환자안전 관리자가 인식한 투약오류예방 시스템 구축실태에 따른 투약오류관리풍토 및 활용인식 (Medication Error Management Climate and Perception for System Use according to Construction of Medication Error Prevention System)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this cross-sectional study was to examine current status of IT-based medication error prevention system construction and the relationships among system construction, medication error management climate and perception for system use. Methods: The participants were 124 patient safety chief managers working for 124 hospitals with over 300 beds in Korea. The characteristics of the participants, construction status and perception of systems (electric pharmacopoeia, electric drug dosage calculation system, computer-based patient safety reporting and bar-code system) and medication error management climate were measured in this study. The data were collected between June and August 2011. Descriptive statistics, partial Pearson correlation and MANCOVA were used for data analysis. Results: Electric pharmacopoeia were constructed in 67.7% of participating hospitals, computer-based patient safety reporting systems were constructed in 50.8%, electric drug dosage calculation systems were in use in 32.3%. Bar-code systems showed up the lowest construction rate at 16.1% of Korean hospitals. Higher rates of construction of IT-based medication error prevention systems resulted in greater safety and a more positive error management climate prevailed. Conclusion: The supportive strategies for improving perception for use of IT-based systems would add to system construction, and positive error management climate would be more easily promoted.

  • This study aimed to develop an agroforestry technology through the participation of local people. The study was conducted in the Makiling Forest Reserve (MFR) of the University of the Philippines Los Banos (UPLB). Diagnosis and Design (D&D) methodology was employed to plan and implement effective research and development projects. Diagnostic interview and direct field observation were conducted to identify the significance of the land-use system and to understand how the system works. As a result of the diagnostic interview and direct field observation in San Vicente, old coconut-based land-use system is shifting to mahogany-based agroforestry system. One of the reasons is due to the very complicated socio-economic and silvicultural factors including lower price of coconut farm products, industry development, lack of labor force, and pest and diseases. Change in land use brought about by the shifting to mahogany-based farming system is slow. Also, mahogany trees are observed to be not well-maintained. However, mahogany based land use system gives farmers' a bigger income as well as environmental benefit. Farmer's cooperation and local forestry policy for CDM were proposed to encourage people's self-restoration effort.

The Development of Extended Urban Land Information System for Sustainable Urban Management

  • This study aims to develop the Extended Urban Land Information System (EULIS) which can support the sustainable urban management. Although the existing Urban Land Use Information system (ULUIS) that aids the micro-level land use information is a good means for the understanding of urban spatial structure and district-level planning and management (such as urban design, redevelopment planning and district-level transportation planning, etc.), it has some limitations in supplying the information for sustainable urban management, such as environmental and traffic analysis, urban infrastructure's carrying capacity analysis, etc. The EULIS is designed to efficiently supply the information for sustainable urban management. For the successful construction of EULIS, the followings have to be considered. 1) the integration of topographic maps which contain the building's footprints and cadastral maps which contain the parcel's boundary, 2) the integration of EULIS and FM (Facility Management) system for the full utilization of information about capacity analysis of infrastructure, 3) the construction of standardized georeferencing system and spatial unit for the combined use of environment and traffic census data. This study shows 1) why EULIS is needed for the sustainable urban management and which elements are needed for the system,2) the E-R data model for the EULIS, 3) the strategies for the construction of EULIS and 4) the conclusion.

영어 활용 능력 향상을 위한 채팅시스템 (Chatting System for English Practical Use Ability Elevation)

  • 최근 들어, 채팅시스템의 사용이 일반화되면서, 이제 채팅시스템은 영어 능력 향상을 위한 도구로 활용되고 있다. 영어 채팅을 위해 현재 사용되고 있는 일반 채팅시스템 및 한글 제한 채팅시스템은 영어와 한글을 혼용하여 채팅을 하거나, 사용하고자 하는 단어 등의 내용을 알지 못해 응답을 하지 못하는 등의 교육 효과적인 측면에서 영어 활용 능력을 높이고자 하는 본래의 취지가 약해지는 문제점이 있었다. 본 논문에서는 영어 채팅 사용자에게 적절한 통제와 안내를 하는 다양한 기능을 지원하여 영어의 쓰기와 말하기 등의 교육효과를 동시에 높일 수 있고, C/S와 P2P 방식을 혼용하여 시스템의 성능을 향상시키는 EPUE 채팅시스템을 제안하였다.

AHP를 이용한 전자경비 시스템의 평가에 관한 연구 (A study on the evaluation of electronic security systems using the AHP)

  • The use of advanced electronic security system is growing quickly to protect properties and life. However, customers cannot select appropriate configuration of the system because there are no objective evaluation methods to measure the security ability of the system. Furthermore, the system suppliers cannot propose quantitative value of security ability of the system. This study suggests an objective evaluation and selection method that customers and suppliers can use to base his or her decision when choosing the most appropriate configuration of the system. Our method identifies 6 characteristics and 20 sub- characteristics of the electronic security system, calculates their weights, and decides the best configuration. We use AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) to assign the weights of characteristics. Finally, this paper gives an example to compare four alternative configurations of the system.

실내 환경에서의 경비로봇용 주행시스템 (A Navigation System for a Patrol Robot in Indoor Environments)

  • In this paper, we develope the navigation system for patrol robots in indoor environment. The proposed system consists of PDA map modelling, a localization algorithm based on a global position sensor and an automatic charging station. For the practical use in security system, the PDA is used to build object map on the given indoor map. And the builded map is downloaded to the mobile robot and used in path planning. The global path planning is performed with a localization sensor and the downloaded map. As a main controller, we use PXA270 based hardware platform in which embedded linux 2.6 is developed. Data handling for various sensors and the localization algorithm are performed in the linux platform. Also, we implemented a local path planning algorithm for object avoidance with ultra sonar sensors. Finally, for the automatic charging, we use an infrared ray system and develop a docking algorithm. The navigation system is experimented with the two-wheeled mobile robot using North-Star localization system.

지식관리시스템의 지속적 사용에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Factors Affecting Continuance Use of Knowledge Management System)

  • 본 연구에서는 KMS의 지속적 사용에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하기 위해 KMS 품질, 지각된 사용용이성과 지각된 유용성, 태도 및 KMS의 지속적 사용 간의 구조적 관계를 실증적으로 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 경찰공무원들을 대상으로 한 설문조사를 통해 실증분석을 시도하였다. 가설검증 결과, 외부요인인 KMS 품질은 지각된 사용 용이성과 지각된 유용성에 유의미한 긍정적 영향을 미치고, 지각된 사용 용이성은 지각된 유용성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 검증되었다. 그리고 KMS에 대한 사용자의 지각된 사용 용이성과 지각된 유용성 모두 KMS 태도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고, 태도요인을 매개로 KMS 사용행위에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석결과를 토대로 본 연구에서는 KMS의 지속적인 수용과정을 설명하고, 그 함의를 제시하였다.

보상과 보안의식이 육군지식포탈 사용자 의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Reward and Security Awareness on User Intention of Knowledge Portal Service for ROK Army)

  • As the importance of Knowledge Management System (KMS) in the military increases, Republic of Korea Army (ROK Army) developed Army Knowledge Portal. Although the members in the military are encouraged to use the portal, few members currently use it. This study was conducted to find variables to predict the user's intention to use the portal, which contributes to activating the use of Army Knowledge Portal in the army. On the basis of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), ten variables such as perceived ease of use, general information security awareness, information security awareness, expectation for external rewards, expectation for relationships, sense of self-worth, attitude toward compliance with security policy, attitude toward knowledge sharing, intention of non-combat knowledge sharing, and intention of combat knowledge sharing were considered as independent variables. 105 participants on active duty who currently use or have experience to use the portal participated in this study. The results indicated that general information security awareness and information security awareness increases compliance with the information security policy. In addition, the attitude toward knowledge sharing is enhanced by expectations for relationship and sense of self-worth. Based on the results, the authors propose the need for policy alternatives to reinforce the reward system and security policy, which activates the use of Knowledge Portal Service for ROK Army.

  • 이 논문은 유스 케이스 기반 실시간 시스템을 위한 디자인 지향 테스트를 소개한다. 우리는 디자인 스키마를 기능적 컴포넌트의 계층적 디자인 컴포넌트 아키텍처(즉 디자인 컴포넌트)로 분할 하는 실시간 소프트웨어 개발을 위한 확장 유스 케이스에 초점을 둔다. 실행 순차의 다양한 유스 케이스의 액션 단위를 기술하는 관련된 시나리오를 포함하는, 즉 실시간 시스뎀 설계의 동적 특성을 반영하는, 유스 케이스 액션 메트릭스를 제안한다. 실시간 시스템을 제안한 디자인 지향 테스트에 적용 시도를 통해 생산성 향상을 위한 시나리오 순서화를 생성하고 기존의 테스트 케이스 재사용을 진작시킨다.

  • Given the growing expectations on the value and application of mobile office, we need to understand the factors which affect its successful use and implementation. We in this paper present a parsimonious model which integrates the IS success model and the TAM. The main feature of the model is that it allows one to explore the role of mobility of mobile office systems in determining the level of system usage and dependence. Although mobility is the key property of any mobile system, there is little research effort exerted to understand how mobility affects the traditional IS factors such as perceived ease of use and usefulness. In addition to the system usage, this model also uses dependence as the dependent variable. This is expected to provide richer understanding of the study context. We collected survey data from 1,614 field service workers of a major domestic electronic company. They use PDAs to retrieve information regarding the specifics of the customer service requests and to report what has been done for each service job. The results from SEM analysis show that mobility improves the perceived ease of use which then leads the field service workers to depend more on the PDA systems. Interestingly enough, however, the workers’ satisfaction does not cause more frequent use of the system.
