영구자석 동기전동기를 위한 퍼지 관측기 기반의 퍼지 제어기의 설계 및 안정도 해석 (Design and Stability Analysis of a Fuzzy Observer-based Fuzzy Speed Controller for a PM Synchronous Motor)

  • 본 논문에서는 영구자석 동기전동기(PMSM)의 강인한 속도 제어를 위하여 퍼지 부하 토크관측기와 퍼지 속도제어기를 제안한다. 또한, 퍼지 부하 토크관측기와 퍼지 속도제어기가 존재하기 위한 LMI 조건을 유도하고, 관측기 및 제어기의 이득을 계산한다. 제안된 제어시스템의 안정도가 보장됨을 해석적으로 증명한다. 본 연구에서 제안된 관측기 기반의 퍼지 속도제어기의 성능을 검증하기 위하여, 시뮬레이션 및 실험 결과가 주어졌다. 본 결과를 통하여 제안된 제어 알고리즘은 영구자석 동기전동기의 속도를 정확하게 제어할 수 있음을 검증하였다.

  • In this paper, a robust adaptive backstepping controller will be proposed for the speed control of permanent magnet synchronous motors in using electrical vehicles. Stator resistance, damping coefficient, load torque are considered as uncertainties and noise generated at applying load torque to motor is also considered. It shows that the backstepping algorithm can be used to solve the problems of nonlinear system very well and robust controller can be designed without the variation of adaptive law. Simulation results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the Proposed controller.

  • The synchronous PI current controller has been widely used for the high performance PM synchronous drives and generally implemented using a digital signal processor. This paper describes the control characteristics of the digital PI current controller for PM synchronous drives. The stability of the current control system considering the sampling time is investigated and the effects of the mismatched decoupling terms in the discrete-time domain are also discussed. The simulation results are provided to verify the theoretic results.

적응제어기를 이용한 영구자석 동기전동기의 속도 제어 (Speed Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors using an Adaptive Controller)

  • This paper proposes a new adaptive speed controller to achieve a robust speed control of a permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM). The proposed adaptive regulator does not require any information on the motor parameter and load torque values, so it is very insensitive to model parameter and load torque variations. Also, the stability of the proposed adaptive control system is proven. To validate the robustness of the proposed adaptive speed controller, both simulation and experimental results are provided under motor parameter and load torque variations. It is clearly demonstrated that the proposed adaptive regulator can accurately control the speed of permanent magnet synchronous motors.

  • The Test Signal Method is adopted to analyze the impact of thyristor controlled series capacitor (TCSC) on sub-synchronous oscillation. The results show that the simulation system takes the risk of Sub-synchronous Oscillation (SSO) while the TCSC is operating in the capacitive region. A supplementary excitation damping controller (SEDC) is used to mitigate SSO caused by the TCSC. A new optimization method which is aimed for optimal phase compensation is proposed. This method is realized by using the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm. The simulation results show that the SEDC designed by this method has superior suitability, and that the secure operation scope of the TCSC is greatly increased.

  • In this paper, a controller design for coreless linear synchronous motor is proposed. The designed controller is mainly composed of speed and current control, which are carried out by the high-speed digital signal processor(DSP). In addition the PWM inverter is controlled by space voltage PWM method. This system is implemented using by 32-bit DSP(TMS320C31), a high-integrated logic device(EPM940), and IPM(Intelligent Power Modules) for compact and powerful system design. The experimental results show the effective performance of controller for coreless linear synchronous motor.

Optimization of PI Controller Gain for Simplified Vector Control on PMSM Using Genetic Algorithm

  • This paper proposes the used of genetic algorithm for optimizing PI controller and describes the dynamic modeling simulation for the permanent magnet synchronous motor driven by simplified vector control with the aid of MATLAB-Simulink environment. Furthermore, three kinds of error criterion minimization, integral absolute error, integral square error, and integral time absolute error, are used as objective function in the genetic algorithm. The modeling procedures and simulation results are described and presented in this paper. Computer simulation results indicate that the genetic algorithm was able to optimize the PI controller and gives good control performance of the system. Moreover, simplified vector control on permanent magnet synchronous motor does not need to regulate the direct axis component current. This makes simplified vector control of the permanent magnet synchronous motor very useful for some special applications that need simple control structure and low cost performance.

  • Multi-climbing hydraulic robots are used to lift construction factory (CF) synchronously for applications in the automation of a high-rise building construction. In this study, synchronous motion controller is proposed for the hydraulic robots, whose strategy is not only to make each robot follow the reference path basically by sliding-mode control, but also to synchronize motions of two adjacent cent robots consecutively by cross-coupled control technique. Simulations are performed by using SIMULINK for a system similar to a practical application that includes unbalance in CF and wind disturbance. The results show that the proposed controller significantly reduces synchronous errors, compared to the individual controller for each hydraulic robot.

전력변환기를 이용한 영구자석 동기전동기용 실시간 시뮬레이터 (Real Time Simulator for a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor with Power Converter)

  • Recently, the real time simulator to develop the inverter drive board and motor control algorithm for high power induction motor and PM synchronous motor is required. In this paper, the real time simulator based on the voltage control for a PM synchronous motor is proposed. The resistor, inductor, and the induced voltage for the modeling of a PM synchronous motor is implemented by the power converter including the LCL filter and the PWM rectifier. The induced voltage of a PM synchronous motor is simulated by the capacitor voltage of the LCL filter, which is controlled by PI voltage controller and the deadbeat current controller. The operation and the simulated characteristics of the proposed real time simulator for a PM synchronous motor is verified by the simulation.

  • 본 논문은 LC 필터를 갖는 3상 인버터에 적합한 고성능 전압제어기에 대해서 기술한다. 불평형 부하 및 비선형 부하시 3상 인버터의 출력전압 왜곡을 동시에 보상 할 수 있는 새로운 동기좌표계 전압제어기를 제안한다. 제안된 제어기는 전용의 디지털 필터를 사용하여 불평형 및 비선형 부하 상태하에서도 동기좌표계의 PI 전압제어기가 3상 평형의 선형부하에서와 같이 직류값을 가지고 동작하게 함으로써 비록 전압제어기의 대역폭이 높지 않아도 정상상태 오차를 현격히 감소시킨다. 제안한 제어기의 성능의 타당성을 입증하기 위해서 모의실험 결과를 보였으며 실험을 통하여 모의실험 결과를 확인하였다.
