantly influenced by his/her peer relationships and teacher's support while Korean-Chinese children's self-concepts were influenced by teacher's support and parenting.

This study identified and examined earth science education department programs in Korea. Major courses provided by 11 universities and their course requirements were analyzed, and the main research results are as follows. First, many basic courses, other major requisite, and elective courses are provided in geology, astronomy, and atmospheric science. oceanography, geophysics, earth environmental science, and natural disaster and energy resources had fewer major requisite courses provided in addition to basic courses, and few elective courses were offered. Second, many courses in science education focused on earth science, while others focused on general science and there were few courses that covered education theory regarding the specific subject. Third, science course application requirements emphasized the understanding of science in general or of earth science specifically. From the above results, additional studies are proposed to reflect on the current state and supplement these programs.

Mathematics educators have emphasized the importance of language use in mathematics education. However, previous studies have predominantly focused on the spoken language used in mathematics classrooms, which provides limited information on the written language used by mathematics teachers. The written language reflects the characteristics of the teacher community and social, cultural, and political contexts. Moreover, the written language affects teachers' instructional practices and their students' mathematics learning experiences. Therefore, this study aims to review a study conducted by Lee and Kim (2022) investigating changes in mathematics teachers' pedagogical lexicons.

This study aims to analyze the perceptions and educational needs of pre-service teachers for the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education. To this end, we collected survey data from 25 undergraduate students who were enrolled in a teacher education college in Seoul. The purpose of the survey was to measure the importance and current performance for instructional AI use based on the technological, pedagogical, and content knowledge (TPACK) framework, and to explore the priority of educational needs using Borich's needs analysis and the Locus for Focus model. The results of the study confirmed that Ethics and TPK competencies are prioritized. Additionally, the results indicated a high demand for practical knowledge that can be implemented in the practice of education. Based on the results, it is necessary to develop a teacher education program that focuses on ethical aspects and teaching strategy competencies in AI-based education.

Objective : Two famous medical doctors, Yoo Itae(以泰, 爾泰) and Riu Euitae(義泰), have been well known in academic world and public in Sancheong-gun. Yoo Itae is the progenitor of Majinhak which is the therapy for measles, he wrote a "Majinpyun" as the first book of therapy for measles in Chosun. Riu Euitae, meanwhile, is a fictional medical doctor and a teacher of Heo Jun who became real without confirmation of historical truths by Roh Jeongwoo who heard about a name, Yoo Itae. Roh's assertion was quoted in the report of literatures, papers, novel, and telecast without verification. His assertion is exposed in novel and media and it has seriously distorted the history. The purpose of this study is to rectify the historical distortion. Methods : Various references study was performed. Confirmed a family tree, birth and death year, birthplace, sepulture, words on a tombstone, writing, collections of works anthology and the existence of keepsake. Investigated records of royal family, Sancheong-gun papers, Sancheong Hyanggyo papers, Dongyuhagan, Chosun Hanryuseungram and the record of Sawoo Munjip(anthology). Analyzed Roh Jungwoo's conversation that tells Riu Euitae is a teacher of Heo Jun and contents of an encyclopedia. Listened to testimony of descendants and assertions of historian in rural area. Verified voice recording on books taken from at birthplace and the space of activity. Results : Yoo Itae is well shown in various records and medical writing books, whereas Riu Euitae does not. Riu Euitae is not a real person in the history. Roh Jeongwoo who asserts Riu Euitae is a teacher of Heo Jun admits his mistake. But, the encyclopedia record describing Riu Euitae is a teacher of Heo Jun, government official at Sancheong district office, historians in rural area, historians in rural area who made a family shrine, gravestone, a statue, memorial, historic site of Riu Euitae on Jinju Rui could not suggest any evidences for the existence of Riu Euitae and for record Riu Euitae is a teacher of Heo Jun. Conclusion : Riu Euitae is neither a real person in the history nor a teacher of Heo Jun. Riu Euitae came from pronunciation confusion between 'I' and 'Eui' in Kyungsang province. Riu Euitae is Yoo Itae on Geochang Yoo who was a medical doctor of King, Sukjeong and wrote medical books including , , .

용리액으로 염산과 숙신산 및 그들의 혼합액을 사용하고, 강산성 양이온 교환수지, Dowex 50W-x8, 100∼200 mesh 를 사용하여 금속, Mg(Ⅱ), Ca(Ⅱ), Sr(Ⅱ), Ba(Ⅱ), Cr(Ⅲ), Mn(Ⅱ), Fe(Ⅲ), Co(Ⅱ), Ni(Ⅱ), Cu(Ⅱ), Cd(Ⅱ), Hg(Ⅱ) 및 Pb(Ⅱ)의 이온들에 대한 분포계수를 측정하였다. 분리도와 양이온의 전하와의 관계를 고찰하였고, 이온반지름에 따른 분포계수를 비교하였다. 특히 0.9M 염산용액에서 Fe(Ⅲ), Co(Ⅱ), Ni(Ⅱ)의 완전분리가 가능하였다.

${\circo}-페닐렌디아민(3)을 출발물질로 하여 4단계를 거쳐 {\alpha}-arylhydrazonoacylazide(7)를 합성하였다. 얻어진 {\alpha}-arylhydrazonoacylazide(7)는 디메틸슬폭시드 용액에서 hydrazone imine형과 diazenyl enamine형으로 존재하는데 이들 사이의 토오토메리 현상을 ^1H-NMR 스펙트럼 데이타에 의하여 측정된 토오토머 비로서 고찰하였다. {\alpha}-arylhydrazonoacylazide(7)를 벤젠용매에서 환류시켜 1-aryl-3-quinoxalinyl-1,2,4-triazol(8)을 합성하였다.$

초등정보과학 영재교육의 활성화를 위해서는 뛰어난 영재의 선발, 적합한 교육과정 개발 등 다양한 노력이 필요하겠지만 "교육의 질은 교사의 질을 넘지 못한다."는 말이 있듯이 초등정보과학 영재교육의 실제를 담당하는 영재교사의 뛰어난 직무수행능력 역시 초등정보과학 영재교육을 성공으로 이끌기 위해서는 반드시 필요하다. 이런 교사 변인의 중요성을 생각해 볼 때 초등정보과학 영재교육을 담당하는 교사에게 요구되는 전문성이 무엇인지에 대한 규명이 필요하고 더불어 이러한 전문성을 함양시킬 수 있는 방안에 대한 연구도 반드시 필요하다.
