In this paper, we define an extension $f^*:[a,\;b]{\rightarrow}\mathbb{R}$ of a function $f:[a,\;b]_{\mathbb{T}}{\rightarrow}\mathbb{R}$ for a time scale $\mathbb{T}$ and show that f is McShane delta integrable on $[a,\;b]_{\mathbb{T}}$ if and only if $f^*$ is McShane integrable on [a, b].

In this paper, we define an extension $f^*:[a,b]{\rightarrow}\mathbb{R}$ of a function $f^*:[a,b]_{\mathbb{T}}{\rightarrow}\mathbb{R}$ for a time scale $\mathbb{T}$ and show that $f$ is Henstock delta integrable on $[a,b]_{\mathbb{T}}$ if and only if $f^*$ is Henstock integrable on $[a, b]$.

Saccharina japonica (SJ), a brown algae, exerts various pharmacological effects, including anti-oxidant, immunemodulating and anti-cancer properties. This study aimed to determine the pharmacological mechanism of SJ on atopic dermatitis in vivo and in vitro. We investigated the pharmacological effects of SJ on 2, 4-dinitrochlrobenzene (DNCB)- induced atopic dermatitis clinical symptoms in mice. Additionally, we evaluated the effects of SJ on the inflammatory cytokine production and nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) activation in HaCaT cells. The findings of this study demonstrated that SJ reduced the clinical symptoms of atopic dermatitis, such as skin dryness, erythema and eczematous, and serum histamine and IgE level in DNCB-induced atopic dermatitis model. Additionally, SJ inhibited the NF-κB activation in atopic dermatitis-like skin lesion and HaCaT cells. Collectively, this result suggests that SJ could be used as a therapeutic agent for skin inflammation, including atopic dermatitis.

본 연구에서는 Ttichoplusia ni 세포의 apoptosis 유도 및 억제 현상의 기초연구를 수행하였다. Apoptosis 유도제로 알려진 hygromycin B에 의한 세포 성장 저해는 $200\;{\mu}/ml$의 수준에서부터 나타났고, $400\;{\mu}/ml$ hygromycin B를 처리한 세포에서는 배양 후 2일부터 DNA가 분절되어지는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 그러나 dexamethasone과 sodium butyrate를 첨가시 세포성장은 저해되었지만 DNA 분절현상이 보이지 않아 apoptosi의 유발여부를 확인할 수 없었다. 그리고 caspase 기능억제제의 apoptosis 지연효과를 보기 위해 $200\;{\mu}/ml$ hygromycin B로 apoptosis를 유발한 상태에서 Ac-DEVD-CHO를 첨가하여 세포성장을 비교해 본 결과 이 저해제에 의해 약 36%정도 apoptosis가 억제되었음을 확인하였다. N-acetylcysteine의 경우도 apoptosis지연 효과가 있었다. Bcl_계에 속하는 anti-apoptotic 유전자의 발현연구로서 apoptosis 저해 단백질인 bcl-2 유전자를 곤충세포에 형질전환시킨 후 이 단백질이 한시적으로 발현되는 것을 western blot분석법으로 확인하였으며 apoptosis가 지연된 곤충세포주의 개발이 가능하다는 결론을 보였다.

본 연구에서 돼지 PBMC에 t10c12-CLA 처리는 TNF-${\alpha}$생산을 증가시켰으나, LPS 자극 PBMC에서는 TNF-${\alpha}$생산을 감소시켰다. t10c12-CLA 처리는 PBMC의 inhibitory ${\kappa}B$ ($I{\kappa}B$)-${\alpha}$ 단백질 분해를 증가시키고 NF-${\kappa}B$ p65 활성 수준을 증가시켰다. 그러나 LPS 자극 PBMC에서는 상반되는 효과가 관찰되었다. 특히, LPS 비자극 PBMC에서 t10c12-CLA는 NF-${\kappa}B$ 저해제인 caffeic acid phenethyl ester (CAPE)를 처리한 경우 NF-${\kappa}B$ p65 활성 수준을 증가시켰으나 반대로 LPS로 자극한 CAPE 처리 PBMC에서는 NF-${\kappa}B$ p65 활성 수준을 억제시켰다. 이상의 결과는 t10c12-CLA가 돼지 PBMC에 있어 LPS 자극 유무에 따라 다른 효과를 가질 수 있으며, 이는 NF-${\kappa}B$ p65 활성도의 변화와 관련성이 있음을 보여주고 있다.

With the object of developing a new magnetic core materials for high frequency use, the crystallization behaviors and the soft magnetic properties of amorphous $F_{86-x}Al_{4}B_{10}Zr_{x}\;(5{\leq}x{\leq}10\;at%)$ alloys subjected to annealing treatment at wide temperature range were investigated. For optimally annealed $Fe_{86-x}Al_{4}B_{10}Zr_{x}$ alloys in amorphous state, rather good soft magnetic properties of ${\mu}_{e}=17000~25000,\;H_{c}=20~30$ mOe and $B_{10}{\geq}0.6$ T are obtained. However, as the alloys crystallize, the soft magnetic properties are largely dergely deteriorated, which is attributed principally to the narrow temperature gap between $T_{x1}$ and $T_{x2}$, which allows the nearly co-precipitation of bcc phase and Fe-B compounds in incipient crystallization stage.

Arthrogryposis-renal dysfunction-cholestasis (ARC) syndrome is a rare autosomal recessive multisystemic disease that is associated with the liver, kidney, skin, and central nervous and musculoskeletal systems. ARC occurs as a result of mutations in the VPS33B (Vacuolar protein sorting 33 homolog B) or VIPAR (VPS33B interacting protein, apical-basolateral polarity regulator) genes. A female infant presented with neonatal cholestasis with a severe clinical outcome. She was diagnosed with ARC syndrome using targeted exome sequencing (TES). Exome sequencing revealed compound heterozygous mutations, c.707A>T and c.239+5G>A, in VPS33B, where c.707A>T was a novel variant; the resultant functional protein defects were predicted via in silico analysis. c.239+5G>A, a pathogenic mutation that affects splicing, is found in less than 0.1% of the general population. Invasive techniques, such as liver biopsies, did not contribute to a differential diagnosis of ARC syndrome; thus, early TES together with clinical presentations constituted an apparently accurate diagnostic procedure.

In this paper, we study the properties of T satisfying [CTC, T] = 0 for some conjugation C where [R, S] := RS - SR. In particular, we show that if T is normal, then [CTC, C] = 0. Moreover, the class of operators T satisfy [CTC, T] = 0 is norm closed. Finally, we prove that if T is complex symmetric, then T is binormal if and only if [C|T|C, |T|] = 0.
