  • In this paper we develop an exponentialization procedure for the modelling of open FMS networks with general processing time at each station and limited buffer size. By imposing a reasonable assumption on the solution set, the nonlinear equation system for the exponentialization procedure is formulated as a variational inequality problem and the solution existence is examined. The efficient algorithm for the nonlinear equation system is developed using linearized Jacobi approximation method.

  • This paper deals with analysis on complex and dynamic Primary Health Care (PHC) Systems in rural community to increase understanding of the nature of PHC feedback systems. Because Industrial Dynamics can be very useful for the analysis of such complex and dynamic systems. We used that as a basic tool of Modelling and simulation running. Even If PHC system-models require many assumptions, simulations based on these models can lead decision makers to a better way of problem solving.

  • Discrete event modeling is finding ever more application to anlysis and design of complex manufacturing, communication, computer systems, etc. This paper shows how packet network systems may be advantageously represented as DEVS (Discrete Event System Specification) models by employing System Entity structure / Model base (SES/MB) framework developed by Zeigler. DEVS models and network structure representations support a strong basis for performance analysis of packet network systems. This approach is illustated in a typical packet network example with several routing strategies.

  • This paper presents WMR modelling and path tracking algorithm using Inertial Navigation System. The error models of gyroscope and accelerometers in INS are derived by Gauss-Newton method which is nonlinear regression model. Then, to test availability of error model, we pursue the fitness diagnosis about probability characteristic for real data and estimated data. Performance of inertial sensor with error model and Kalman filter is pursued by comparing with one without them. The computer simulation shows that position error remarkably decrease when error compensation is applied.

  • A synthesis system generating sequential circuits from a high-level hardware descdription language CHDL, modelling language for Thor functional/behavioral simulator, is developed. In this paper, we describe the semantic analysis process, state minimization and state assignment algorithms. proposed assignment algorithm generates optimal state vectors using constraint matrix and similarity graph. Expremental results for MCNC benchmarks, standard test circuits, show that the system inplementing the proposed algorithms can be a viable tool for designing large finite state machines.

  • We are developing an automatic adjusting system for ITC. ITC(Integrated Tube Components) has a large set-by-set variability in its characteristics. And it also has nonlinearities. It requires not only a fast vision process but also an efficient control algorithm to meet the need for high productivity. In this paper, the description of an adjusting system and the modelling of ITC will be presented. And also the concept of a new rule based hierarchical algorithmic approaches will be suggested.

  • This paper describes a numerical scheme for optimal control of a time-dependent linear system to a moving final state. Discretization of the corresponding differential equations gives rise to a linear algebraic system. Defining some binary variables, we approximate the original problem by a mixed integer linear programming (MILP) problem. Numerical examples show that the resulting method is highly efficient.

  • In the most of acoustic system with low flow rate and low pressure level, one-dimensional, linear modeling techniques are used very well. At low frequency, the tube is modeled as inertia element and cavity as capacitance element, and to extend the range of frequency normal mode oscillators are represented. Bond graph modelling techniques are proposed to predict TL (Transmission Loss) and time response which is impossible by transfer matrix in muffler system. A simple acoustic filter which consists of several tubes and cawities is analyzed in both time and frequency domain.
