DS/SS 시스템에서의 차등 검파 기법을 이용한 비동기식 적응형 코드 위상 검출 방법 (Noncoherent adaptive code acquisition scheme using a differential detection technique in DS/SS systems)

  • Adaptive filter based code acquisition scheme offers a fast acquisition with a low error probability. However, it has been studied only under a coherent environment. In this paper, the noncoherent adaptive code acquisition scheme employing a differential detection technique is proposed. For the proposed scheme, system probabilities and the mean acquisition time are analyzed numerically. Simulation results show that the proposed system outperforms over the conventional matched filter by 2-4 ㏈ under AWGN channel for 16 taps.

  • This article explains the theory of multiple mode/physical coordinate synthesis method in order to analyze the dynamic characteristics for an huge marine engine. The theory leads to make a simulation code. The natural frequencies obtained from the simulation code is compared to those from a commercial analysis software, ANSYS. The simulation code is well reviewed.

  • This paper address the problem of tracking multiple objects encountered in many situation in developing condensation algorithms. The difficulty lies on the fact that the implementation of condensation algorithm is not easy for the general users. We propose an automatic code generation program for condensation algorithm using MATLAB tool. It will help for general user who is not familiar with condensation algorithm to apply easily for real system. The merit of this program is that a general industrial engineer can easily simulate the designed system and confirm the its performance on the fly.

  • In this paper, we analyze the performance of transmitter and receiver of W-CDMA system using the space-time code in downlink over JTC realistic channel model. We can get a diversity gain by using the space time code. We also apply the RAKE receiver to improve a performance in multi-path fading channel environment.

  • In this paper, we analyze the performance of transmitter and receiver of W-CDMA system using the channel coding and space time code in downlink over ITU-R realistic channel model. We can improve the reliability of communications and increase the data rate by channel coding, and we can get a diversity gain by using the space time code over fading channels. We also apply the RAKE receiver to improve tile performance in multi-Path fading channel environment.

C-to-SystemC 합성기의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of a C-to-SystemC Synthesizer)

  • 본 논문에서는 입력 동작에 대하여 상위수준 합성을 수행한 후, 합성결과를 SystemC 코드로 전환하는 C-to-SystemC 합성기를 설계 및 구현하였다. 구현된 합성기의 처리과정은 C 소스코드로 기술된 입력 동작을 list 스케줄링 알고리즘을 이용하여 스케줄링한 후, 스케줄링 결과에 left-edge 알고리즘을 이용하여 레지스터 할당을 수행한다. 레지스터 할당 정보를 이용하여 합성기는 채널 및 포트와 같은 SystemC 특성들로 표현된 SystemC 모듈의 코드를 최종적으로 생성한다. C-to-SystemC 합성기의 동작은 EWF(elliptic wave filter)의 합성결과인 SystemC 모듈의 코드를 시뮬레이션하여 검증한다. C-to-SystemC 합성기는 SystemC 설계방법론의 모델링단계부터 합성단계에 이르는 툴 체인의 한 부분으로 사용될 수 있으며, 생성된 SystemC 모듈은 C 모듈에 비해 재사용이 용이하고 다른 SystemC 모듈과 SystemC 채널을 통하여 별도의 추가처리 없이 통신할 수 있다.

  • IMO는 1994년 해양안전 및 해양환경보호를 위해 ISM Code를 채택하였으며, 2002년 12월 선박, 선원, 화물, 항만시설의 안전을 도모하기 위해 ISPS Code를 채택하였다. ISPS Code는 2004년 1월부터 발효되는바, 해운회사 및 항만당국은 본 규정의 시행에 매우 촉박한 상태이다. ISM Code와 ISPS Code는 ISO 9001의 경영시스템 개념에 기초하고 있지만 목적은 다르다. 따라서 이들 세 기준들의 요건들을 비교분석하는 것은 매우 의미가 있을 것이다. 본 고에서는 이들 세 기준들의 배경, 원리, 요건들을 비교분석하고 해운계가 ISPS Code에 적합하게 보안조치를 수립하고 이행하는데 참고가 될 제안을 제시한다.

  • n industrial computer vision systems, the image quality is dependent on the parameters such as light source, illumination method, optics, and surface properties. Most of them are related with the lighting system, which is designed in heuristic based on the designer's experimental knowledge. In this paper, a design code by which the optimal lighting method and light source for computer vision systems can be found are suggested based on experimental results. The design coed is applied to the design of the lighting system for the transistor marking inspection system, and the overall performance of the machine vision system with the lighting system show the effectiveness of the proposed design code.

  • This paper suggests a specific model that could efficiently improve the interaction and the interface between MES(Manufacturing Execution System) server and PDA terminal through RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) system and bar-code system in automative transmission shipment place of the finished assembly parts. The proposed model shows that the new method by RF-Tag system can more efficiently perform to reduce processing time and loading time for shipment, compared with the current approach by bar-code system. It is noted in case of the method by RF-Tag that the effects of proposed model are as follows; (a) While the shipping lead time per truck for carrying by the current method was 35 minutes, the shipping lead time by the new method was 15 minutes. (b) While the accuracy for carrying by the current method was 50%, the accuracy by the new method was 99%.

  • "International Safety Management(ISM) Code" means the International Management Code for the Safe Operation of Ships and for Pollution Prevention as adopted by the Assembly, as may be amended by the International Maritime Organization. This Code have brought into force internationally since 1th July, 1998 by incorporated to the new Chapter Ⅸ in the SOLAS Convention. Accordingly those States which give effect to the SOLAS Convention will have to ensure that rules giving effect to the Code are introduced into their domestic legislation. The purpose of this Code is to provide an international standard for the safe management and operation of ships and for pollution prevention, by this to reduce the maritime casualty which could caused by neglect of person. To achieve this purpose the ISM Code specifies a number of broad 'safety management objectives' for owning or operation companies, and it requires that such companies should establish, implementing and maintain a written Safety Management System(SMS) covering a whole range of safety environmental and related matters. These requirements of the Code could effect on the carrier in some points such as duty of due diligence to care for cargo, due diligence to make the vessel seaworthy and burden of proof etc. In this respect, We should know that the ISM Code could effect on the carrier advantageously or disadvantageously subject to whether the carrier observed the requirement of the ISM Code. Although it does not add cause of liability or increase limitation of liability imposed to the carrier.
