  • 현재 국내 수소 관련 연구는 생산, 운반, 저장 등 공급과정의 기술과 발전, 수송 등 이용기술을 중심으로 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 현재 개발 중인 MCFC 발전설비에 대한 기술 및 비용 특성을 이용하여 LEAP모형시스템 기반의 ROK2003-H2 모형을 구축하고 정부의 '제2차 신재생에너지 기술개발 및 이용보급 기본계획$(2003\~2012)$'의 계획에 따른 수소에너지(연료전지) 보급의 에너지/환경부문 파급효과를 분석한다. 분석 대상이 되는 기술은 Molten Carbonate 연료전지를 이용한 2MW급 발전기술로, 2008년 70MW가 설치되기 시작하여 2011년까지 매년 100MW증설되어 2011년 전체 설비가 370MW에 이르는 것으로 시나리오를 구축한다. 설비의 에너지효율성은 연료전지 발전설비가 처음 도입된 2008년에는 $45\%$로 가정하고 2009년-2011년 간에 $5\%$씩 상승되어 2011년에는 $60\%$에 이를 것으로 전망한다. 분석결과에 의하면 2011년에 연료전지의 발전설비를 370MW로 확대하는 경우에 CO를 비롯한 대부분의 대기오염배출량이 감소하며, 온실가스 배출량 역시 35,433백만tC로 약 295백만tC가 감소한다.

  • 과거 단일 회사로 구성된 전력산업 체제하에서의 신뢰도에 대한 인식과 중요성들이 전력시장과 경쟁이 도입된 다각화된 이해 주체들 이 존재하는 현행의 국내 전력산업 구조에서는 서로 다른 양상을 띄고 변화하고 있다. 전원 및 송?변전 시설계획에서부터 계통운영 계획 및 실시간 급전에 이르기까지 연속선상의 계통운영 업무에 있어 전력공급의 안정성 확보와 더불어 보다 합리적이고 효율적인 또는 경제적인 계획과 운영에 대한 요구(Needs)가 기존의 결정론적인 신뢰도 평가의 다각적 접근 즉, 확률론적인 신뢰도평가 기법을 개발하게 하였으며, 이에 미국 전력중앙연구소(EPRI)의 PRA(Probabilistic Reliability Assessment) S/W를 도입하여 실제 계통운영의 단위업무와 접목하여 리스크를 고려한 계통안전도평가 구현의 잠재적 가능성과 극복해야 할 한계를 파악하였다.

Multi-objective Optimization Model for Tower Crane Layout Planning in Modular Construction (모듈러 건축의 타워크레인 배치계획 수립을 위한 다중 최적화 모델 개발)

  • With an increasing trend toward high-rise modular construction, the simultaneous use of tower cranes at a modular construction site has recently been observed. Tower crane layout planning (TCLP) has a significant effect on cost, duration, safety and productivity of a project. In a modular construction project, particularly, poor decision about the layout of tower cranes is likely to have negative effects like additional employment of cranes and redesign, which will lead to additional costs and possible delays. It is, therefore, crucial to conduct thorough inspection of field conditions, lifting materials, tower crane capacity to make decisions on the layout of tower cranes. However, several challenges exist in planning for a multi-crane construction site in terms of safety and collaboration, which makes planning with experience and intuition complicated. This paper suggests a multi-objective optimization model for selection of the number of tower cranes, their models and locations, which minimizes cost and conflict. The proposed model contributes to the body of knowledge by showing the feasibility of using multi-objective optimization for TCLP decision-making process with consideration of trade-offs between cost and conflict.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the process to support and evaluate experts' decision making on vertical transportation planning in high-rise building constructions. Experts generally carry out the vertical transportation planning by heuristic methods, so there is a possibility that their decisions failed. The failure of the vertical transportation planning can be result in much loss of time and cost. The process presented in this paper evaluates experts' alternatives, organizes the results of the vertical transportation plan, and then leads to the systematic flow of materials and crews.

Estimation of Forest Carbon Stock in South Korea Using Machine Learning with High-Resolution Remote Sensing Data (고해상도 원격탐사 자료와 기계학습을 이용한 한국 산림의 탄소 저장량 산정)

  • Accurate estimation of forest carbon stocks is important in establishing greenhouse gas reduction plans. In this study, we estimate the spatial distribution of forest carbon stocks using machine learning techniques based on high-resolution remote sensing data and detailed field survey data. The high-resolution remote sensing data used in this study are Landsat indices (EVI, NDVI, NDII) for monitoring vegetation vitality and Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) data for describing topography. We also used the forest growing stock data from the National Forest Inventory (NFI) for estimating forest biomass. Based on these data, we built a model based on machine learning methods and optimized for Korean forest types to calculate the forest carbon stocks per grid unit. With the newly developed estimation model, we created forest carbon stocks maps and estimated the forest carbon stocks in South Korea. As a result, forest carbon stock in South Korea was estimated to be 432,214,520 tC in 2020. Furthermore, we estimated the loss of forest carbon stocks due to the Donghae-Uljin forest fire in 2022 using the forest carbon stock map in this study. The surrounding forest destroyed around the fire area was estimated to be about 24,835 ha and the loss of forest carbon stocks was estimated to be 1,396,457 tC. Our model serves as a tool to estimate spatially distributed local forest carbon stocks and facilitates accounting of real-time changes in the carbon balance as well as managing the LULUCF part of greenhouse gas inventories.
