For last decade, the amount of information has been increased rapidly because of the internet and computing technology development, mobile devices and sensors, and social networks like facebook or twitter. People who want to gain important knowledge from database have been frustrated with large database. Many studies for automatic knowledge extracting meaningful knowledge from large database have been fulfilled. In that sense, automatic knowledge extracting with computing technology has been highly significant in information technology field, but still has many challenges to go further. In order to improve the effectives and efficiency of knowledge extracting system, test collection is strongly necessary. In this research, we introduce a test collection for automatic knwoledge extracting. We name the test collection KEEC/KREC(KISTI Entity Extraction Collection/KISTI Relation Extraction Collection) and present the process and guideline for building as well as the features of. The main feature is to tag by experts to guarantee the quality of collection. The experts read documents and tag entities and relation between entities with a tool for tagging. KEEC/KREC is being used for a research to evaluate system performance and will continue to contribute to next researches.
RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is a next generation technology that will replace barcode. RFID can identify an object by reading ID inside a RFID tag using radio frequency. However, because a RFID tag replies its unique ID to the request of any reader through wireless communication, it is vulnerable to attacks on security or privacy through wiretapping or an illegal reader's request. The RFID authentication protocol has been studied actively in order to solve security and privacy problems, and is used also in tag search. Recently, as the number of tags is increasing in RFTD systems and the cost of data collection is also rising, the importance of effective tag search is increasing. This study proposed an efficient search method that solved through ta9 group the problem of large volume of database computation in Miyako Ohkubo's hash chain mechanism, which meets requirements for security and privacy protection. When we searched first the group of tags with access rate of 5 or higher in a database with 100,000 records, search time decreased by around 30%.

Individual passenger transfer information is not included in Seoul metropolitan subway Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) data. Currently, basic data such as travel time and distance are allocated based on the TagIn terminal ID data records of AFC data. As such, knowledge of the actual path taken by passengers is constrained by the fact that transfers are not applied, resulting in overestimation of the transport index. This research proposes a method by which a transit path that connects the TagIn and TagOut terminal IDs in AFC data is determined and applied to the transit index. The method embodies the concept that a passenger's line of travel also accounts for transfers, and can be applied to the transit index. The path selection model for the passenger calculates the line of transit based on travel time minimization, with in-vehicle time, transfer walking time, and vehicle intervals all incorporated into the travel time. Since the proposed method can take into account estimated passenger movement trajectories, transport-related data of each subway organization included in the trajectories can be accurately explained. The research results in a calculation of 1.47 times the values recorded, and this can be evaluated directly in its ability to better represent the transportation policy index.

ERP is an integrated information system to manage all human and material resources in offices. Therefore, the business competitiveness is reinforced. The best requirement of ERP is the real time data collection and analysis in ubiquitous environment. Passive information collection is a problem in existing ERP system. To solve that problem, active system is proposed using RFID Tag and Reader. From the simulation results, we confirm that resource information is acquired and event message is occurred after fixed time. In this paper, the real time management system of industry resource with RFID collects resource information actively instead of passive information collection and supports the event according to the schedule.
In this study, travel time data collection of mine equipments was conducted in an underground mine using a reverse Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) system. In the reverse RFID system, RFID readers and antennas are mounted on mine equipments, and RFID tags are attached to the underground mine gallery. Indoor experiments were performed to analyze how RFID reader transmission power levels affect tag readable area and tag recognition rates. The results showed that travel time measurement become precise when the reader transmission power was reduced, however tag recognition rates were reduced. The field experiments indicated that setting the reader transmission power to 28 dBm maintained the tag recognition rate while minimizing the tracking location error. In addition, the results revealed that the reverse RFID system can be used successfully in an underground mine to collect the travel time data of haulage trucks.

RFID ( Radio Frequency IDentification ) is an automatic realization technology that recognizes things or a person with data stored tag, card, label, etc that have microchip by using radio frequency. Automation and efficient data base management(DBM) of system are possible by replaces using Bar-code that is used widely with using RFID. In this paper, we designed RFID tag data format that used to recognize information of books in Library and implemented library management system. Library management system is divided checking collection of books, self-loaning books system, self-returning books system, management books information system for a librarian. RFID leader realized information of tag and transfer it to host computer through RS-232 interface. Host computer processes and operates information with middleware. System that we made is depending on executive system for a librarian.

For the 2.4 GHz active RFID to be successful in the market, one of the requirements is the increased battery life. However, currently we do not have any accurate power consumption estimation method. In this study we develop a simulation model, which can be used to estimate power consumption of tag accurately. Six different simulation models are proposed depending on collision algorithm and query command method. To improve estimation accuracy, we classify tag operating modes as the wake-up receive, UHF receive, sleep timer, tag response, and sleep modes. Power consumption and operating time are identified according to the tag operating mode. Query command for simplifying collection and ack command procedure and newly developed collision control algorithm are used in the simulation. Other performance measures such as throughput, recognition time for multi-tags, tag recognition rate including power consumption are compared with those from the current standard ISO/IEC 18000-7.
In recent years, the smart card is wifely applied for wireless communication, tracking, transportation logistics, diagnostic monitoring, access control and security. RF-ID system is universally applicable. Passive RF-ID system consists from reader and passive tag. The reader transmits energy and simple information to a tag by wireless and the power from the reader is transformed for controller, FRAM and Bluetooth module. in this paper, an analysis and design of smart card for the transmission of the car movement data is presented.
As RFID tag prices have rapidly been declining because of the advance of RFID technology, each tag is attached to an individual item, not a packing box only, for managing the item much more precisely. However, some mechanisms are essential to handle a very large amount of tag data quickly because readers and middlewares processing RFID data have limited hardware resources. In this paper, we design and implement a new mobile agent-based distributed software tools to satisfy this requirement efficiently. These tools provide a convenient environment enabling required data to be pre-processed repeatedly in transit by transferring a mobile agent including its specified data collection policy to numerous mobile readers. This behavior can significantly reduce the elapsed time required for processing huge volumes of tag data at the readers and middlewares with their very high recognition rates compared with the existing one to process the data by fixed readers after having arrived at the destination
Recently, the pop-up satellite archival tag (PSAT) is being used in studies as a method of using satellites for monitoring organisms. Because PSATs are attached directly on the organism being monitored, it is used mostly on larger species since the health of the organism is an important concern. For this reason, PSAT-based surveys are lacking in Korea with no studies on the physiological responses of organisms with PSAT attached. Accordingly, as a basic biomonitoring study using PSAT, the present study investigated the physiological changes in fish in response to the attachment of PSAT. The present study used red seabream (Pagrus major) and Korean rockfish (Sebastes schlegelii) as the experimental fish. The PSAT was attached to the muscle below the experimental fish's dorsal fin using a mono filament (n = 3). To investigate the changes in physiological responses according to PSAT attachment, blood samples were collected from all experimental fish, including the control (n = 3), at 1, 7, 14 and 21 days after the attachment. Upon blood sample collection, whole blood was used to measure hematocrit and hemoglobin levels. After separating the plasma, the separated plasma was used to measure the GOT, GPT, glucose, total protein, and cholesterol levels. Meanwhile, the plasma cortisol, superoxide dismutase, and catalase levels were measured using the ELISA method. The results showed that attaching the tag did not have any impact on the immunity and stress response of the experimental fish. The findings in this study also demonstrated the possibility of using PSAT for studying relatively smaller species living in the coastal waters of Korea.
