Mini-MAP에서의 MMS 구현에 관한 연구 (A study on the implementation of MMS in Mini-MAP)

  • MMS (Manufacturing Message Specification) is a communications standard of MAP (Manufacturing Automation Protocol), which is a Network Protocol for Industrial Automation. In the environment of Mini-MAP, MMS is situated in the application layer and on the LLC (Logical Link Control) layer. In this paper, MMS software is implemented on the basis of ISO DIS 9506. The implemented software was tested with Token Passing Bus Network Interface Unit, which was designed in our laboratory and performs the actions of layer 1 and 2.

다제내성 황색포도상구균이 가지고 있는 테트라사이클린 내성 플라스미드의 동정 (Characterization of Tetracycline Resistance Plesmid of Multidrug-resistant Staphylococcus aureus)

  • The clinical isolate Staphylococcus aureus SA2 had four kinds of plasmids and was resistant to ampicillin, chloramphenicol, clindamycin, erythromycin, gentamicin, kanamycin, methicillin, streptomycin, tetracycline and tobramycin. Transformation experiment demonstrated that 4.44 kb plasmid(pKH6) encoded resistance to tetracycline. The cleavage map of pKH6 was determined by restriction enzyme mapping techniques. The cleavage map is given for EcoRV, HindIII, HpaI, HpaII, KpnI and Xbal. Restriction endonucleases BamHl, BglI, BGIII, BstEII, EcoRI, HaellI, PstI, PvuII, SalI, Smal, and Xhol have no site on this plasmid. The restriction map revealed extensive structural homology between pKH6 and pT181.

  • Mitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinase는 여러 세포증식 촉진인자들에 의하여 자신이 인산화됨으로써 활성화되어 다른 protein kinase를 인산화시키는 역할을 하는 세포내 신호전달의 중요한 효소이다. 본 연구에서는 P388 murine leukemia 세포 파쇄액에서 SP sephadex C-50, phenyl superose, Mono Q column을 통하여 MAP kinase를 분리한 결과, 44 kD와 66kD의 isoform을 확인할 수 있었다. 면역 T 세포의 $p56^{kk}$의 N-terminal로부터 유전자 재조합 방법을 통하여 glutathion-s-transferase(GST) fusion protein을 얻은 후 분리한 MAP kinase의 기질로 사용하여 본 결과, wild type과 mutant간에 인산화 정도의 차이를 확인할 수 있어 MAP kinase의 또 다른 기질로 이용할 수 있는 가능성을 제시하였다.

A CLASS OF GRADE THREE DETERMINANTAL IDEALS

  • Let $k$ be a field containing the field $\mathbb{Q}$ of rational numbers and let $R=k[x_{ij}{\mid}1{\leq}i{\leq}m,\;1{\leq}j{\leq}n]$ be the polynomial ring over a field $k$ with indeterminates $x_{ij}$. Let $I_t(X)$ be the determinantal ideal generated by the $t$-minors of an $m{\times}n$ matrix $X=(x_{ij})$. Eagon and Hochster proved that $I_t(X)$ is a perfect ideal of grade $(m-t+1)(n-t+1)$. We give a structure theorem for a class of determinantal ideals of grade 3. This gives us a characterization that $I_t(X)$ has grade 3 if and only if $n=m+2$ and $I_t(X)$ has the minimal free resolution $\mathbb{F}$ such that the second dierential map of $\mathbb{F}$ is a matrix defined by complete matrices of grade $n+2$.

A Comparison Study of Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy Quality Assurances Using Portal Dosimetry and MapCHECK 2

  • A Varian Portal Dosimetry system was compared to an isocentrically mounted MapCHECK 2 diode array for volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) QA. A Varian TrueBeam STx with an aS-1000 digital imaging panel was used to acquire VMAT QA images for 13 plans using four photon energies (6, 8, 10 and 15 MV). The EPID-based QA images were compared to the Portal Dose Image Prediction calculated in the Varian Eclipse treatment planning system (TPS). An isocentrically mounted Sun Nuclear MapCHECK 2 diode array with 5 cm water-equivalent buildup was also used for the VMAT QAs and the measurements were compared to a composite dose plane from the Eclipse TPS. A ${\gamma}$ test was implemented in the Sun Nuclear Patient software with 10% threshold and absolute comparison at 1%/1 mm (dose difference/distance-to-agreement), 2%/2 mm, and 3%/3 mm criteria for both QA methods. The two-tailed paired Student's t-test was employed to analyze the statistical significance at 95% confidence level. The average ${\gamma}$ passing rates were greater than 95% at 3%/3 mm using both methods for all four energies. The differences in the average passing rates between the two methods were within 1.7% and 1.6% of each other when analyzed at 2%/2 mm and 3%/3 mm, respectively. The EPID passing rates were somewhat better than the MapCHECK 2 when analyzed at 1%/1 mm; the difference was lower for 8 MV and 10 MV. However, the differences were not statistically significant for all criteria and energies (p-values >0.05). The EPID-based QA showed large off-axis over-response and dependence of ${\gamma}$ passing rate on energy, while the MapCHECK 2 was susceptible to the MLC tongue-and-groove effect. The two fluence-based QA techniques can be an alternative tool of VMAT QA to each other, if the limitations of each QA method (mechanical sag, detector response, and detector alignment) are carefully considered.

기후변화에 따른 임상분포 변화 및 탄소저장량 예측 - 용인시 산림을 기반으로 - (Estimating the Change of Potential Forest Distribution and Carton Stock by Climate Changes - Focused on Forest in Yongin-City -)

  • 본 연구에서는 임상도와 HyTAG 모형을 적용하여 기후변화에 따른 경기도 용인시 임상의 잠재 생육적지 분포 변화와 산림 재적 및 탄소저장량 변화를 예측하였다. 이를 위해 제5차 임상도와 전국산림자원조사를 이용한 생장모델을 적용하여 현재의 용인시 산림재적을 예측하였다. HyTAG 모형을 적용하여 10년 단위로 미래 100년 후까지 잠재생육 적지 분포를 예측하고, 생장모델인 대수차 변형을 이용하여 산림 재적을 산출하였다. 용인시 산림을 제5차 임상도를 이용하여 분석한 결과, 현재 침엽수림 37.8%, 활엽수림 62.2%로 분포하고 있었다. HyTAG 모형을 적용한 30년 후 임상의 분포는 침엽수림 0.13%, 활엽수림 99.97%로 변화하였으며, 60년 후에 용인시 전체의 임상이 활엽수림으로 분포하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 현재 산림탄소량은 1,773,862 tC(56.79 tC/ha)로 측정되었으며 HyTAG 모형을 적용한 50년 후에 탄소저장량은 4,432,351 tC(141.90 tC/ha), 100년 후에는 6,884,063 tC(220.40 tC/ha)로 예측되었다. HyTAG 모형에 따른 수종별 변화를 분석해 본 결과, 잣나무, 낙엽송, 리기다소나무, 소나무는 각각 10년, 30년, 30년, 50년 이후에는 기후에 적합하지 않는 것으로 예측되었으며, 모두 참나무류가 적합한 것으로 예측되었다.

국내산 참다래 추출물의 신경독성 방어효과 (Neuroprotective Effects of Korean Kiwifruit against t-BHP-induced Cell Damage in PC12 Cells)

  • 산화적 스트레스로부터 참다래 과실 추출물의 신경세포 보호효과에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 신경세포주인 PC12 세포를 이용하여 참다래 과실추출물의 전처리가 산화적 손상으로부터 유발되는 신경세포사멸을 억제할 수 있는지 조사하였다. t-BHP에 의해 유도된 신경세포손상으로부터 세포사멸을 억제하여 세포생존도를 증가시켰으며 세포사멸로부터 형성되는 핵의 농축현상과 단편화가 현저히 감소함을 확인 할 수 있었다. 그리고 Bcl-2 단백의 발현 증가, Bax 단백의 발현 감소, caspase-3의 활성, PARP 분해 단백(85KDa)감소, ERK, p38 활성을 감소시켰다. 따라서 참다래 과실의 추출물은 신경세포증식효과를 통해 신경세포손상으로부터 유발되는 다양한 퇴행성 뇌질환의 예방에 도움이 될 것으로 나타났다.

자동차 Instrument Panel 의 운전자 인지지도 추출을 위한 Blind-Pointing Method 개발에 관한 연구 (A study for the development of Blind-Pointing Method to extract drivers' cognitive map on Instrument Panel)

  • In these days, the interior interface design for vehicle drivers was recognized as important affairs. Thereby, many studies are being performed for this. These studies emphasize the physical factors and usability of human, but those for the cognitive factors are not enough. Cognitive factors are very important elements to determine the drivers' performance. In this study, it was studied about the method to extract a driver's cognitive map on IP(Instrument Panel) in dynamic situation, and BPM(Blind-Pointing Method) was proposed for this. The BPM is the method to extract a cognitive map by subject's pointing action under the blinded condition. The experiment was conducted to validate compatibility of BPM as the method to extract a cognitive map. In the experiment, subjects were divided in two groups, the first group of subjects has their own vehicle and driver license, and the second group of subjects doesn't have own vehicle but has driver license. The result shows that the IP form of cognitive map is not different between two groups, and BPM is the compatible method to extract a cognitive map.

Automated Measurement of Native T1 and Extracellular Volume Fraction in Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging Using a Commercially Available Deep Learning Algorithm

  • Objective: T1 mapping provides valuable information regarding cardiomyopathies. Manual drawing is time consuming and prone to subjective errors. Therefore, this study aimed to test a DL algorithm for the automated measurement of native T1 and extracellular volume (ECV) fractions in cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging with a temporally separated dataset. Materials and Methods: CMR images obtained for 95 participants (mean age ± standard deviation, 54.5 ± 15.2 years), including 36 left ventricular hypertrophy (12 hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, 12 Fabry disease, and 12 amyloidosis), 32 dilated cardiomyopathy, and 27 healthy volunteers, were included. A commercial deep learning (DL) algorithm based on 2D U-net (Myomics-T1 software, version 1.0.0) was used for the automated analysis of T1 maps. Four radiologists, as study readers, performed manual analysis. The reference standard was the consensus result of the manual analysis by two additional expert readers. The segmentation performance of the DL algorithm and the correlation and agreement between the automated measurement and the reference standard were assessed. Interobserver agreement among the four radiologists was analyzed. Results: DL successfully segmented the myocardium in 99.3% of slices in the native T1 map and 89.8% of slices in the post-T1 map with Dice similarity coefficients of 0.86 ± 0.05 and 0.74 ± 0.17, respectively. Native T1 and ECV showed strong correlation and agreement between DL and the reference: for T1, r = 0.967 (95% confidence interval [CI], 0.951-0.978) and bias of 9.5 msec (95% limits of agreement [LOA], -23.6-42.6 msec); for ECV, r = 0.987 (95% CI, 0.980-0.991) and bias of 0.7% (95% LOA, -2.8%-4.2%) on per-subject basis. Agreements between DL and each of the four radiologists were excellent (intraclass correlation coefficient [ICC] of 0.98-0.99 for both native T1 and ECV), comparable to the pairwise agreement between the radiologists (ICC of 0.97-1.00 and 0.99-1.00 for native T1 and ECV, respectively). Conclusion: The DL algorithm allowed automated T1 and ECV measurements comparable to those of radiologists.
