  • WBAN/USN systems are applied from the various environment. Therefore, it is coming to be important efficient use power and communication method. The present paper materialize Slave node system which get power from light energy. Also, it materialize Wake-up module and self-power-off circuit which use S-R Flip Flop for efficient using power. This system can be efficient using power at Slave node system. Also, it can be possible application of Self sustaining system by performance verification Wake-up module which determine system "on" without power and Self-power-off circuit.

  • In this paper, we propose an traffic data acquisition method and automatic vehicle classification system using laser. We use a invisible laser to minimize measuring error caused by environmental variation. also we use radio frequency data communication and PCMCIA for operating convenience.

  • Currently, the interests of shortage of water supply is on the rise. Even developed countries are also suffering from a drought and insufficient water supply. Likewise other countries, we do have same problem, but unfortunately we do not have any proper solution either. One of the ways suggested to settle the problem is using rain water that gets people's eyes. Rain water is evaluated such as a good way to blow the problem of water shortage out and unlimited resource. So, this study focused on the prospect of rain harvest system and possible economic effects if this system adopt in Main Stadium of Busan Asiad.

  • This paper describes an expert system for soldiers psychology diagnosis. In the field warfare, platoon leaders or company commanders have to diagnose his soldier's condition correctly. The expert systems, a field of artificial intelligence, can be appropriate approach for ill-structured paradigm. This use an UNIK system. This UNIK system is composed of UNIK-FRAME, UNIK-BWD, UNIK-WBI, UNIK-INDUCE and UNIK-Interface. Especially, UNIK-WBI system is very useful to display soldiers psychology diagnosis and so easy to use it. Any leader or commander can easily do this. This paper data is based on DSMIV. Through This expert system, combat power can be kept and accidents be protected.

  • This work presents an expert system for the classification of a given substance and thus enabling one to select the proper container in consultation with the computer. The system consists of 34 rules and uses Micro Expert as a shell program based on backward chaining method. The prototype system will have to be under extensive test. However, its use is bound to have advantages over conventional methods, e.g. looking up in a reference book or using conventional programs with a database. Since the expert system determines the group of the given substance not by its name but by its physical and chemical properties, it is not necessary to add data items even for newly synthesized substances. The system also provides reasoning for its determination and therefore it can be used as a good package for the training of unskilled operators.

  • Today the tastes of consumers change rapidly and the kinds of the products become diverse. Therefore the product life cycle becomes shorter and shorter. Moreover the save of resources and the recycling for the environmental preservation are the essential theme. On this the necessary information for the product development increases enormously. For the right use of the information the design process should be supported by the proper design tool. For this the 'design catalogue system for recycling' is suggested here. This system consists of four parts, that is, 'the existing automobile system database', 'working principle database', 'assessment system of the ease of disassembly' and 'one's own product development database'. By the use of this system the product development period could be reduced about $30\%$ drastically.

  • System Integration is significant role in building, because it is that the more building system is integrated, the more they can save management costs and energy costs. Nowadays system protocols in building use BACnet, LonWorks, etc. to integrate effectively, but their interoperability is not perfect. Therefore, we propose system integration using Ethernet and TCP/IP for perfect harmony. When data network protocol, Ethernet and TCP/IP is used for control network, there are several problems. But there have been solved by many researches. therefore it is possible that building system integrate to use Ethernet and TCP/IP. Finally, we show that Ethernet and TCP/IP can be used for building automation system integration.

  • The most important non-functional requirements for dependability of any Embedded Real-Time Safety Systems are safety, availability and reliability requirements. System architecture plays the primary role in achieving these requirements. Compliance with these non-functional requirements should be ensured early in the development cycle with appropriate considerations during architectural design. In this paper, we present an application of system architecture modeling for quantitative assessment of system dependability. We use probabilistic model checker (PRISM), for dependability analysis of the DTMC model derived from system architecture model. In general, the model checking techniques do not scale well for analyzing large systems, because of prohibitively large state space. It limits the use of model checking techniques in analyzing the systems of practical interest. We propose abstraction based compositional analysis methodology to circumvent this limitation. The effectiveness of the proposed methodology has been demonstrated using the case study involving the dependability analysis of safety system of a large Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR).

  • A six DOF fine manipulator based on magnetic levitation is developed. Since most of magnetic levitation system are inherently unstable, a proposed magnetically levitated fine manipulator is implemented by use of an antagonistic structure to increase stability. From mathematical modeling and experiment, the equations of motion are derived. In addition, a six DOF sensing system is implemented by use of three 2-axis PSD sensors. A model reference-$H_{\infty}$ controller is applied to the system for the position control, In application of the fine manipulator, a wafer probing system is proposed to identify nonfunctional circuts. The probing system requires compliance to avoid destruction of DUT(device under test). A feedfor- ward-PD controllers are presented by the terms of the position accuracy, the settling time and the force accuracy.y.

  • Development of both multimedia technology and communication network technology has accomplished many changes through the field of learning system. For the construction of a more efficient and clever learning system there is a research being done by the use of the Web and the telephone network. But until now, the case of current implemented teaming system is single system and so it has each merits and demerits. That is to say, when we use the learning system through the Web, the demerit is only possible by the static states using computer. For those who do not use the computer, the demerit is that the user must learn the use of the new system. Also, the case of using telephone network has merits that one can use the system anyplace, anytime by the telephone. But it has the problem of not being able to transmit information very efficiently. From these, this paper proposes the learning system that can be used efficiently and conveniently anyplace, anytime by connecting both telephone network and web. Also, we propose a new algorithm of user ID, password and name registration function using teaming system using VoiceXML and individual learning progress save function using VoiceXML and web.
